2-Star Hotels in Inner Mongolia, China

The hotel is about 4 kilometers away from the highway. The hotel is very convenient for parking and dining. There is a gas station more than 100 meters away from the hotel, so it is a good choice to take a break as a self-driving tour. In addition, hotel services and facilities are also good.

Traveling solo, I arrived too late at the Inner Mongolia Museum to even glance around, so I booked another night to rest. The guesthouse is more of an apartment-style stay. The actual hotel is through a glass door next to where you check in, then you take an elevator to your floor. (The property security is to the right as you enter.) I found the hygiene to be quite average; I even saw a cockroach after waking up in the middle of the night. The facilities are complete with air conditioning, a washing machine, and a refrigerator. There's a water heater for showers, but the water turns cold after a while, so you need to mind your shower time. There were some construction materials piled up outside the door of my room, causing a slight odor.

The service is okay for the price, but its location is very convenient as it’s located near the city centre and near the subway entrance.

The hotel is located right by the main road, but its entrance is easy to miss if you're not paying close attention. The main door opens to a ground-floor corridor, and all the rooms are on the second and third floors, with no elevator. Breakfast is not provided, and there's no on-site restaurant, so guests will need to dine at nearby eateries. This place is suitable for families looking for an economical stay. It's worth noting that hotel prices in Inner Mongolia's tourist areas fluctuate wildly; the difference between off-peak and peak seasons is enormous, often two or three times higher.

My stay at the Baochen Express Hotel was absolutely fantastic! ✅Hygiene: The room was meticulously cleaned, the bedding was spotless and odor-free, the bathroom was clean and dry, and the public areas were immaculate. ✅Service: The front desk staff were warm and efficient, and all the employees were attentive and polite. Requests were handled promptly. ✅Facilities: The in-room equipment was in perfect working order, the bathroom had excellent water pressure, and all amenities were comprehensive and functional. ✅Environment: The hotel itself was quiet and elegant, situated in a prime location that made getting around and finding food incredibly convenient. A truly comfortable and pleasant environment. Great value for money, definitely my first choice for future trips!

Администратор предоставил другой номер, в котором было менее прокурено, благо в номере два окна и быстро все проветрили. Плюсы: красивый вид из окна, рядом в шаговой доступности куча магазинов и кафе. Гостиница маленькая нет шумных соседей. 3 лифта работают быстро. Минусы: Очень высокий порог в туалете, порванное постельное белье, за 9 суток проживания ни разу не убирались и не меняли полотенца, туалетную бумагу, все зубные щетки и пасты, шампуни покупали сами. Заселяются практически граждане КНР, которые очень много курят. Не работают кондиционеры.

I spent several nights at this hotel and can only highly recommend it. The location is fantastic, it was just steps away from the metro and numerous bus stops, making it incredibly easy to get around. It's also very close to the Dazhao Temple and the Five Pagodas, which was a real bonus for exploring the local heritage without wasting time in transit. I chose to book an apartment style hotel room, and it was such a great decision. After weeks of hopping between one-night hotel stays, I really needed a place to settle down, and this spacious, quiet apartment was exactly what I needed. It was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. The service was flawless. The staff were highly responsive over the phone, available day and night. A huge thank you to the team for taking the time to help me ship my packages, that kind of attention really meant a lot to me. Little touches made all the difference: fresh bottles of water were provided every day, and the trash was taken out daily as well. Honestly, everything was just perfect. Just a helpful tip : don't make my mistake! When you arrive, make sure to go to Building A. As you enter the main hall, it's on the left. there's a big sign clearly indicating it. Same goes for when you order on *******: be sure to specify Building A in your delivery address. Otherwise, your order will end up in the building next door (not far, but you'll have to switch elevators). In short, if I ever come back to the area, I will definitely stay here again. A comfortable stay in a great location, the yurts are located just a ten minute walk away from the ticket counter for the Dalinuoer Lake Scenic Area. It's a pretty small town, so it's also close to pretty much every restaurant. The boss is also very friendly, he answered all my questions and helped me with finding transportation. The conditions of the yurt are actually quite good, there's a heating/air conditioning unit, which I used to keep cozy at night, and a full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, hot water etc.). There's also a TV, a variety of charging cables, and free WiFi. The bed is massive, very comfortable and able to fit a family. Body wash, shampoo, hairdryer, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. For those who may be concerned about such things, it may be useful to note that the door locks from the inside using a deadbolt, and when you leave your yurt for the day you lock it from the outside with a padlock as there's no electronic lock or keycard. It didn't bother me and since the town is very small, I felt pretty safe. As for cleanliness, for what it is (essentially a semi-permanent tent in the rural grasslands) it's very clean. There are vinyl floors and clean sheets, everything seems well maintained. Sometimes little critters like moths fly in, but this is glamping. Of course you shouldn't expect the same type of environment as a regular five star hotel. Overall I had a wonderful experience here! Felt connected to nature while still enjoying my creature comforts.
