Nice property. Very ridge on early and late check-in and check out. Check on time is 1:00 and it is an extra $50 to check in early. Check-out time is 11:00 and can be extended to noon without a fee but beyond that it is $50. Breakfast is a little bit light with no hot foods. Great pool and water slide along with a hot tub. I had a suite, and room size was good, almost a mini condominium.

This hotel was built in 1885 with historical background according to the pictures on the wall. It would be more informative if there was a more thorough descriptions next to the pictures and become a museum like Inn. We stayed in the Superior King room with balcony, the river view was excellent. This little town is very tranquil with relaxing vibe. We loved to stay in the balcony, unfortunately, there is no any BBQ or stove for cooking here, or we would love to stay more days. There is also no sun umbrella or shaded place in the balcony, and it could be very bright and hot even during 11C in the summer. Our room is the closest to the car park, but we can’t access the stairs directly down to the car park. Instead, we had to detour in the hotel, walked the a few levels of stairs with passing two doors to the car park. There are more than a dozen of stairs in the hotel. Elderly and anyone with leg or back problems need to be aware of it. 
Our room has been renovated recently. Everything maintains in very good condition, besides of the air conditioning. The air conditioning system was connected to another three rooms in the same isle. If any of the room turns on the heater while everyone is using the cool mode, the air conditioning will be shown in error. Thanks for Meghan that she was willing to come back to the hotel for us in 5 mins even it was out of her work time. She has been very helpful and nice during our stay. She is the best front desk I have seen on this island. We were happy with our stay, even we noticed that the noisy music from the pub right under the hotel level not only on in the weekend until midnight. However, we felt that compressor next to us had been noisy all day. We only felt quiet after we turned off the bathroom ventilator, air conditioning and closed the window. There was also two washing machines and one dryer on site charging only CAD$2 for each laundry. I think this is the cheapest laundry service on the island. The last but not least is the bath towels. We can’t stand with it snowing with crushes. I would suggest people bringing their towels. And the water pressure was too weak like a garden pot watering.

We only book this hotel after we got off the ferry. We were glad that we came to this hotel when there were only a few rooms left in two hotels nearby. The room is spacious with a balcony. We can enjoy the sunset view here. The noise from the main road was a bit noisy. In the first night we had the air conditioning on, but it was a bit noisy. Then we turned it off, somehow the noise from the road was still acceptable. The service at front desk was great. We booked the room only minutes before we checked in and the check in was very smooth and quick. We extended one more night before midnight, and the transition was very easy. We can stay in the same room. The deposit can be transferred for the 2nd night by filling one more paper. The bathtub was spacious for two people, but it doesn’t have light there, so it’s a bit dim. The shampoo and shower gel given were Dove, only the tooth brush and paste were not provided. There was a TV in our room with a TV box, but we didn’t use it. As we watched our own movies on our iPad. The only downside was the breakfast provided limited choices with only sausage patty, omelettes with cheese, cereal with milk, drinks from the coffee machine and fruits. And we used the laundry on site. They charged CAD4 for washing without providing a detergent, another CAD4 for drying clothes. I think it’s overcharged. We felt safe staying in this hotel, although we didn’t ask for the room cleaning, but the cleaner still came when we were out. Nothing was found missing. Only the bathroom towels and the tissue box were replaced with new ones. The car park here is free to use, no need to reserve.

A very pleasant stay, and good value for money. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's well-maintained. The only issue is that every morning, dozens of landscape workers gather there for team training and meetings. They then congregate again to get coffee and drinks, which can be inconvenient for guests. I hope this can be improved.

The service staff is very enthusiastic and can deal with our problems in time! The room is clean and tidy, and the space is comfortable ～! ! ! If you are going to YOHO National Park, staying here is a good choice! ! ! There is also an Indian restaurant next to it. The food is delicious!

The room was comfortable, clean, and hygienic. It's close to the airport and offers a free shuttle service, which is a huge plus. The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was warm and welcoming. The overall environment is quite good, pretty standard but perfectly fine. Parking was also convenient.

I had a great experience at The Cambie Hostel Seymour. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Vancouver. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-managed. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever needed. The facilities met my expectations, and I felt safe throughout my stay. As a solo traveler, I found the atmosphere warm, welcoming, and enjoyable. One of the best things about this hostel is its convenient location near Waterfront Station. It was very easy to travel from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to the hostel using public transportation, as Waterfront Station is the last stop on the Canada Line, and the hostel is only a short walk away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

Overall, my stay was nice and it was a good experience, the Barbecue stove was very good and the location is very convenient too, but the air vent was very dirty and has a heavy smoke smell, the outdoor pool was pretty dirty too..

Subject: Formal Complaint – Front Desk Service and Room Noise. I am very disappointed with the service I have received during my stay at your hotel. Firstly, the noise coming from nearby rooms has made it extremely difficult for me to rest. I approached the front desk to request a room change, as the disturbance was unacceptable. However, the staff member at the desk was unhelpful and informed me that nothing could be done. Her attitude came across as dismissive, and she did not make any effort to resolve my concerns or offer alternatives. I hope you will take this matter seriously and resolve it promptly. As a paying guest, I believe I deserve both a comfortable room and professional service from your staff. Unfortunately, I have experienced neither. Good room, but terrible guest services and laundry experience We chose this hotel on our road trip because of its convenient location and reasonable prices, but overall, it was a disappointing experience due to their poor service. Check-in was okay, though we did have to wait a bit. The room itself was fine—clean, with a working AC and TV, and we had no issues with the room quality. However, the major issue was their guest laundry facility. We desperately needed to do laundry after a long drive, but their guest machines completely failed and left our clothes stuck mid-wash. To her credit, the receptionist tried to help by letting us use the hotel’s internal laundry machines, but the whole process was a huge hassle. What really ruined the experience was the management's response—or lack thereof. I sent an email to lodge a formal complaint about the issue, and they didn't even bother to reply or apologize. A business that ignores its customers after a bad experience gets zero points from me. If they offer a laundry service, they need to invest in proper commercial machines instead of cheap domestic ones that constantly break down. I will definitely not be staying here again.
