Halfway up the mountain in the Douro Valley, it is a Portuguese villa with beautiful gardens and pools overlooking the Douro River, and the service and breakfast are very good. It is an ideal way to experience the pastoral life of Portugal.

Very clean and beautiful homestay with wine and olive oil from your own home. The environment is invincible, located on the hillside in the vineyard, the breakfast is delicious, suitable for rest during the trip

Dreamy hotel and park. Friendly staff and very well maintained. Breakfast was good as well.
It’s a wonderful experience to stay there for a few days. Interior of the regular cabin could be improved design-wise but it’s not really a negative.

GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful with the mix of old and new architecture. Plenty of FOC parking inside the fortress(hotel) and outside. Walking distance to the town and everything you want to see in Chaves. For EV cars, there is a chargeable charging station inside the hotel’s parking.

Room is a bit outdated, but clean.
Parking is free.
Breakfast is simple but ample, come with scrambled eggs and bacon's, cornflakes and different breads.
