The hotel lobby is modern in design, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the floor-to-ceiling windows have a great view, especially the night view.
The bathroom and bedding are spotless, and the aunt cleans carefully every day, even the corners are very clean.
The front desk lady has a very good attitude and also recommends nearby food and tour routes.
The WiFi speed is fast, suitable for business and leisure travelers.
Hands down one of the best hostels I've experienced on my journey. The interior decor is full of authentic ethnic charm. The common areas are spacious and bright, making it a great spot to mingle with fellow travelers from all corners of the world. There are plenty of clean restrooms and showers, and the cleaning staff are very diligent. It's also the first hostel I've stayed at that offers complimentary breakfast, with the staff preparing delicious naan, eggs, and milk – a truly thoughtful and attentive touch. I would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Kashgar!
Today's my last day in Yining. After a comfortable night's sleep here, I visited the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall. I then grabbed a Xibe breakfast nearby before returning to the hotel to pack up and head off to Nalati. I've enjoyed my multi-day stay here, and if I ever find myself back in Yining, I'd absolutely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Transportation is convenient and it is located at the entrance of Gucheng old city. There are many restaurants and shopping places around. The hotel front desk uncle and aunt are very friendly and active. Very cheap and clean. For backpackers, it is as comfortable as at home. If I come to Kashgar again, I would like to stay at this hotel.
Driving a RV larger than the average car size, to find a hotel where you can park your car, the difficulty is still relatively large, this time I chose Jinlai Hotel is still very satisfied!
First of all, parking is very convenient, and there are many large parking spaces at the door. Secondly, the room is very clean, the bedding has no smell, and the laundry room has two washing machines that wash and dry together, which is also very convenient! Come again, the hot water will come as soon as it is turned on, the water volume is also large, and the room has a smart housekeeper ”Tmall Genie”, which is very convenient!
I was accidentally injured during the trip. I asked for band-aid with the counter. The little sister at the counter also took the initiative to give me alcohol cotton pads and iodophor cotton pads for disinfection. The service was really thoughtful.
Next to say the shortcomings, always say the advantages, people still think I am trust!
The bathroom is not separated from wet and dry. When the shower head is stored in the water, the toilet will be wet everywhere. The public area is scattered with musty smell and smoke. The guests on the same floor do not sleep late at night and close the door hard. The hotel can not persuade and stop, of course, This is the uncivilized behavior of the guests, and it cannot be blamed on the hotel side, but the hotel as the management party has to bear a little responsibility.
Although there are shortcomings, in general, it is still not hidden, this hotel is still worth recommending.

This was my third self-driving trip to Xinjiang and my third time in Kashgar. This time, I stayed at the Jindi Hotel, which was the best value for money. The service was excellent, the environment was clean, and the breakfast was especially rich and varied. It was both high-quality and nutritious. It's the best choice for accommodation in Kashgar. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kashgar.

My stay at the hotel was great. The staff were really nice and helpful, and one of them even tried to talk to me in Tagalog, which was a nice touch even though we mainly used English on the WeChat app for translation. The room was a bit small but cozy, and the hotel's location near the railway station and across from a shopping mall was convenient. Overall, it was a good experience and I would consider staying there again.
The hotel has an elegant environment, unique decoration style and full of artistic atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and bright, fully equipped, and intelligent, which is very convenient to use. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the quality of toiletries is good. The hotel staff is kind and responsive, making people feel at home. It is worth recommending to friends and family!
It's really comfortable to stay in a hotel like this ❤️❤️❤️ Especially the enthusiasm of the security brother is very touching! Thumbs up for such service. It's a great trip for friends who travel to encounter such a hotel! ! !

It was our first night in china and I immediately fell in love with the host and the location. The atmosphere is amazing, the spirits are near and you accepted as a part of the group the moment you step into it. The host showed us the greatest noodle palace I have ever seen and it’s around the corner. There is an intense party district within 15 minutes of walking. All your wishes will come true in Kailash! Would book again and already thinking about returning in the future. 10/10 would highly recommend.

TTravis and ElishaWow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that.
She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met.
It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here.
Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed.
While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information.
The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate).
The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean.
Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever.

PS: when we get home I'm going to try to write up a bit about our trip on Tripadvisor because I couldn't find anything about Kashgar on trip advisor since covid, and some things have changed, so I thought it might be helpful for fellow travelers, so look for that.

GGuest UserGood reviews! The location of the hotel is amazing. You can see the magnificent Pamir Plateau scenery of Tashkurgan County as soon as you go out. In the morning, when you open the window, the sun shines on the top of the continuous snow-capped mountains. The picture is so beautiful that it is suffocating. Here, you can enjoy the unique natural scenery of Tashkurgan County while lying in bed. This experience is great!
GGuest UserAfter the hostel I stayed at in Kermanshah, Iran, this has definitely been the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It was clean, well-organized, and very secure, with modern facilities. The beds and mattresses were super comfortable, and the stairs to the top bunk were very convenient. Each bed had its own curtain and reading light, and every guest received a locker with a wristband, plus a small basin, towel, and toothbrush. The rooms used a key card system, so security was excellent. There was also a kettle and a desk in the room. The best part was that the receptionist spoke English and kindly gave me the best room. There’s a supermarket right next door, and it’s only about a 30-minute walk to the Grand Bazaar, one of Urumqi’s main attractions. If I return to Urumqi, I’ll definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserI did not have the best stay at this hostel, but it could have been due to unique circumstances.
When i arrived in the middle of the night, the owner(or senior staff idk) was drinking and smoking with his friends in the commons. Whilst I was checking in with another staff member, they discussed among themselves where I could be from based on my appearance. As a young woman traveling alone, I found this moment quite unpleasant.
I had booked the 4 people's dorm. They happened to be no other guests in the dorm that night. It was nice to have the room for myself. However, the room had not been cleaned up. My bed had been made, but on the trash was some trash and laying around. The previous guests had also smoked in the room. They had left their sigarettes floating in a noodle pot and the room stinking. I asked for another room. The tipsy owner first denied the room smelled, till we stood in front of the floating sigarettes. There was no other room available, so i slept there.
By morning, the commons looked like a different hotel. There was a friendly and professional lady at the desk who checked me out. She also kept my luggage for the day, which was very convenient.
For anyone who has never been in Urumuqi before, this is not the city center. The hotel is located in a tower close to Ulumuqi train station. It's convenient if you're hoping on or off the train, but you'll need a taxi to get you to part of the city worth visiting.
Overall, I had a terrible experience, but it's probably not how most travellers would experience this hostel. And, it's quite cheap.
GGuest UserHostel is about 5 - 7 minutes away from the ”Sports Centre” metro station, which is about 25+ minutes from the airport.
The hostel entrance is next to the Tesla shop, and you have to press the buzzer, for the security guard to open the gate for you.
Then, after writing your name down in the guest-book, you go up to the 10th floor in the lift.
(Check the other reviews here, for a picture of the gate/door to the building)
The staff speak little to no English, but they are very helpful.
They will try to solve your issues, as long as you patient with the translation software.
Also, it is difficult for staff to check you in, if you do not have a contact number or Alipay/Wechat contact.
(This is a CN Govt requirement)
The dorm rooms are basic and you may get the city views.
There are no privacy curtains and there was no air-con, in my one.
The hostel staff can provide fans, but we did not need any, as it was still cool at night.
The beds are OK.
There is a bathroom in the dorm room too, but there was almost no privacy for the bathroom, as there was a gap between the door for others to see and you can see through the frosted glass into the bathroom too!
The hostel is relatively clean, quiet and well-located,
except there may be other local guests, who are loud and smoke sometimes in the other rooms.
Next to the hostel is a nice up-market shopping centre and with really lots to eat, in the food-court on the 3rd floor.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We left something behind and they kept it for us and called us back. Thank you so much! The room was clean, the environment was nice, and the facilities were complete. I'm looking forward to staying here next time!
MM248912****This is the second day of staying here, and the overall feeling is really good: 1. The boss is very enthusiastic and warm. 2. Good location, convenient for taking public transportation. 3. Very close to Liuxing Street, with plenty of food and entertainment. 4. Although the room facilities are a bit old-fashioned, fortunately the boss is nice, the location is good, the room is big and has good lighting!
55352****Baihaba Village is really a paradise, and the Koala B&B is a quiet place in a paradise, not far from the center of the village, far from the noise and close to the living area. The two sisters of the hotel were warm and thoughtful. They went to the parking lot to pick us up to the store. Seeing that we were crowded, the room was arranged and a few bottles of mineral water were added to us. The room was clean and tidy, the courtyard was fresh and natural, full of home feeling, very close to the observation deck, and it was super convenient to go to the main street to eat. I am very happy to choose koalas in many homestays, and I will recommend friends to come.
