This hotel is right by the sea; you can literally step out and be on the beach, and even watch the ocean from your bed. The front desk lady was very thoughtful and reserved a room for us in advance. We even received a small gift when we checked out. Highly recommend for couples! [Heart emoji]

The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the water pressure was consistent. The air conditioning was silent, and the Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay. All the facilities looked new and were well-maintained. The bedding was pristine white and odorless. There was no dust on the floors or windowsills, and the bathroom corners and mirrors were spotless, free of water stains. The attention to detail in cleaning made for a very comfortable and reassuring stay.

My partner and I came to Linyi for a trip. After comparing various options online, we decided on the Lizhi Hotel. The price was very affordable, offering excellent value for money. We drove from Langya Ancient City to the hotel, and it was probably only about a ten-minute drive. There's a parking lot right in front of the hotel, which made parking very convenient. The only minor downside was the lack of breakfast; I think it would be a significant improvement if they opened their restaurant soon. However, the service was truly impeccable. Check-in was very quick and efficient, and we even received a small souvenir gift at check-out. They truly embodied the principle of 'customer first,' and I was extremely pleased with this aspect.

Overall, it's pretty good and very cost-effective! The cleanliness is also good, and the environment is nice. There's free water in the lobby during check-in, and they even serve porridge in the evening. Highly recommended if your budget is around 100 yuan. There are many restaurants downstairs, including delicious osmanthus cake. It's about a 15-minute walk to some famous local snacks (Yang Guada, Sanjiao Huoshao, Mala Tang, etc.).

The room is clean, the facilities are good, and the service is excellent with daily housekeeping. It's close to Dai Temple and Taishan Night Market, and also near the Taishan Red Gate Tourist Center. Special cultural and creative products from Tai'an: a free Shidangdang stone. Complimentary 'Drunken Hibiscus' (available when dining in the restaurant).

The receptionist was very welcoming and upgraded my room for free. The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. Parking was convenient and free, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. I would definitely book again next time. Finally, I want to praise the receptionist again; she was beautiful, kind, and spoke very gently.

I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. In short: excellent value for money. **Hotel Environment:** Good. The hotel lobby has a 'Liaozhai' (Chinese classic tales) theme, and the rooms are well-equipped. **Hotel Service:** Excellent. The front desk staff paid warm attention to my needs, for example, making sure I wasn't next to the elevator. They even gave me a lottery ticket (too bad I didn't win!). My room came with four complimentary bottles of water. Check-out is officially at 2 PM, and I only woke up past noon, yet no one disturbed me [facepalm emoji]. I later found a note in the room saying you could order free wontons at night. All these little details really warmed my heart – truly deserving of my great Zibo! (See photos). **Location:** The most important thing is that the hotel is close to the train station, and the soundproofing is decent. It's about an 8-minute taxi ride from the train station, and despite being close, it's not noisy at all. I, for one, had a very peaceful night's sleep. Great value for money! I'm very satisfied! It'll be my top choice next time.

I recently stayed at the Penglai Marriott Hotel, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations! As a seaside resort hotel, its location, service details, and facilities are all highly recommended. 📍 Location: 10/10 The hotel boasts a prime location on the Penglai beachfront, with rooms facing the azure sea and sky, allowing you to enjoy sunrises and sunsets without leaving your room. It's only a 10-minute walk to the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Scenic Area and a 15-minute drive to Penglai Pavilion, making it incredibly convenient for tourists. Evening strolls along the seaside boardwalk, with the sea breeze on your face, are absolutely delightful. 🏨 Hotel Environment and Design: 9.5/10 The lobby design blends modern art with Penglai's Taoist cultural elements, creating a grand yet localized atmosphere. The rooms are well-laid out, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed sea views. The bedding is comfortable, and the hygiene is impeccable; I especially appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and the high-quality toiletries provided. 🍽 Dining Experience: 9/10 The breakfast selection was plentiful, offering both classic Western dishes and local specialties (such as Penglai noodles and seafood porridge), with fresh ingredients. For dinner, we tried the seafood set meal at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The chef's control of cooking time and seasoning was perfect, and the waiters even thoughtfully explained the stories behind the dishes. 👨👩👧 Family-Friendly: 9.10 Families with children will definitely love this place! The hotel has an indoor children's playground and an outdoor swimming pool (open in summer), and staff will give children small toys. There are many nearby attractions, so kids won't be bored all day. 🌟 Service Details: 9.10 From check-in to check-out, we experienced meticulous and thoughtful service throughout. Check-in was quick at the front desk, room service was responsive, and the concierge proactively offered suggestions for nearby attractions. Upon check-out, the front desk gave us a small souvenir from Penglai, a very thoughtful touch. 📌 Tips: · We recommend choosing a high-floor ocean-view room for a more expansive view; · The hotel garden is perfect for an evening stroll and takes great photos; · Off-season bookings offer better value; keep an eye out for special packages in advance. If you're planning a vacation in Penglai or looking for a relaxing seaside hotel, this is definitely worth adding to your list. Already looking forward to coming back!

SShengsheng_This was my first time staying at an Atour Light hotel. The style is really interesting, with a predominantly blue theme, making it feel more geared towards a younger crowd. The room size was pretty standard, not particularly large, but the cleanliness and service were excellent in every aspect. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and quickly helped with any requests we had. However, the biggest issue with the room was the poor soundproofing. You could clearly hear people laughing or talking loudly in nearby rooms. This is definitely something that could use improvement.

GGuest UserThe best place for a calm vacation on a beach for a affordable price. This was a nice little hotel standing right in front of a beach. The placement can be seen as perfect as this large beach is wonderful itself and much better then the beaches at the city center. The only inconvenience to consider when choosing this or nearby hotels is lack of cafes and restorans nearby, so you'd better take breakfasts in the hotel, they were not bad, tasty and very filing, with serveral options to choose from. For other places to eat, except for a two nearby costly restorans, you'll have to wark to find one about 1-1,5 km or more. If you want to spend more time in the city center consider also the time to travel to it, about 1,5 hours on a bus, 30-50 minutes on taxi. The service was decent, even though stuff does not speak english they were very welcome and supportive, helping me and calling taxi a couple of times when I needed it. The hotel itself is clean. The room was cleaned daily, not perfectly as the floors in the room stayed a bit dusty all the time but that was not too much of an issue. The bedding was always clean, towels were clean as well and changed daily. I have to say a few words about the beach and the see themselves. The beach is large and clean, there are trash bins which are cleaned daily. It have a sand of very good quality, indeed of a golden color. The beach longs for several kilometers and is from about 150 meters wide to 200+ meters wide depending on the tides. The beach is shallow but no too much, you can easily walk to a place where you can swim freely. It was August and the water was extremely warm and cozy. It was clean with little human made trash coming from the see, but due to temperature the water near the shore start blooming on a second or third day of my stay there. I had to walk 10-15 meters in a 50-80 centimeters deep water full of seaweed before I come to clear waters. I bit unpleasant but not a big deal. There were some jelly fish coming the shore, the see doesn't have dangerous ones though. The beach has some infrastructure, at least there is a place to wash your hands and legs and there are public toilets nearby the beach, but there are no safeguards on it. With an chinese specifics I would say that's a plus as they are too restrictive and protective here.

Hospitable Shandong truly lives up to its name ^ ^ The hotel's location is also superb, very close to May Fourth Square, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. YYanieve⸻ Just returned from a stay at Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel—a solid choice near Shilaoren Bathing Beach and the International Convention and Exhibition Center 🤩. With an impressive overall Trip.com rating of 8.8/10, guests rave about its service, cleanliness, and convenience . The location scores about 8.9/10—it’s roughly a ten-minute walk to the sandy beach and sits just 8.5 km from Qingdao’s downtown core and 14 km from Qingdao North Railway Station. Not ideal if you need a car—there’s no on-site parking (). Amenities and service both come in around 8.6–8.9/10, with friendly staff and smooth check‑in/out process (). Cleanliness is top notch with a clean rating of 9.0/10 . 🌞 What stood out: • Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring big windows and modern décor in a sleek New‑Chinese style. Everything felt new and well-kept . • The beds are comfy (2.2 × 2.2 m, pure cotton linens), showers felt luxurious, and the soundproofing was excellent. Also enjoy convenient rapid check‑out service with personal touches . • The breakfast buffet gets solid praise—tasty and well-rounded start to the day (). 💤 Stay comfort: 9.0/10 • Clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed rooms made for a relaxing and bright stay. 📍 Location: 8.9/10 • Close to beach access and the expo center, plus shopping and transit nearby—but no parking if you’re driving. 🤝 Service: 8.9/10 • Staff are described as friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out are seamless. 🛎️ Amenities: 8.6/10 • Offers the basics—Wi-Fi, in-house restaurant (light meals available), and cozy space—but lacks a gym or pool . ⸻ ✅ Quick tips: • Ask for a seaview or beach‑side room—light is great, and views are peaceful 🌊🌅. • It’s walkable to the sand and just a short ride from Qingdao International Convention Centre. • No parking, so if you’re self-driving, plan to park nearby or use public transport 🚉. • No fitness center or pool, but hey—you’re steps from the beach 🏖. ⸻ Final verdict: With modern rooms, sparkling clean spaces, strong service, and a primo location near Shilaoren Beach and the convention center, Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel scores a solid 9/10. Great pick for business travelers or chill beach escapes alike! 😌✨

DdecdingHere's another 'small but perfectly formed' place, exceeding my expectations – I actually had the best night's sleep here! 1. After exiting the subway, just keep following the 'VIP Building' (or Plaza Premium Lounge) signs. (Odd that the other two hotels have their names displayed, but Aerotel doesn't, though at least they're all in the same general direction.) 2. I chose a room without a private bathroom, but the communal bathroom wasn't far from my room. I went twice, once in the morning and once at night, for washing and using the toilet, and didn't encounter anyone else. It actually felt a bit like being at home, just stepping out of the room to use the facilities. The room itself isn't big, and the AC control panel is on the ceiling. It has a TV, hangers, and a kettle – everything you need. The window is sealed, but once the AC is on, it doesn't feel stuffy at all; the air feels circulated. 3. If you want a good night's sleep, you definitely need to pull the curtains all the way down. Since I arrived at night, it felt quite dark. To avoid oversleeping, I only pulled them halfway. The next morning, I vaguely heard/dreamt of the sound of rain (or was it someone dragging luggage?). I opened my eyes, and the sunlight was streaming in, making the room so bright! 4. Exiting the room, there's a dedicated security channel, which is super convenient and leads directly past security. BUT! It's quite a trek from the VIP lounge. I walked a long way to V2 to eat some mackerel dumplings, and then after eating, I walked back to the boarding gate… Note: From the subway to the VIP Building/Plaza Premium Lounge is on the first floor. You can print your boarding pass here, then take the elevator next to it up to the third floor to check in. Before boarding, my boarding code wouldn't scan, so I had to go back from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor to print my boarding pass, and then back to the 3rd floor for security. But overall, it was all pretty quick!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in Jinan Gaoxin Wanda Plaza. You enter through Y1 gate and take the hotel's dedicated elevators (4 or 5) to the 19th-floor reception for check-in. The hotel is directly across from Shandong Energy Group, making it one of the closest hotels to it. The three reception staff were warm, generous, and provided excellent service. The room was clean and hygienic, and being on a high floor, it was very quiet at night. Breakfast, also on the 19th floor, was very rich and plentiful.
