This time I went to Mohe and stayed in the Arctic Village for two nights. After comparing a number of homestays, I chose Yibei Muju, which was affordable, had good facilities and a high cost-performance ratio. After arriving at the store at noon, the proprietress was also very kind. After ordering dumplings, she asked us to go to the room to fix up, and then called us when the dumplings were ready. There were also a la carte dishes in the homestay. Although the breakfast was relatively simple, it tasted good. On the day we left, the boss happened to be going to the airport to pick someone up, so he directly chartered a car at half price, took us to the county town for a tour and then sent us to the airport. This time we stayed in a Northeast kang room, which is very northern in style. The bed is very large, but it is very hot, and we will wake up from the heat at night. In the morning, we can play with water splashing into ice in the yard of the homestay. There is also a large open space to the north of the homestay with thick snow to play with. Overall, it was a very wonderful journey.
Just finished our trip to Mohe. This hotel is the first hotel we stayed in, and it was highly praised! The hotel is in an excellent location, with supermarkets and snack bars right next to it. It takes only a few minutes to walk to various attractions in Mohe City, and it takes only a few minutes to eat. The hotel has a beautiful environment, spacious space, clean and tidy, complete facilities, and an elevator. The hotel staff was very warm and thoughtful. They cut frozen pears for us as soon as we arrived, helped us plan the tour route, contacted the chartered car master, and the price was very reasonable, which fully met our requirements. The staff also said goodbye to us enthusiastically and reminded us of travel precautions. Highly recommended to all friends who come to Mohe!

I stayed on the second floor. The room was very unique. It had a spire. There was a window in the room, so you could lie down and watch the starry sky. I took photos of the starry sky that night. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the aurora. The floor heating in the room was very hot, so I had to open the window to sleep (Xiao Xiao It is recommended that it would be perfect if the bathroom could separate wet and dry areas😀). The breakfast is very generous, very Northeastern, and very delicious. It’s true that a person is nourished by the soil and water. The landlady is very enthusiastic and has a bright smile. 🙂
Arctic Village is beautiful, suitable for leisurely play and looking for the north in the far north.
Super convinience place and friendly staffs for help…walking distances to Chinese Baroque street market within 15 mins ,many popular foods and a lot variety foods can found in this area…I like my family room ,toilet and bath seperated ,no worries about hungry for tourists bcx they hv vending machines for foods and drinks. You can do own laundry and dry by its own. I had an amazing stay at this hostel. All the staff were very forthcoming with all of my questions and even helped me in sending away a package. The public area and the room (including bathroom) were very hygienic and the cleaning lady passed by each morning. There is also enough space for luggages, backpacks etc. The washing and drying machines also worked perfectly. Although i didnt use it, but technically there is also fridges to buy drinks and go buy instant noodles. Very thought through hostel, i enjoyed it to the fullest :)
(important to note for european visitors to harbin: prepare a charging adaptor, because in harbin mostly the outlet as depicted in the photo are used. But even if u dont have it dont worry! There are powerbank stations available in the hostel!)
Overall a great stay! 🍀

The host and everyone there were so warm and welcoming. Very nice to my kids, they even let my kids borrow their snow toy for them to enjoy in the snow outside the room.
Love the family room, got projector so we had winter movie night. The driver Mr Li was cheerful and so kind to bring us to the local convenience store, and recommended place for ice tubing and snow activities, he also brought us to one of the halal/muslim food which was abt 25mins drive away. The apartment is so beautiful and exceptionally Recommended place.

The hotel was newly renovated last year. It has a superior location and is convenient for travel. It is very convenient to go to Central Street on the left and to the Hagia Sophia on the right. Therefore, the price is not cheap. Because there is a family room, which just meets our requirements, we booked it here. The front desk service is enthusiastic and the girl is very patient. You can also have a cup of milk tea and hot coffee in the lobby. At first, it was a cozy family room. There was only one chair and a bedside table for three people, which was not very reasonable. There was no place to put things, and we couldn't sit for a while. In the next two days, we were upgraded to a deluxe family room for free. The room has a balcony and is very spacious. Overall, I am still very satisfied. I hope that the hair in the sewer will be cleaned during cleaning, otherwise it will be difficult to drain.

Very good hotel, good value for money, the room is clean and tidy. We have to catch a flight tomorrow night and asked the front desk for a quiet room, which also met our requirements. Good review. Harbin is very beautiful. I hope to have the opportunity to visit again in winter next time, and I will definitely book your hotel again.

Harbin Golden Bean Hotel's stay experience exceeded expectations! Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the Hongzhuan Morning Market. You can taste authentic Northeastern breakfast, which adds to the fun of the trip. The guest room design is simple and warm. Although it is not intelligently configured, it has all the facilities - 24-hour hot water, soft and skin-friendly bedding, and even the corners are dust-free after daily cleaning. In particular, the dry and wet separation in the bathroom is very well done, and the anti-slip treatment of the floor is meticulous and considerate.
The location is perfect! It takes only 8 minutes to walk to the Flood Control Memorial Tower, and you can also enjoy the European-style buildings on Central Avenue along the way; it only takes 12 minutes to walk to the Sophia Church to take photos and check in; the entrance of the river sightseeing cableway is even closer, and it is particularly romantic to take a cable car to overlook the night view of the Songhua River at night. The hotel is only 100 meters away from the Friendship Palace Station on Metro Line 3, and the convenience of travel is full marks.
The service team is particularly commendable. The front desk not only enthusiastically provides travel tips, but also takes the initiative to help book tickets for attractions. When leaving the hotel, the waiter kindly reminds you of weather changes and helps you carry your luggage. The details make people feel warm. For tourists seeking high cost-effectiveness, this is definitely the perfect base for exploring Harbin!

GGuest UserI give it 5 points, but I am a little reluctant. Why? I checked into the hotel's twin room. The bedsheets and quilt covers were very dirty, with black marks of hair on them (to protect the hotel, I won't post pictures), so I asked the hotel to change the quilt covers. The hotel also changed them for me with a very good attitude. I was very happy here. Then the next morning when I went to store my suitcases, the front desk said: There are too many suitcases stored, and the front desk has no place to put them. I want to ask, a big hotel has no place to store suitcases? The empty lobby told me that there was no place to put them. Is that bullying? Is it because I asked to change the quilt covers last night? I can't understand it, but the front desk still stored my suitcases. Later, when I took the suitcases, the attitude was also very good. But no matter how I think about it, I think that the statement that there is no place to store suitcases in the hotel is too outrageous. Apart from this, everything in the hotel is perfect.

JJeremy88I checked in very late at night and the front desk girl named Yue kindly shared me a piece of cake. She was very helpful in answering my questions too. Overall the ambience was good and I managed to hangout with few of our hostel mates to share meals cuz dongbei's food portion is really insanely huge compared to the southern China. Not to mention the location is really superb. Literally stone throw away from the train station.

MMatthew CliveHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly.
The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon.
The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price.
I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing.
The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games.
It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel.
Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.
GGuest UserA very good express hotel, just the way I like it, clean and refreshing. I booked a double room, which was not big but enough. The best thing is that although the room is at the end of the corridor, it is not like some express hotels that have to walk a long distance, but it is very safe and comfortable to reach the elevator. The room soundproofing and sanitary facilities are very satisfactory. And it is also very convenient to book and check out.
The room is on a big road called Maimai Street, which is convenient for transportation. It is adjacent to the First Hospital and there are food a few steps away. Here are a few pictures, the first one is outside the hotel window, and the second one is the ice sculpture of the nearby Zhaolin Park.

CCris RuffoloI love the location of this hostel. It was just right across the Zhongyang Street subway stop (Line 2). If you go to the Ice and Snow World Park, that's only three stops away for only, if I remember right, RMB 2. Make sure to read/check the other reviews for photos of the gate that will lead you to the door of this hostel. I arrived in the morning, about 10 a.m., and was welcomed by JP. After sorting out my things, I left my luggage to head to the Ice and Snow World Park where I stayed until 5 p.m.
I took the subway back to Zhongyang Street. I planned on walking from there to Saint Sophia Cathedral but it was too cold for me. I live in Beijing but I am originally from the Philippines so even if I was dressed warm - thermal clothes, hot packs, several layers, downjacket, scarves, beanies, ear muffs - it was still brrrr cold!
I took a Didi car from there to the cathedral and spent about 30 minutes there and then went back to the hostel. There was a social night going on downstairs but I was so beat that day I just decided to rest. I briefly interacted with a lady from Singapore named Megan.
The following day, I walked from the hostel to Hongzhuan Morning Market which is a culture of its own. Come hungry and happy! From there, I took a Didi to go to the No. 6 factory of Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Holding Co. It is dubbed as the ”Louvre of the East” but having visited the Louvre itself, it doesn't really come close. I think the moniker just came from the fact that there are several paintings and art collection in the building and the area outside feels a bit like you're in Europe.
Another Didi ride got me to Lao Daowai or the Chinese Baroque Street then another Didi to Central Street. Don't miss these two as they are filled with worthy buildings and spots to marvel, photograph of or buy trinkets from.
Harbin was the last stop of my northeastern China winter sojourn. Will I come back? Maybe. Will I stay in this hostel? Maybe.
I like the arrangement of the beds in this 16-people dorm for girls but the bathroom is a squat toilet and I don't like that. If I ever stay here again, I will choose the rooms with Western-style toilets.

OOlesia eye surgeonWe are family of 2 adults and two kids 10 and 15 years old stayed for two nights. Actually we have arrived at late night at 00:30 and just called to the reception by number which was provided by trip com. The front desk guy went downstairs and gave us the access to our room. The front desk is located at 4 floor 412 room block E . The room was convenient, very clean, the two double beds are big and comfortable. The window view to the west railway station. We went by walk about 16 minutes from the hotel to railway. The wanda plaza needs to take a taxi to get in and it’s about 10 minutes by car. The room is warm, the windows are good closed, has refrigerator but doesn’t have any dishwear. If you want to eat and cook some simple meal at the room then will need to bring your own tableware. Also we stored our luggage for free at the front desk for few hours. My family have enjoyed the stay. Appreciate for the good accommodation!

Sanitary facilities are very good. It’s just that the contact is not very convenient. It is very difficult for some older people to add WeChat! It would be better if there are eye-catching signs in the lobby to facilitate check-in.

GGuest UserStaying in this B&B this time is really an unexpected blessing. Just like Mark Twain said: ”The human mind is amazing. As long as you focus on a certain cause, you will definitely do something that will surprise you.” ”I think the proprietress of this B&B knows this very well, and she focuses on running the business and keeping the place in order.
Stepping into the room, the cleanliness is beyond imagination. The bed is as flat as ironed brocade, the sheets are as white as snow, the floor is so clean that people can be reflected, and there is not a trace of dust in every corner. It feels really safe to live here. This proves the saying ”If you don't clean one house, how can you clean the world?” If you can't even clean the room, how can you give guests a high-quality experience? This B&B is the best.
The proprietress is the ”golden sign” of the B&B. She always has a smile like the warm spring sun on her face, and she is so enthusiastic that she can dispel the fatigue and haze of travelers. No matter what problems she encounters or small requests, she responds quickly. It’s like having Doraemon’s magical pocket, able to handle everything properly. She also enthusiastically shares surrounding travel tips, and her professionalism is as professional as that of a senior tour guide.
It’s hard to find a B&B with such excellent service and high cost performance even with a lantern. There is no doubt that it will be my best choice for future travels. As the ancients said, ”The aroma of wine is not afraid of deep alleys.” I believe that it will also be able to attract more tourists from all over the world with its excellent quality. I sincerely recommend it to all travelers. !
