3-Star Hotels in Saarland, Germany

This is just a budget hotel near the train station. I arrived on a rainy night and was too tired to argue with the front desk. The air conditioning was noisy, and the heating wasn't effective. I ended up sleeping under two duvets. Facilities: I booked a king-size bed room, but was told that here, a king-size bed is just two twin beds pushed together. Fine, who can I complain to about that? 🤷 Service: They were friendly, but not very helpful. Breakfast: Let's just say you can fill up on bread. Everything was pretty mediocre, but its proximity to the train station is its biggest advantage. If you stay here, make sure to stand up for your rights! And make sure you get a warm room; don't compromise like I did. 😂 The hotel offers luggage storage. There are no cups in the room, but you can get a cup for hot water at the downstairs breakfast area. I asked the staff, and they said I could take the cup back to my room.

Good Facilities, But Service Was Incredibly Disappointing The living conditions and amenities are good, but the service I received was a major disappointment and completely disrupted my plans. This is why I feel my spending of time and money was a waste, which is reflected in my low rating. My problems started with the check-in. I completed the online check-in successfully, but I could not get my access code. I was forced to wait for over an hour at the train station while trying to resolve this. I was stuck in a frustrating loop with a chatbot that kept insisting the code was in my booking details (it was not). Only after I finally managed to reach a real person was the access code sent to me. To make matters worse, I was then informed that a serviceman would need to enter my room for repairs the next day between 10 AM and 2 PM. I was shocked by this, especially since I had an important work video call scheduled for that exact time. This forced me to find a quiet café to work from, leading to additional expenses. My rating for service and confidentiality is very low. The lack of communication and respect for a guest's privacy and schedule is unacceptable.

There are quite a lot of rooms in this hotel, which can be said to be the largest hotel in this town. The heating in the room is very warm. The room I live in also has a microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, and everything. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, except for potato cakes and scrambled eggs are hot food, the rest are cold food. The front desk girls can speak English and there is no problem communicating. The cleaning staff can speak German. I like the glass windows of the hotel very much. It is the kind of typical German open window and the ventilation is great. The surrounding area is quite convenient. Go left and there are some shopping malls and small stores. Except that the breakfast is slightly monotonous, everything else is fine.

Super friendly staff. Rooms are pretty big and in a good condition. Everything seemed luxurious. Also it was a LGBTQIA+ Friendly Hotel :). I can only recommend it

I recently stayed at this simple, functional hotel. The location was its biggest strength. It is just a short distance from the French border and convenient for getting into the Saarland. The hotel itself is exactly what you'd expect from a basic spot. The room is clean and comfortable with great bed. One minor element is the busy noisy road.

Delightful welcome - made to feel at ease. Spotless room with balcony: plenty of space. Bottle of water waiting.  The nearest thing to a niggle is that I prefer a hard mattress, but I realise that I am in a minority… Superb breakfast - as good as any I have enjoyed.

Decent hotel and great location if you are hiking the Saar Hunsrück trail. The sign in the entrance hall with the penalty for preparing food in the room scared me a little as I didn't know what it precisely meant, it is good to ask the owner.

Easy to reach , the room is very clean and quiet ,the service at the check in counter is excellent, breakfast is good, 👍👍

Perfect modern hotel for night stay, just next to the highway.  No restaurant for dinner, but in the immediate surroundings, either over the road to the Brauhaus, with food cafe dishes and, among other things, self-bringed beer.  A great breakfast buffet in the hotel.

Komfortables Hotel direkt in der Innenstadt nahe des Saar-Park-Centers. Die Zimmer verteilen sich aiuf fünf Etagen und sind gemütlich eingerichtet. Ein kleiner Wasserkocher sowie Tee und löslicher Kaffee sind allerdings die einzigen Annehmlichkeiten. Leider gibt es keine Wasserspender auf der Etage oder die Möglichkeit, im Zimmer Getränke zu kühlen. In der Lobby befindet sich eine kleine Bar, nebenan der knapp bemessene Frühstücksraum. Das Buffet ist europäischer Standard mit nur wenig Auswahl an warmen Speisen.
