TTeacher HarryA 5-minute walk from the train station. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Nice natural light.
There are many local attractions close by. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants. There are shops in the area that seem to be frequented by local people; they are not necessarily tourist oriented places with junky souvenirs.
10/10 would recommend.

OOzzpomThis was a wonderful stay. The location was great, very close to a supermarket as well as a petrol station. The very first night they recommended a fantastic local bistro. We had a wonderful meal. The room was clean, it was lovely and cool. The AC was very, very welcome because we were here during quite the heatwave. Yes okay it's summer but, oh my god, 35 degrees Celsius is a lot to deal with. Didier and Lara were incredibly welcoming. The breakfasts were utterly incredible. We felt incredibly spoiled. We had delicious, fresh pastries. We had beautiful yoghourts. We had lovely fruit purées. We had poached eggs. Nothing was too much trouble. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. The pink grapefruit juice was freshly squeezed. It was really really delicious!
What was really nice is that we stayed for three nights. What was really lovely was that we'd come back each day and our room had been tidied and the beds had been made. We had always turned off the air conditioning so it was really nice to come home to our accommodation. The AC was on so the room was already lovely and cool by the time we got in.
I would happily stay there again. Wonderful host, friendly, not in your face, just really really welcoming, and we would absolutely stay there again.

GGuest UserIf you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley.
Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!!
We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us.
Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady.
Just go. Dont hesitate.

GGuest UserThe front desk of the hotel guided me to the room, explained the place where the card key was inserted, and the door leading to the outside corridor was very kind. The special feeling from there was very good. The first floor of the hotel was a restaurant, and there were not many restaurants at night, so it was nice to be able to eat. The location of the hotel is also easy to understand.

JJames DobleJust spent a night at the ibis Alençon right in the town centre on Place Auguste Poulet-Malassis. Perfect location — you can walk everywhere: the beautiful basilica is 4 minutes away, shops, restaurants and the Halle au Blé market square are on your doorstep, and the train station is only a 10-minute stroll.
The room was typical ibis: compact but well-designed, with a really comfortable bed that gave me an excellent night’s sleep. Laminate flooring felt cleaner than old carpet, the bathroom was functional with good hot water and powerful shower. Free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.
Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful — the night receptionist even went out of her way when we had a minor issue. Breakfast is a highlight: fresh scrambled eggs and sausages cooked to order, decent selection of pastries, fruit and cheese. Good value for the price.

HHPzaiciThe hotel is located in an alley on the edge of a commercial area in town, and the free parking is a huge plus. The room was clean and tidy, just a bit small. Otherwise, everything else was pretty good. There's a supermarket nearby too.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at this property! The room was incredibly comfortable and pleasantly cool, which was a huge relief given how hot the weather was in France. It was also very spacious, and having a fully equipped kitchen allowed the two of us to cook our own meals easily.
The location is excellent—there is free parking on-site, and it’s only take 15-minute drive to Mont Saint-Michel. It’s also very convenient for day trips, taking just over an hour to drive to Cancale and St. Malo, and there’s a convenience store only a 10-minute drive away.
On top of that, the beautiful swimming pool and peaceful surroundings made our stay even better. The self-check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, which we highly appreciated since we arrived quite late that day. Highly recommended!

This morning, a strange man entered our room, as if by mistake; we don't know how he opened the door!
There are no glasses, kettle, slippers, or napkins in the room.
I had a cold and needed hot water for my medication. One staff member was fine; he told me to fill it up from the coffee machine. Then, another night, another staff member rushed up to me and said that water wasn't allowed and that it was only for breakfast.
The breakfasts were okay, typical for a small hotel.

JJulik BonnThe reception and my hotel room were like 200 M away from each other. In the afternoon, the path is crowded by tourists visiting the Mont-St-Michel Abbey, which makes your walk to your room not so easy. However, since your hotel is on the island, you can enjoy the walk through Mont-St-Michel in the night or early morning, when there are almost no tourists.
