I loved staying at this hotel! Having the station so close was fantastic. The double room with a private bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. You can tell the bathrooms are a bit dated, but for a two-night stay, I have no complaints.

Wonderful location, room size just nice, toilet size is ok too,, near supermarkets, convenience store, restaurants n subways n translation, front desk guy was very friendly n good service. Price is ok too. Highly recommended to stay there. My room has a balcony too which u can access easily.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The hotel looks so chic and the staff are very friendly. You can ask them to borrow a lock for the locker in the room. They provide hairdryer, handsoap, hair shampoo and shower gel as well. My only complaint is that the kitchen is open from 9am-11pm. We normally wake up at 6-7am to have breakfast so this is a bit inconvenient. The area is also quite safe at night. Highly recommend!

The staff were incredibly friendly! The only downside was the lack of an elevator, but since it's only 4 floors maximum, it wasn't a problem. Getting there from the airport or central station late in the evening was also hassle-free. All the main attractions like Grand Place and Manneken Pis were just a 10-minute walk away. The location is absolutely perfect! Many thanks to the wonderful staff!

I did a late check-in. The reception is open 24 hours so I was able to check in with peace of mind. It was hard to work at night so as not to disturb other guests. There are no curtains for the beds. There is a bathroom and toilet in one room.

Good location in the historic city centre, friendly 24-hour reception that makes the whole facility feels safe. However, would be much better if the beds have their own curtains.

Overall, the stay was not too bad. If not for some inconveniences, I would have rated this hostel better. First, the nearest Metro exit was under renovation. As a result, I need to detour quite a fair bit to get into the Metro station. It is ok without luggage, but with luggage, it is much more challenging with cobblestone road. Second, this is the first hostel which I paid for twin room and was not provided with towel. While my app stated that the towel is included, the receptionist told me that I need to pay to rent the towel. A bit disappointed. Thankfully, I have my own beach towel.

Location is good, walking distance to Lidl supermarket, the reception is nice and polite. The cleaning lady is very kind and professional. Will come back again if I go to Brussels

Hotel Le Grand Colombier was a simple and fairly basic place to stay. The location is tucked away, which made it nice and quiet, but unfortunately it was a bit too far from the train station to be convenient, so I wouldn’t really recommend it if you need easy access to transport. The facilities and overall style of the hotel were on the modest side, nothing fancy, but it did the job for a short stay. The real highlight was the staff, who were absolutely lovely, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience much nicer overall.

For us, Brussels is only interesting in the square area. In other aspects, because we drive an RV, we need a parking area with RV equipment. It is best to be closer to the city center and leave after visiting the square. This youth hostel meets our needs, but there are limited parking spaces for RVs. Fortunately, the beds in the youth hostel are not expensive, and the two ladies in the same room are also very qualified. The breakfast is really great. It is a 20-minute walk from the square and 1.7 kilometers away. The hotel has parking. It’s free, and it’s rare to have both in the city center of Brussels where there are many Muslims.
