I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

This hotel near the high-speed train station is super convenient for getting around. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the station. Great value for money, and they have a large free parking lot. The facilities are comprehensive, and the service is exceptionally good.

With its tech-savvy rooms activated by voice command, this hotel has much to recommend itself. With its wall mounted water dispensing system allowing one to set temperature and get hot, warm or cold water at the press of a few buttons (rendering a kettle obsolete), a disinfectant cabinet for cups and glasses and a glass-fronted fridge named ”a soda fountain” where the mineral water, beers and fizzy drinks are kept, plus a motion sensor toilet bowl with heated seat, the rooms, though compact and lacking in counter and storage space, are made for ease and convenience. Among the hotel's comprehensive amenities are an outdoor swimming pool, guest laundry and gym, a tea room, a truly well furnished children's play area with game consoles and a niche for experiencing traditional crafts like fan dyeing. The attention to detail in its interior decor renders this establishment extremely camera-worthy. Its location right beside the serene Ronghu Park means the bulk of the rooms faces the lake with its panoramic vistas. A pity the television has no English language channels, not even their national CGTN.

This is the best Wyndham hotel I've stayed at so far. There's plenty of parking, the soundproofing is excellent, and I slept very well. The breakfast incorporates some local specialties and has a wide variety of options. It would be even better if the lobby had a display area showcasing local specialties from various counties.

Very convenient location and there’s electric bike on the sidewalk.
The room is spacious and tidy, but the bathroom floor was wet when I checked in. There’s no refrigerator but you can ask for ice if needed.
View is just city and the distant is good.
A perfect place to stay in Yangshuo, I regret not booking more days!
This hotel in Yangshuo is absolutely divine! I originally only booked two nights, but as soon as I checked in, I regretted not extending my stay. The experience was truly amazing!
Its location is superb – not far from West Street but just enough to avoid the noise, so it's very peaceful at night. It's only about a ten-minute walk to the Li River trail. If you want to visit attractions, the front desk can even help arrange a car, with transparent pricing so you won't get ripped off. My favorite part was the room's viewing balcony. Sitting on the rattan chair in the evening, enjoying the breeze and admiring the silhouettes of the distant mountains while sipping the complimentary osmanthus wine from the hotel, the ambiance was just perfect.
The service was incredibly thoughtful! They proactively helped us with our luggage upon check-in, and seeing that we had elderly family with us, they even upgraded us to a family room with a sofa. Fresh breakfast was delivered to our room every morning; the aroma of the Guilin rice noodles' gravy was intoxicating, and the freshly baked waffles with fruit were so delicious I couldn't stop eating them. The housekeeping auntie was also very meticulous, tidying up the room perfectly every day and even helping to collect and fold our dried laundry.
The facilities are also top-notch. The bedding in the room was super soft and comfortable, the bathroom was clean with a good wet/dry separation, and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel's small garden is exquisitely maintained, filled with bougainvillea and hydrangeas, making every photo a masterpiece. In the evening, small tables and chairs are set up in the garden, offering complimentary tea. Sitting there chatting with family and friends was simply delightful.
When we checked out, the hotel even gave us local Yangshuo osmanthus cakes as a gift, which was incredibly heartwarming! Next time I visit Yangshuo, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I genuinely recommend it to all friends visiting Yangshuo!

This hotel exceeded all my expectations; it's more like a one-stop resort complex than just a hotel.
**Food:**
As a seasoned foodie, the dining experience is always my top priority, and this place truly delivered with a different menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, but my heart will forever belong to their Guilin rice noodles. Made to order, served with a spoonful of secret braised sauce, fried soybeans, and pickled long beans – the flavor was absolutely divine! I had to have two bowls to truly satisfy my craving. It's also worth noting that the soy milk during breakfast is freshly ground, incredibly smooth, and full of natural soybean flavor, tasting just like homemade. Pairing that with a freshly brewed coffee while enjoying the view by the window was such a relaxing and therapeutic experience.
**Photography:**
Another hidden gem of my stay was the complimentary travel photoshoot. I initially just planned to snap a few pictures for memories, but the photographer was excellent at directing, and the compositions were fantastic. What truly impressed me was the post-processing. When I received the photos, I noticed only subtle adjustments to lighting and color, with my skin texture beautifully preserved. There was no over-editing or artificial beautification; it looked natural and very high-end.
**Unexpected Delights:**
The hotel's most unique feature is surprisingly its cormorant birds! Due to my schedule, I unfortunately missed seeing them, which was a bit of a shame.
They also offer intangible cultural heritage craft experiences!
**Butler service is available 24 hours.**

This hotel is perfectly situated right by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area, directly opposite the Sun and Moon Pagodas. It's also next door to the pedestrian street and only about 300 meters from Elephant Hill Park. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the breakfast was both plentiful and delicious.

My kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave, allowing this mom to relax and enjoy the trip.
We stayed in the Little Yellow Duck family room, which came with a tent, plush toys, and various cartoon-themed soft furnishings. They also provided exclusive children's amenities, showing incredible attention to detail – it was so thoughtful! Right outside our room was the hotel's kids' playground, featuring a ball pit slide, a play kitchen area, and a dress-up corner that my daughter adored. She went wild as soon as we entered and I literally couldn't pull her away; she just wanted to stay and play at the hotel!
The hotel also has a gym, an outdoor pool, an outdoor bar, and a self-service laundry room with sterilization and drying functions. Breakfast is served at the Nai Garden Restaurant, and the ambiance speaks for itself – just look at the pictures! It was incredibly picturesque, especially with a bit of rain, giving off strong Monet vibes. The atmosphere was just perfect! I have to praise the hotel breakfast; the value for money is absolutely amazing. For this price, the breakfast spread was so rich, including Guilin's famous oil tea, rice noodles, Western pastries, and Chinese breakfast items. They even offered cups for free takeaway coffee – as a coffee addict, I had two cups to get my day started ☕️.
On the first floor, the hotel lobby also had a Chinese New Year event where my child experienced making hand-printed good fortune paper, and they even framed her artwork as a gift. My daughter was thrilled!
Across from the hotel is a department store, making shopping and exploring very convenient. It's also very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and the Li River scenic area. Elephant Hill Scenic Area, East-West Alley, and Zheng Yang Pedestrian Street are all within walking distance. Guilin, this picturesque and poetic little city, is truly chill and always uplifting. It's super suitable for a city walk with kids!

Longguang Nalian is absolutely outstanding, exceeding all my expectations! While the rooms aren't newly renovated, they are exceptionally well-maintained and spotless. The service is truly excellent; everyone is incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely service-oriented. They even offered recommendations for local food and attractions. When I mentioned I wouldn't have enough time to visit Qingxiu Mountain on my first day, they kindly extended my check-out time, which was incredibly thoughtful! They even gave me a souvenir when I left. Also, I highly recommend the dim sum at the Yunyue restaurant – it's been ages since I've had dim sum this delicious! The hotel facilities are fantastic as well; the views from the restaurant, gym, and swimming pool are all unbeatable and absolutely stunning. I'll definitely be staying at Longguang Nalian again on my next trip to Nanning.

HHaoyunlailyyThis hotel in Yangshuo was such a pleasant surprise! You get amazing mountain views right from your room. The rooftop 'Sky Mirror' offers stunning panoramic views of the winding Li River – it's like a built-in filter for your photos, every shot looks professional! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to West Street, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. Plus, there's free parking, which is a huge bonus if you're driving.
They offer a complimentary buffet breakfast, and the rooms are spacious. I loved relaxing on the balcony sofa during the day, just unwinding and enjoying the mountain scenery, and then watching the sunset in the evening – it felt like time just slowed down. The room I booked even had a soaking tub, and bathing while looking at the mountains was incredibly relaxing! For anyone looking to escape the city for a bit, a weekend here is truly rejuvenating!

XXingfu33yangyangmaNanning was the second stop on our ***** New Year trip, and for convenience, we chose a hotel in the central area!
[Location] The hotel's location is indeed excellent, very close to the subway, right next to a commercial street, making dining, shopping, and getting around very convenient. Objectively speaking, the hotel's only strong point is its location...
[Environment] The hotel lobby has a popular spiral staircase, but other than that, it's really old and rundown. Because there are several restaurants in the building, there's a constant flow of people, making it not only feel chaotic but also unsafe!
[Room] The room was the worst part. I genuinely read reviews saying that even though it's an old hotel, the interior was quite new, and it was even a local 'influencer' hotel. However, the room we stayed in was genuinely old. The cabinet door was broken, the refrigerator door was damaged, and there wasn't even a clothesline in the bathroom, and so on and so forth. I'm too lazy to go on...
[Service] This I must commend! The cleaning lady who tidied our room during our stay always greeted us, and if we needed anything, she would immediately come to help. The room was also cleaned very well. Give this lady an extra drumstick!
[Dining] We had breakfast in the restaurant and also one buffet dinner. The service was truly awful. My honest experience with that buffet dinner was that it's just an 'influencer' restaurant; the promotions were much better than the actual food. It was a stark contrast between the seller's photos and the buyer's reality... The excuses about having many guests during the ***** New Year and being unable to keep up with service and dishes are just that – excuses. Didn't you prepare for this in advance?
In short, 'influencer' hotels and 'influencer' restaurants are just for show...

Very Good
GGuest UserFirstly, on our check-in, we were told we can upgrade to a Riverview room at a cost of around 100 RMB. after we agreed to upgrade and got up to our room. (Please see picture below)that was the river room. Nothing like a river view room that we have ever experienced. When we called the manager to ask for the river room, we got upgraded to a higher floor( see the picture attached) again not a river view room that we would ever called it.
Dinner.
We book our dinner in the Chinese restaurant Xianggong (香宫) not to mention their service was extremely slow. We waited for our noodle until the last course to be served like a hour. Please see the picture attach. This is the picture on the menu that I was expecting please see picture attached that is the noodle that got served to me. a although I understand in some situation, the picture is just for reference, but I think at this case this is extremely misrepresented. Another dish we orders “ wagyu beef with mushrooms. “ again we questioned this is hardly wagyu beef and please see the picture below. That’s the dish we got served, nothing like the picture again.
It was deeply disappointing experience, and we booked based on the Shangri -La name and our previous experiences. Although Shangri Guilin has his beautiful landscape and infrastructure, the service is clearly not a Shanghai standard.

HHuihuigFacilities: The room environment is really good and new.
Cleanliness: It's very clean in Yangshuo, and there was no dust in the room.
Service: We were greeted every time we entered and left. Seeing that there were three of us, they even upgraded us to a king-size bed room, which was very satisfying. My parents went for breakfast and said it was very good, and different every day.
It's very convenient, right by West Street. Highly recommend staying here.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Chongzuo is truly a hidden gem and absolutely worth it! ✨
The environment is incredible, surrounded by lush greenery, making it incredibly healing and relaxing.
The breakfast is both beautiful and delicious, I looked forward to it every morning and was always super satisfied.
Even though the room rate is a bit on the higher side, the experience makes it completely worth every penny. There are so many free activities daily, staying for 4 days felt anything but boring. It's not just for families; even adults without kids can have a fantastic time here.
I've already recommended it to friends with children – it's a great place to bring the kids.
And a huge shoutout to our butler, Doris! She was incredibly thoughtful and professional. She reached out before we even checked in, and was always responsive to all our requests throughout our stay. Her service was outstanding!
Having such an amazing butler truly elevated our travel experience. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from where our 4-star cruise disembarked, which was perfect for us traveling with elderly family members. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, patiently answering all our questions. The car service they booked for us was incredibly reliable, and our family was very happy with the next day's tour – the car was in great condition, and the itinerary was well-planned. Our double room was spacious and quiet, with a well-separated wet and dry area in the bathroom, though the bathroom itself was a bit small, which was the only minor drawback. The hotel environment is lovely; the 5th-floor terrace offers direct river views, and there's a small bar on the 4th floor with discounts for guests. We tried the Osmanthus beer when we came back in the evening, and it was delicious! Breakfast was also a highlight, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. When we checked out, the front desk staff even helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly thoughtful. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!
GGuest UserI chose the Boyin Hotel for my two-night stay in Guilin, and it was a truly delightful experience during my trip. The room was spacious and comfortable, with an elegant design that made me feel relaxed the moment I walked in. The hotel's location is superb, right by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, directly facing Shan Lake. From my room, I could enjoy the beautiful lake views and the enchanting nightscape of the Sun and Moon Pagodas – a huge plus for the scenery.
The surrounding amenities are also incredibly convenient. It's close to East West Alley, Zheng Yang Pedestrian Street, and the Riyuewan cruise terminal. Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area is also within walking distance, making both shopping and sightseeing incredibly easy and enjoyable.
The Cloud Top Restaurant on the top floor is particularly noteworthy; the dinner was exquisite and delicious, and dining with such a beautiful view was a true pleasure. The hotel's service also left a deep impression on me; every staff member was warm, sincere, and attentive, making me feel right at home.
Overall, it's a high-quality hotel that combines an excellent location, stunning views, comfort, and exceptional service. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Guilin.
