I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

This hotel near the high-speed train station is super convenient for getting around. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the station. Great value for money, and they have a large free parking lot. The facilities are comprehensive, and the service is exceptionally good.

The hotel's biggest plus is its excellent location. We booked a lake-view room and could see Rong Lake right across. Just a short walk from the hotel is the Rong Lake scenic area, complete with a winding bridge. A little further takes you to Shan Lake, where you can admire the Sun and Moon Pagodas. We saw them during the day and then returned in the evening to enjoy their night view. Past the pagodas, you can walk to the Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area. From there, it's a short stroll to Zheng Yang Pedestrian Street, Dongxi Alley, Central Square, and Zhongshan Middle Road. We spent a whole day on a city walk, really soaking in Guilin's urban atmosphere. In the evening, passing by Rong Lake, we even stumbled upon an older brass band playing everything from 'Butterfly Lovers' to 'Woman Flower,' with people spontaneously joining in with square dancing – it was so much fun! The hotel breakfast offered rice noodles and oil tea, which was a great local experience. Another bonus is that each floor has a laundry room and dryer, and you can even leave a note for the staff to help with washing and delivery. No more waiting around for a washing machine!

Traveling through Baise on my trip to Yunnan, I saw Wyndham in my search results and it looked good, so I booked a king room to share with a friend. It was a bit quiet and empty when we checked in, but all the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and warm. It really brightened up my tiring journey! 😊 They even specifically gave us a room with a great view and location. The room itself was really spacious, and the bed was wide enough for two people to sleep comfortably, and super soft! There's an indoor heated pool and gym on the second floor, both free to use. The only downside is that there's no self-service laundry, but I heard the hotel is planning to add it. If I come back, I hope that service will be available – that would make it perfect! It's also very close to shopping areas. This place is great for a slow-paced, relaxing life. Highly recommend! 🥳

The room directly overlooks the artificial lake, which is absolutely beautiful. If I were to visit again in March or April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it would be truly magnificent. The breakfast was also quite enjoyable; I even got to make my own waffles, which were wonderfully fluffy and soft, just like the ones my grandma used to make back home. The environment here is also very relaxing and pleasant.

The room was very spacious, and the front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even assisting us with charging our electric scooter. The balcony offered a great view, and there were plenty of dining options right next to the hotel.

This hotel is built right by the river, offering a prime, direct view! Our room had large floor-to-ceiling windows and a tatami area, and since it faced east, we could even catch the sunrise if the weather permitted. The hotel offers a wide range of activities and amenities. The room was clean and equipped with a smart toilet, and the hot water came on quickly. The hotel's central location makes it incredibly convenient to visit many attractions, and getting a taxi is easy. Plus, every staff member was really enthusiastic and made us feel at home. Next time we get the chance, we'll definitely try out a room with a terrace!

Excellent location in front of Sun and Moon pagoda. Choose view on the river Nice room, good bed, a bit outdated but stylish and clean Friendly staff, the receptionist spoke good English and the concierge enough . The entrance and facade are a bit old, but this doesn't really matters. The hotel is large and host groups which might not suit some people but I wasn't bothered at all. I booked the cruise on the Li River via the concierge for the next day, good organisation and not overpriced

I really didn't expect to find such a stylish hotel in Guilin! So many thoughtful design details, and each room even has its own name. Every day, they offer complimentary warm porridge and whole grains, plus a free cup of coffee. They deliver luggage to your room, and the one-on-one butler service is incredibly attentive with daily greetings, and their recommendation PPTs are excellent! The environment and facilities are, of course, top-notch. I've already highly recommended it to my friends!

I genuinely recommend this high-rise hotel. The service throughout my stay was excellent, and the front desk handled check-in efficiently, even kindly explaining nearby attractions. They were always on hand to help with any requests, which was very thoughtful. The room had great natural light, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning city views, creating a fantastic atmosphere at night. The bedding was soft and the hygiene was top-notch. Plus, the location is very convenient. It was an incredibly good value for money experience.
