Outstanding hotel, highly recommended. The rooms are large, comfortable and practical, with lovely views of the river. The bathrooms are especially nice, with large bathtubs. Breakfast is varied, with an excellent range of delicious food. The staff are extremely polite and helpful: they were able to check me in even at 3:00am after I arrived on the night train. The cleaners are quick, thorough and efficient, too. The staff provide thoughtful gifts like free oranges for Spring Festival. The hotel is well located for getting around Wuzhou, and all the taxi drivers know it. There seems to be lots to do within the hotel, too, including restaurants, a spa, a KTV lounge, a tea house and a swimming pool, so it would be excellent for large groups too.

Right from the start, a security guard helped me with my luggage, and he was really enthusiastic, even suggesting I park my car closer to the hotel entrance for better security. They upgraded my room for free to one on the 7th floor with a large balcony, perfect for enjoying the scenery, especially the Sun and Moon Pagodas standing majestically in the lake. The room itself was well-equipped, very clean, and completely satisfying in every aspect. The bathroom facilities were excellent and comfortable. Before I left, they even gave me a thoughtful souvenir. My only minor complaint is that the chairs and table on the balcony, presumably for guests to relax and enjoy the view, were wet from the rain the past two days. The fabric cushions were soaked. It would have been nice if someone had warned me, as I didn't notice myself and ended up sitting in a puddle.

The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip.

Heshe Hotel stands as one of the finest resorts for accommodation in Guilin. Their hospitality, culinary offerings, ambiance, and staff are all exceptionally delightful and helpful. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by amazing front desk attendant, Melody. She assisted us through out our stay and made sure we’re comfortable and well taken care of and our tour guide, Eric, who communicated fluently in English, significantly easing our experience as non-Chinese speakers. The owner was equally gracious, sharing their barbecue with us, creating a sense of homeliness. This hotel is located just 15 minutes from the main tourist attractions, with rooms that are very clean and offer breathtaking views. I am definitely coming back again.

This hotel is located in the bustling city center, offering excellent connectivity and a wide array of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. Despite being in a lively area, it's surprisingly quiet inside, thanks to good soundproofing in the rooms. The rooms themselves are well-designed, providing a great place to unwind after a day of travel. The breakfast buffet is delicious and authentic, which is a big plus. The front desk and all the service staff are exceptionally polite, another major bonus. If I ever visit this area again, this will definitely be my first choice.

Right after the Dragon Boat Festival, I decided to extend my stay for a few extra days to truly experience Nanning, a city with great food and sights! The high-altitude hotel offered a perfect stay. The facilities were excellent; the pool was open until 10 PM and very clean, and the gym was accessible 24 hours. For breakfast, they even had luosifen, old friend noodles, and Guilin rice noodles – yum! The location was great, just a short walk to MixC shopping mall. Getting around was also very convenient; finding taxis and rides was never an issue, which is a huge plus. The staff were all super friendly, always greeting me warmly no matter how late it was. The front desk service was thoughtful, the environment was quiet and clean, and they even provided umbrellas in the room, which came in handy during the rainy season. The spa was also a nice touch. Definitely one of the hotels I'd recommend!

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

來北海玩剛好碰上了陣雨，本來不抱期望了，結果在sown找到了另一種鬆弛感！雖然天氣不好，但酒店的環境依然很贊，每個角落隨便拍都出片。客房內的迷你吧備的零食和飲料完美安撫嘴饞時刻。最驚喜的是那個超大的户外泳池，雖然下雨天沒下水，坐在被林木包裹起來的泳池邊，像身處祕境，聽着雨聲也覺得格外治癒。去銀灘上散步超級方便，步行3分鐘就到了，銀白色的沙子無愧天下第一灘的名聲。客房衞生乾淨，服務貼心，在這裏躺平完全是一種享受！

The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom and toilet, which was very convenient, and the hygiene was excellent. The neighboring restaurant, Pushi, was also very good, and their set meals offered great value. There's a mini-bar on the 4th floor with a fantastic view. The laundry and drying facilities on the 5th floor deserve five stars – everything is connected and super convenient. You can even stand on the terrace and enjoy views of the Li River. The hotel is located on West Street, but not in the busy area, so it's relatively quiet. The Li River is right opposite, making it easy to enjoy the scenery, and it's incredibly close to Longtoushan Pier. If you're coming by ferry from Guilin, it's a super short walk after disembarking. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out, and the service was excellent!

We had a beautiful stay at Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel! The hotel is beautiful, well equipped with everything we needed - fresh water and towels everyday, option to chose between Chinese and Western breakfast and delicious fruits. Xiaoming was so nice to give us the e-bikes to drive around Guilin for free and we enjoyed using them a lot! If we had any questions about the area or needed a ticket for the li yang river cruise he immediately took care of it for us. We had also had a pickup from the train station so we didn’t need to find the way to the resort on our own. It was a wonderful stay.
