2-Star Hotels in Xinjiang, China

The hostel is close to the train station, but not close enough to walk. And it’s a bit far from the city centre so I had to take a didi every time i go out. Staff are nice, the common space are nice too. You will have to make your own bed and take out the linens when checking out. Toilets are okay. There was someone in my room who stay long term, so there are a lot of daily stuff all over the dormitory. But I just stayed one night so that’s okay.

The room is new, well-equipped, intelligent, very convenient, and of a moderate size, allowing for a good rest. Disadvantages: The breakfast is very poor, and you are not allowed to eat the buffet. You can only eat the fixed set meal they provide, which is a pancake, an egg, and a bowl of millet porridge. You can't eat full at all. The restaurant waiter kept telling the guests ”You can't eat the buffet, you can only eat the set meal” while carrying the dishes, and his saliva sprayed into the dishes, which was disgusting. Also, the security guard just sat there and browsed his phone, and didn't help in any way. The door to the hall was very tight, and he didn't help even if I couldn't push the door open with my luggage. It was quite poor.

The rooms are clean and hygienic without any peculiar smell. The staff is very friendly. The facilities are complete and there is a fully automatic washing machine. It is cost-effective. It is conveniently located on the main road. There are many places to eat downstairs. Parking downstairs is convenient and free. It is the first choice for business trips and entertainment.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the sound insulation is good, the service staff is enthusiastic and professional, the location is convenient for transportation, although breakfast is not included, there are many dining options nearby, and there is free parking. The overall stay experience is very satisfactory and recommended [strong] [strong]!

Extremely well located, and great value for money. Happy staff who are very welcoming, and the room had everything it needed. My only concern was some extremely noisy guests in another room, which continued from midnight until 6am on one of the nights. Admittedly, I did not raise this to the staff as it felt too late to do so, so I cannot comment on how well it would've been handled. I'm sure they would have helped to stop it. It does mean that the soundproofing isn't totally perfect, but everything else was very good. Enjoyed my stay, will return if I come back to Kashgar.

We had an amazing time in Kailash Hostel! It is pretty close to Illi Bus Terminal. It has a really nice common area with lots of details. The owner Toni is a really open and kind person! He welcomed us with open arms, made very good coffee and even invited us for breakfast. You can see that he really wants his guests to have a good time and he also connects people in the hostel. We would totally recommend staying here!

The building is not a proper hotel as it occupies three floors of an apartment building. The building is damaged and there are peeling walls in various places. The first room we were given did not have air conditioning (although the reservation information said it had air conditioning), so we requested a room change and the problem was solved. However, the new room did not have a TV. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, but there was no one there at 8am. You may have trouble leaving your luggage. The cleaning staff works hard and keeps the rooms as clean as possible. Wi-Fi is good. There is a simple restaurant and a convenience store on the first floor of the building.

This is my favorite accommodation during my trip to Kashgar and Taskul. The owner's aunt here is so cool and nice !! There was no problem with checking in for foreigners, and the location is convenient near Food Street and Seokdujeong. The hostel is clean, and there's everything you need in the first floor shared living room. I couldn't be together because I didn't have time, but every evening, my Chinese friends staying at the hostel asked me where they were going and where they were going. It was like a guest house in Jeju Island. If I have more time, I want to stay here and look around Tascuergan more. I recommend it !!

Great hostel to stay at for a short trip to Kashgar! It’s close enough to the Ancient City (about a half hour walk) and easy to get to both the railway station and airport by bus. The amenities here are great with good lounge areas, free laundry, place to hang laundry, and a kitchen! The bathroom situation isn’t great thought because the shower is right over a squat toilet. Also this isn’t the cleanest tidiest hostel with rubbish overflowing and and luggage strewn around the reception area. It’s not a big issue but be aware the hostel is definitely not as nice as the photos!

Just a 5 minute walk to the touristy 香妃园 and a 15 minute bus ride to the Kashgar Train Station and Long Distance Bus Station. Lots of food options down the street. Rooms are spacious and clean and some do come with an attached balcony; though I doubt you'll spend some time there since Kashgar's a dust wind magnet. Overall, a great place to stay especially if you have an early train or bus to catch.
