I travelled with my family. I will just say that everything was fine and perfect. Kids really enjoyed their one night stay a lot. Staff was really nice and helpful.

The location is amazing,very safe place and 1 minute walk distance to most popular avenue.Rooms are extra clean and luxury.I will definitely visit this place again as we enjoyed king room as a couple,however day shift reception staff were not happy to work as it was obvious from their behaviour, no welcoming, we entered the hotel and negatively they asked our IDs. No information given, no bellboy offered, and when we entered the reception they didn't even ask or tell anything as i told them that we had reservation.So nothing asked like 'how can i help you?' In this kind of quality hotels i wasn't expecting this.Moreover,they didn't even tell us our floor so i guessed it from the number on our card! During their shift all they did were staring at us badly when we were going in and out.Housekeeping lady were much more positive and helpful.After we checked in to our room approximately 30 minutes passed and i couldn't connect to wi-fi so i called reception and what they told me was they didn't start our check-in procedure into system so i should wait to connect wi-fi, what i mean here is we didn't see any guests checking in , hotel was not crowded and of course i thought that after they got our info and let us go to room of course check-in procedure should finish but what i heard was they didn't even start it. Another thing i should add here is , our room wasn't prepared for us as it had no complimentary water, no shampoo/shower gel, no towels. Thanksfully housekeeping lady found it out and brought us everything after half an hour passed from our checkin, i guess again it's receptionists mistake.Night time staff in the reception were much better and positive.Apart from that it is well located,close to embassies and attractions,well equipped rooms with real luxury and high tech.Enjoyed every minute of our stay in the room and the view as well! Already recommended to friends who will visit Ankara.

From the moment we entered the hotel, friendly and warm-hearted dear friends accompanied us to our room. When we entered the room, it was more comfortable and cleaner than many 5-star hotels, and the jacuzzi in the room was a really excellent activity for you to spend your time better. In general, we liked it. When we come to Ankara again, I will definitely choose this place. I will recommend it to my circle. We thank you for everything .

When I enquired how to arrive at the hotel from the airport I received a helpful reply on how to take a bus or taxi. Then when I got there I had a nice welcome. I liked my single room which was cosy and located on the corner of the building - lots of light and a balcony overlooking the impressive mosque opposite. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of toiletries in the newly renovated little shower room. The gentleman at reception provided a hairdryer. I stayed for three nights and slept well. Each member of staff I met was friendly and welcoming. Thank you all for a enjoyable visit to Ankara.

I stayed at the hotel for a night. It is close to the Red Square, perfect. Many restaurants and cafes are at the distance. The rooms are very clean, the room has a kettle and tea/cafe bonus. The workers are very interested and kind. There is everything to think about at breakfast. They have prepared like a open buffet but those working in the body's protection are serving themselves. Rooms are a little small and bottom-up but if you stay a few days and you don't spend a lot of time in the room, it's definitely an ideal choice. Thank you very much for everything.

I often travel to various countries, but the first time I came to Ankara, there are fewer Chinese here, so I also took time to find a hotel. This hotel is quite cost-effective, in the city center, and the house is very clean. The whole is similar to the domestic season and home selection.

All in all a standard 3* hotel with more cons than pros. Pros: Soundproof rooms Good location to grab some food in the evening Clean towels The staff is friendly as long as there are no questions or tensions Cons: Sometimes noisy outside, which, combined with the next point is annoying Bad conditioning, hence need to open windows Hot water not always available (only warm sometimes - fine to take a shower, but nothing more) Had a hole in the linen (although clean - no stains or anything) Average breakfast Bad internet and no-one could help me with it Very small rooms - no even table to work at Finally, it is ok for a couple of nights stay but if you want something cozy and comfortable - better look elsewhere.

I booked Lion City Hotel Kizilay for my parents for three nights and they were very happy. Staff were helpful, rooms were clean and breakfast was perfect. Hotel is ideally located in downtown Ankara but in a quiet street. There are lots of shops and restaurants in a walking distance. My parents took the airport bus for 20TL each and got off in the last stop in GuvenPark. From Guvenpark to this hotel is 7 minute walk. Apparently, there are two buses from the airport with the same number but for different directions. Ask which one goes to Guvenpark in KIZILAY. Hotel reception can call you a taxi if you want to visit anywhere in Ankara. Lion City Hotel has another branch in the north of Ankara. This review is for their branch in Kizilay.

I was in Ankara for a week on business at the Days Hotel. This is my honest review. Just I add that for some reason this hotel is ‘by Wyndham’ but the one week point collection stay was not added to my Wyndham rewards membership for some reason unknown to me. Most of the men working at the front desk and breakfast area are smokers. They stand in front of the main entrance smoking and when they walk into the lobby it smells like cigarette smoke. I stayed in Room 306 for a week. The first 2 days, the same song was on repeat in the entire general area and restaurant of the hotel. Butterfly by Maria & Whitney. They might need a new ‘hotel dj”. They did change this after I mentioned it to the lady at reception. Gizem at reception is amazing. She was very helpful with arranging transport, check-in and tourist information. At breakfast there is a fresh open buffet with an Automatic Coffee machine, the machine makes nasty instant bitter coffee and since the day I arrived it was not serviced, I asked the man and lady at the breakfast area why there is no hot chocolate and they said the service man doesn’t show up. That coffee machine needs maintenance service but no one seems to care. The servers offer filter coffee but I prefer and expected a Wyndham group hotel to have espresso type coffees. The butter in the buffet corner sits outside in room temperature without any kind of cooling. As stated on the label, the maximum temperature it should be stored at is 4 Celsius. The breakfast room temperature is about 20 Celsius. The breakfast overall is traditional Mediterranean buffet. It is acceptable for this business hotel. Yeter, the cleaning lady was very intelligent and had common sense. She even organized my cosmetics. The bed, towels and sheets are lovely clean and in good condition. The TV does not have screen casting and barely any English channels so if you want to watch Netflix bring your own HDMI cable and laptop. If you get lucky the WiFi in the hotel room might work. The Wi-fi at this hotel is unstable. As you can see in the photos, you enter your ID # and room #. I had to do this 5-6 times while getting cut off every 2-3 hours each day. In the evenings the wifi is very weak, impossible to have international video calls. At night after 12 the internet connection is completely cut off. I had trouble conducting video calls with the USA and Portugal. Yalin at the night shift reception could not help as he said the internet service man is not available so he could not fix the wifi problem. The reception & lobby (work area) has a completely different wifi system. Obviously the internet gateway company is not good. The Days Hotel claims to be a business hotel but I was disappointed with this wifi internet hassle every day and every night. You can not depend on this hotel for Wifi and internet reliability. The best points were the excellent room with the comfortable bed and the prime location.

Really good cheaper hotel with friendly and accommodating bilingual staff. 24 hour bar was cool for when I was still awake, decently priced drinks and food. Food was very delicious and tasted very fresh. Room was always immaculate and the TV had plenty of english options. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. Very close to the air port with cheap taxi service.
