The hotel's location is quite perfect. It is right at the border of Lijiang old town such that you just need to step outside to start exploration but it is also quiet to escape the busy streets for a good night's rest. Also, I'm a sucker for dumplings and there are some really nice places to get them in the direct vicinity. The people welcomed us with some tea and happily answered all of our questions about where to go and what to do. And the room... we felt quite tempted to just ignore the city and stay in our bathtub or just sit on our lovely balcony. TLDR: definitely worth visiting=)

Extremely good accommodation within the Dukezong Old Town. The owners are extremely friendly and kind towards us. They pick us up from the front gate to their hotel and back once we left too. Managed to help us book a bus ticket as well as secured a scooter for use around town. Rooms were very big and new, very well suited for long stay. Highly recommended!

Lobby is on level 6. Location easy to find. Didi from airport to hotel around 55rmb. Less then 10 mins walk to Nan Ping Food Street. Beside hotel is a small mall. Along the main road with many malls. Breakfast selection is good. Staffs are friendly & helpful. Very clean hotel. Trendy design. All toiletries provided. Good stay!

The staff here are really very nice! We arrived at the hotel at almost 10pm as we were travelling in from Dali, and after checking us in, they brought us to try the Yak Butter Tea (i hope i got it correct) even though it was so late. They were also nice enough to help us carry our heavy luggages to our room, as there's no lift. While the room we booked stated ”Mountain View”, the room we got faced the road outside with definitely no mountain view. So we enquired and was told that all rooms had no moutain view, and had to go to the rooftop (5th floor) to experience it. Nonethless, the view at the rooftop is lovely! And there's several of the staff's pets (i'm guessing) roaming around the rooftop area :) The room itself was huge, beds were huge and comfy as well. There's a voice assistant system in the room as well called ”Xiaobao”. But i guess as we were foreigners and perhaps our accents were different, we could not utilise Xiaobao, which was quite hilarious but thank goodness there's still manual controls in the room. For any housekeeping requests or questions, it's through wechat which was extremely convenient and they are very responsive even in the wee hours of the morning. There's a few smaller convenience stores around the hotel, and saw some bars but sadly did not have enough time to explore. This hotel is not situated at the main road, but it's just a short 3 min walk till there as some of the bigger vehicles may not be able to enter the small lane where the hotel is at (8-9 seater is still possible). Will definitely come and stay here again if I'm ever back in the area!

This is a well priced option in the city. It is about a 20-minute walk from the main Kunming railway station, so for those arriving at Kunming airport late when the metro has stopped running, you can take the airport bus to the railway station and walk to the hotel. The hotel is also a short 5 min walk away from the nearest metro station Tangzixiang, which is a convenient interchange station. There are only a few food options near the hotel but a walk to the Tangzixiang area throws up more. No amenities like a pool etc - typical of an Ibis but for the price paid, no complaints. Did not tru their breakfast so cannot comment. Night front desk staff can be a little rushed despite being professional.

Great location. Just 5-10mins walking distance from Kunming train station from north exit. Easy to local the hotel. We booked 2 rooms and got upgraded. Both rooms are clean and spacious. Good breakfast as well. Will definitely stay again.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, we knew the location was excellent so close to the train station. But the rooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained, with all the amenities you need, including a fridge which we found to be rare in our travels and laundy room! We had a room with a terrace (also rare) and loved being able to unwind outside overlooking the restraint area, which is very picturesque. Staff were friendly and professional. he meal we had at the restaurant was excellent. Absolutely recommend this hotel, one of the best we stayed in during our 3 week trip in China.

Amazing stay from start to finish! All the staff were always available and attentive to any needs, they even helped me plan trips to local attractions and get tickets. Also a great location within old town Lijiang but still quiet at night. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lijiang.

There is no air conditioning in the room as the area in Shangri-La generally is colder. There is heater and the blanket also have heating capability. The flow rate in the bathroom was great, constant warmed water. There is many shows available on the tv set.

We loved it. The room was beautifully designed and well equipped, very quiet and equipped with all kinds of amenities you could wish for. The staff was also lovely and friendly. There is a (DIY) laundry available in-house whhixh we used and much appreciated. The location is great thanks to the fact that there is the railway station as well as metro and restaurant and cafés nearby. The ‚17coffee‘ was amazing (: Note: The name of hotel is different from what it is called on Trip.com but the address is correct. The name is Wonder Land. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended.

Not just the nice aesthetics of the Inn and the view of the upper level rooms, the hosts are extremely hospitable! 超哥 helped us to arrange transport of our luggages to the 客栈 as it was too painful to drag our heavy luggages on the stone pebbled floors. He also kindly helped us to book local tours to Yulong Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge - look for them for the tours as prices are cheaper and more value for money. One of the host even woke up at 6am just to make sure his customers and us manage to get to the right tour group. 超哥 also invited us to join his crew for bbq dinner on one of the nights. Everyone is so very friendly. Room is very clean. He even gave us a free upgrade on our first night and the room was beautiful. Has a private bathtub and private balcony overlooking the ancient village. One of the best homestay inn ever! I highly recommend this place if you are coming to Lijiang.

Stayed here 2 times… Best feature - in the ancient town but near the entrance. So don’t need to drag your luggage through the cobblestone streets. Also quieter at night. Near the South Gate. Restaurant opposite the homestay is awesome! Had a 3 person room the first time, big screen Projector as TV. When we return to stay the 2nd time, messed up our bookings where there wasn’t enough beds…decided to stay in a 2 bed room as we are only staying for the night. Bit of a squeeze. Haha.

This time I stayed at Youyue B&B with my family for three nights. The experience was very good. The boss was very considerate and responsible. He would pick us up at the intersection to go to the B&B. The room facilities were complete and the boss introduced them in detail. When I asked the boss where to go, he would also tell me patiently. The service attitude was good and the environment was clean. There was a big dog in the yard, which was very cute, and there was a slide for children to play. Overall, I was very satisfied and recommended it to everyone.

Me and friends chose this guest house as our last stay in Lijiang. We just came back from our Shangrila and Yading trip. We fell in love with the place. We should’ve stay for more days here. The room is perfect. They have everything you need. The bathtub, washing machine, comfortable bed even give you breakfast and fruits. The owner is really really nice and very down to earth. One of the brother (big brother) also very funny, will always give you his biggest smile. His laugh is indeed contagious. Even though we only stay for one night, the service is really top notch. They will help with your luggage when you are check in and out. I highly recommend this stay for foreigner like us, because the brothers are really nicest people that I know in Lijiang. They are very genuine and kind. They also run a tea shop next door and grow their own tea! How cool is that! Highly recommend this guest house when you’re staying in Lijiang. The place is close to old town gate. Easy to get didi. Just walk within 5 min to the main road (near Intercontinental hotel). Thank you brothers! I will see you again when I come to Lijiang!

I booked this hotel for my 3 nights trip with my friends at Lijiang. The hotel located just few walks away from Gucheng (old town) entrance. The receptionists are very welcoming and nice to us. The room exactly as advertised, very clean and modern, and we were offered with welcome fruits at front desk. We are very thankful for the young men workers who helped us carry our luggages down the stairs when we’re checking out early in the morning at 6.30am. Thank you for amazing service. Overall we enjoyed our stay here!

This homestay was great. The location is perfect to be both near the main road in case you need to get a didi or explore outside the old town, but also perfect to explore the old town itself. The bed was okay, the pillows are not very comfortable. It's quite clean, the only two things we found were a grape behind the bathroom door and the drain of the shower was clogged so the water was overflowing, we cleaned it ourselves. Overall, it's clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. Also, the room with the round bathtub doesn't have a bathroom door, just a curtain, but the one without tub does have a door, so keep that in mind when choosing your room.

Housekeeping team are all very friendly, they are always smiling and welcoming us, also the receptionist guy who checked us in was very helpful, offered us luggage assistance. Security was very attentive too! Other than that, the rest of them are all rude lack of training horrible service! Especially the untidy uniform guy that prepared the coffee for us was super rude (standing with his hands on his hips while speaking to us impatiently and rudely) and his coffee was awful!! (Ps; we barely asked them any information however they’ll seem very annoyed)

I booked this hotel due to its proximity to Kunming Airport, just a 15-minute drive away, and the convenience of a free shuttle service provided by the hotel. With an early morning flight at 7:20 am, the location was perfect as we needed to check in 3 hours before departure, as advised by the helpful hotel staff. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of food options nearby. Although we didn't get to try the hotel breakfast, they kindly packed meals for guests rushing to catch early flights. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone with early morning flights!

Perfect for a one night stay/ short layover. Hotel is conveniently located on level 2 of the international departure hall of the airport. Room came fully equipped with basic toiletries. Comfortable beds and free WiFi is a plus. Complementary apple and snacks on arrival was welcomed :) While cleanliness could be improved a little; the corners of the room were somewhat dusty and we found stray hairs on our towel; this can be overlooked as the positives greatly outweigh this one point.

We booked this hotel mainly for its promixity to the train station, and it really did not disappoint! Just a few minutes walk away. The room itself was relatively okay, overall clean and beds comfortable, but there were weird white stains on the bedroom slippers, so we didnt use it. The walls of the room are very thin, and also there's construction happening at night nearby. However they do provide earplugs for this purpose. Another thing I was quite worried initially by was that the room's lock does not work at all. And the hotel staff said that all the locks on the room don't work because each hotel room is accesible only by its keycard. That is a minus point for me as perhaps I'm paranoid, but I'd like my locks to work and actually keep people out in the event there's a break in. We did not try the breakfast, but there's free coffee, tea and water at the lobby. Staff were friendly and welcoming overall.

A little further than I thought walking from Kunming Station, but everything else made up for it. I was greeted warmly by the ladies at the front desk, and offered drinks and candy while waiting for check in. Hotel lobby and room was clean and comfortable, the amenities gave off a fun and chic vibe. Though we stayed facing the road, there was no noise at all during the night. I must mention the helpfulness of the front desk. We arrived late at night with a toddler in tow and have not had dinner. I asked if they could help with ordering takeout from Meituan as I do not have a local China mobile number and they gladly offered to help and send the food up to my room. Overall, highly satisfied with the hotel and the warm, friendly service provided. I will definitely stay here again. Well done ladies.

The view from this hotel is amazing! You will be impressed! They also provide pickup and dropoff from the train station, which is absolutely convenient. Breakfast provided is pretty good too, I am happy to have them every morning! Owner also kindly offer guests warm milk at night, which is surprisingly nice. If you need any tour, booking or help around town, the owner is right there to assist. Will highly recommend this accommodation!

Highly recommended. Definitely will come again! We booked 3 rooms over here for 1 night. Shop owner is really very helpful, suggested us tourist spots (which is really a steal, and amazing) and even helped us arrange and book for it. (Because we didn’t do much research before coming) And allowed my bro for late check out as he had food poisoning and had to rest in room. He even went all the way to accompany us to wait for car (he booked car for us as well) when we were late for our train. 大力推荐！在这里租了三间房间。 老板人实在太好太友善了。也非常尽责，为我们安排了拉市海一日游（因为我们没做功课，没能去到玉龙雪山）。（老板推荐的也是非常可靠的，绝不坑人） 还陪我们等待车，确保我们安全。 我哥因为泻肚子，只好在房休息，老板还很宽容让他延迟出房。 下次肯定还会再入住这里。

The host and the staff are very very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to everyone for your stay in Lijiang, and we will definitely return to this hotel! The view from the rooftop is spectacular, with delicious afternoon tea and “suyoucha” testing session hosted at the rooftop. The homestay locate at a quiet and peaceful street, 15mins walking distance away from Lijiang Old Town, with a lot of eateries and convenient shops around. The staffs constantly checked on us, helping us with all of our enquiry and also our MeiTuan delivery!

Our hotel booking included a free pick-up service, which was a fantastic start to our stay. After chatting with the driver, we decided to book him for a two-day tour around Dali, which turned out to be a great decision. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Although there was no lift and our room was on the third floor, the hotel staff were very helpful in transferring our luggage both to and from our room. It seems that many accommodations in Dali don’t have lifts, so this assistance was much appreciated. We were pleasantly surprised with free gifts and desserts provided by the hotel, adding a special touch to our stay. However, the breakfast selections were only so-so and could use some improvement. The hotel’s location is another highlight. It is quite close to the old ancient city, allowing us to walk there early in the morning and take photos with minimal people around. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenient location.

I had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and modern, and the price was affordable. The male boss even sat me down for tea and we had a pleasant conversation over delicious, local tea before I went out for dinner. The location is very convenient for the nearby ancient town, a charming 40 minute stroll down to the lake (which was beautiful on a warm, Summer day) and close to many of the bus stops heading into Dali City. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff, they create an inviting, family atmosphere and are always happy to recommend attractions or places for dinner. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Dali Town.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days with my sister. They have pick up service at the railway station for free if you stayed for more than 3 days. The driver they sent was really friendly and kind, he helped us to carry our luggage to the car and give us suggestions how to go around Dali. As we checked in the hotel room, we were so impressed by the cleanliness. I also must mention that they were also very thoughtful of their guests. As their washing area is on the top floor, they provide rooftop for drying clothes. Their amenities were also great which includes body lotion, sewing kit, and ear plugs. They also had free drinks and.in the kitchen for guests. Their breakfast was very nice also.

I am very satisfied with the good facilities, hygienic environment and service. Especially the sea view room is in a very good location. It is worth recommending!

This B&B is really great! As soon as you enter the door, you will be surrounded by a warm atmosphere, as if you are back home~ 🏠 The location of the B&B is really great, with convenient transportation and many delicious and fun places around! Whether it is shopping or checking in at scenic spots, it is very convenient~ 🚇🛍️ The room is very exquisitely decorated, and every detail reveals the owner's care. The bed is super comfortable, and there is a large floor-to-ceiling window. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the beautiful scenery, and your mood will instantly become better! 🌅 The sanitary conditions are also great! Every corner is cleaned cleanly, there is no odor at all, and it is very safe to use~ 👍 The owner of the B&B is super enthusiastic and gave us a lot of practical travel suggestions. He also helped us prepare a local food map, which is super considerate~ 🥰💕 In general, the experience in this B&B this time is really great! Environment: The room is exactly the same as the picture, the sea view is unbeatable, and it feels like Erhai Lake is next to the bed. Hygiene: No problem, everything is clean. Facilities: The glass door of the bathroom leaks easily, but other things are fine Service: The boss seems to be a local, not talking much but always responsive, and gave a box of flower cakes before leaving. Location: Haidong, about ten minutes drive from Shuanglang Ancient Town. It is not a prosperous area, but the sea is wide, and seagulls occasionally fly over, which is suitable for friends who like quiet and bad. In general, the sea view room of more than 600 yuan is quite satisfactory during the National Day.

Listen to the autumn rain in the small building all night, and see the yellow apricots in the deep alleys tomorrow morning, hehe. The ginkgo trees in Dali are starting to turn yellow in autumn. Listening to the ancient rhyme and eating breakfast, it seemed to travel through a thousand years in an instant. If it is really possible, I want to see the heyday of the Tang Dynasty, hahahaha.
