3-Star Hotels in Ningxia, China

We stayed at Shenhua Hotel again after our trip to Zhongwei. We booked a triple room, which featured a master bedroom and a smaller second bedroom. The smaller room didn't have AC, but with the recent mild evenings, it wasn't an issue at all. The service here is also top-notch: the buffet breakfast on the second floor was plentiful, offering not just standard fare but also a noodle station and freshly ground coffee. What truly surprised us was the presence of a well-equipped laundry room (as pictured) – it felt like a branded hotel chain such as Huazhu or Home Inn, just without the prominent branding. While parking can be a bit limited, there's usually an attendant to help guide you. You can also request the hotel to reserve a spot beforehand. If all hotel parking is taken, there's street parking just 50 meters away, and the hotel will reimburse the fees. As for its prime location: it's just a hundred meters from Gulou Pedestrian Street, right in the Yuhuangge area. This means you're surrounded by fantastic local eateries (like Lao Mao Shou Zhua, Tongxin Chun, etc.), which we found to be more authentic and reliable than some of the 'internet-famous' spots nearby (though there are plenty of those too!). There's also a vibrant night market at the end of the street, where the Xinjiang kebabs are absolutely delicious, and you can find a great selection of other local Ningxia specialties. All in all, it's incredibly convenient. It will definitely be my first choice when I visit Ningxia again. It's the kind of place where you can save your budget for experiences like the Zhongwei desert, making it a true hidden gem. Oh, and they even provide a complimentary welcome fruit platter!

The room is clean and comfortable, the front desk service is very intimate, meets the demands, it is worth coming again! Open the curtains to see the spectacular Helan Mountain view, the heating in the northern winter is very good.

My recent stay at YINQUAN Hotel was a pleasant surprise that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, the hotel’s charm and attention to detail set the tone for a memorable experience.

A courtyard-style hotel, each room has a small courtyard, making your stay very comfortable! Very distinctive! The hotel is hygienic and clean! Full of details and very user-friendly. The bedding is comfortable, the breakfast is rich and delicious, and parking is convenient. It can be reached on foot from Confucius Mansion and Confucius Temple. There is a small section of narrow road in the city wall, but it does not affect passing cars. The front desk service is very good and there are souvenirs given. recommend!

The bathroom had state of the art facilities. The room was comfortable and well designed. Having a translucent window worked well for me as the room was quiet. The front office and housekeeping staff were competent and polite. Location is superb. It's on the corner of the Gulou Pedestrian Mall and Xinhua Road. Only the tinu lobby is on the ground floor and the exact entry is not evident. Look for the overhead crossing, the escalators and the Sony shop. There are many places to eat: on the mall, off the mall and all the small lanes.

Great stay experience. I thought the new hotel would have a decoration smell, but there was no odor the whole time. The room is fully intelligent, and the neon night view from the high-rise floor-to-ceiling windows offers a panoramic view of the beautiful city. I took a few beautiful photos right away. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, and the bedding feels very skin-friendly. The minibar is equipped with free orange sugar and tea bags, and the orange-scented toiletries set in the bathroom makes you relax instantly and wash comfortably. The breakfast was also beyond my expectation with Western baked goods + local snacks. I ate so much that I didn’t leave until I was full. From the hardware facilities to the accommodation experience, the price-performance ratio is ceiling. I will definitely bring my family to experience it again next time.

Hygienic: There are urine stains on the toilet that have not been cleaned up, and the nozzle is in another space, which is not very good for flushing to the toilet. There is still hair on the bedside table. Environment: The space on the sofa and table is damp and has a damp smell, but it is not very smelly in the bed position. If the health is good or the hotel is very cost-effective, it is very close to the highway entrance and exit, quite suitable as a city for transit accommodation, the room is also very large.

Facilities: Okay, there's a large TV, a small sofa, and the bed is comfortable to sleep in, but the bathroom is a bit small. Cleanliness: Average, there were moth flies in the bathroom. Environment: Okay, but one drawback is the sound of running water above the entrance; it's not noticeable during the day, but very loud when you're sleeping. Service: Pretty good. They gave us a welcome fruit platter the first time we checked in, but not again for extended stays; the breakfast was also decent.

The soundproofing is really disappointing. The sound of dragging stools continued until 11pm, and started again at 7:30am. I kept wondering where the sound came from, and only found out during breakfast that it was the stools in the restaurant. They were big and heavy, and the loud and loud sound of dragging stools kept coming and going for several hours without interruption. Another thing is that the design of the lighting control panel in the room is really not friendly to people with poor sleep quality. It stays on all night and cannot be turned off. The business suite which costs over one thousand yuan a night does not meet the expectation. I hope the hotel can improve the sound insulation and adjust the design of the bedside light panel.
