This is a cuteeeeee little hotel. And yes its two stars on here, but I have to say, a hotel is just a place to sleep and what you want at the end of the day is a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to do that. This place delivered on that. What's most important is what's around it, and in this area, there is no better place to stay than this hotel. It's situated in this awesome part of Kawazu that is just breathtaking. You can follow this path along all of these different waterfalls, and it's a gorgeous walk. Plus -- it's 5 min walk away from this Onsen that is outside and next to the biggest waterfall, not to mention that their open-air onsen at the hotel itself is stunningly beautiful (I am speaking specifically of the men's onsen -- obviously didn't try the women's!). I think this is a two-star hotel on Trip.com for its services -- there's no room service, gym, amenities, etc... -- but in terms of location and onsen quality, its a four star hotel. My friend and I had a really nice time, and though there are so many places in the world to explore we are unlikely to return ourselves, I would refer people to this hotel without hesitation.

A traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. Originally I booked a Japanese room with a bathroom, but in the end I had to take a bath by myself. What was surprising was that the hot spring was very comfortable. There was an old lady inside who was very hospitable. Even though she didn't speak English, she held a tablet and introduced the various facilities of their hotel along the way. She also introduced that there was a water wheel outside their door, where you could see fireflies. It happened to rain that day, so we didn't see any fireflies. I really want to see them! Their service is really good. We had just finished checking out and when we turned around, they found that we had missed something, so they gave it to us immediately. This kind of thoughtful service really made me feel at home! The old lady also saw us off. She was very cute and loved to laugh. We kept chatting in half Japanese and half English. She was really kind! I hope she is healthy.

Japanese-style room, the overall feeling is not bad, you need to drive to reach. There are no bathing facilities in the room and there is a public bathroom. The proprietress has a good service attitude and the Japanese breakfast is more refined.

”Tangwu” is located in a villa area 1.8km away from Mount Omuro. It is surrounded by exquisite villas with unique features, quiet and tasteful. From the room, you can see the vast sea, and when you look back, you can see the green mountains and white clouds. I was awakened by the crisp bird calls in the morning, and I could see the sunrise on the balcony. The temperature in May was just right, and the mountain breeze and sea breeze were refreshing and comfortable~#Live in the scenery. ”Tangwu” is decorated with great care. The restaurant and terrace are the highlights. They are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is also open to the public at noon. The boss is from Xi'an, warm and hospitable, and his cooking skills are online! Meals are charged separately, but the price is very nice, which makes people feel comfortable eating at home when they go out, and it also attracts many Japanese friends around to try~ [Strong]Recommendation reason: clean, quiet, comfortable, beautiful, with meals, the boss is nice, convenient transportation, can pick up and drop off at the station and some attractions such as Mount Omuro

This time try the newly opened hotel. The room I booked still had a view of Mount Fuji. Once I opened the window, I saw the whole of Mount Fuji. The hotel is conveniently close to the outlet, sightseeing shopping at once!

This hotel rating 4.2 is really deserved! First of all, there is no seaside, just in the vicinity, there is no scenery through the window, all are houses. The equipment in the house is also very poor, old and not retro. . . . Secondly, breakfast only bread boiled white egg milk juice. There is no hot food, no tray service, it is full buffet. Eating on the first floor, there is no scenery outside. Finally, Tangchi is also a pool on the top floor, which is much worse than other soup pools in Japan. Because the price of the May Day has risen sharply, more than 800 in the evening, this price/performance ratio, think about it.

We loved our stay at Onsen Yado Miuguchi. Very comfortable and traditional style Japanese Ryokan with nice onsen. The breakfast we added was very delicious and very filling. When we return to Shuzenji we will be happy to stay here again!

The number one aspect that sets Hinodeya apart is the hospitality and wholesomeness of the experience. Hinodeya is not limited to just a room that you sleep in. Rather, every aspect of our stay in Ito was intertwined with the wonderful owner and thoughtful staff. From our arrival to departure, our experience was nothing but pleasant. The breakfast provides undeniable value, you get so much compared to what you pay for. For dinner, we recommend the crab dinner, though it may be seasonal, but you get a taste of a majority of the local specialties all in one sitting. The owner of Hinodeya truly cares about your experience, and is an excellent resource when exploring Ito. The staff are compassionate and attentive, checking in constantly throughout our stay to make sure we were having a good time. The rooms are very clean, and the onsen is a one-of-a-kind experience not found anywhere else.

SShih Yuin ChewTo my regret, should have booked ALL my nights in Shizuoka with this place. Because of some of the negative reviews online, I was sceptical and worried thus didn’t wanna put all eggs in one basket. But the worry was totally unnecessary. Given the price, a fair comparison should be a dormitory styled hostel, and this place far exceeds any of the capsule hotels/dorm hostels I’ve been to (I’ve booked around 50 in Japan by now). First, it has its own room and bed, privacy +1. Second, it has its own large locker in the room (not as large as the largest suitcase, but more than enough to keep valuables and clothes), convenience +1. Third, COMFY bed with incredibly thick foam support and super-single kinda width, sleep quality +1. Fourth, the shower room area is ultra spacious and brightly illuminated, with close to 10 counters (and chairs), you can take your time taking care of your hygiene and facial breakouts at your own pace. Fifth, it has a partner cafe (hug coffee) two doors next to it and the breakfast and/or drink coupons it offers could save you quite some money compared to walk in yourself. The list could go on when you compare it to other hostels in the town (instead of hotels in another price range) Given, the door of the room cannot be locked, and there could be a chance of hearing noise from other rooms, but these are common issues across all hostel settings, and it’s more of the travellers issue than the place. So overall, I must say this is a place of very high value. I’ll almost always stay in this place if I’m to pass by Shizuoka again in the future.

Ccome with me พามาแล้วอย่าบ่นI was pleasantly surprised to find that this place offers a complimentary dinner! The menu included pork curry rice or pork curry udon—both delicious options. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. The room came fully stocked with all the necessary amenities, including a traditional Japanese-style pajama set, which was a nice touch. There's a shared hot bath available for men only, open from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM the next day—perfect for relaxing after a long day. They also offer a Japanese-style breakfast buffet, which had a great variety and tasted amazing. Additional conveniences include free parking, as well as vending machines with drinks, snacks, and beer. There's also a coin-operated washer and dryer, which came in handy during the trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and thoughtful stay!

GGuest UserGreat hotel, nice localisation, can’t say bad world about it :) Option with breakfast was something new for me, you got plate with different variants of food on it + “Swedish buffet” with rice, bread and drinks. Everything was very good and tasty, but some times feel like too small portions (ex. omelette). Clean room, fresh sheets and Landry option :) standard Chanel’s on tv and really good design for bed shelve (light switch’s and usb charger). Also lobby with a great manga collection to read (only Japanese language available) was nice alternative.

GGuest UserSuch a nice place to stay! Location is ideal, only a short walk to the station, nice area of the town and the views of Fuji are incredible. Accommodation itself is amazing, so clean and well kept, toiletries included even with facial cleanser and moisturiser. The only down side (more annoyance) is as a women staying in the mixed dorm I didn’t have access to the women only area where the women’s only lounge is as well as the fridge and laundry, reception would always be happy to let me in but I didn’t want to constantly be asking and there wasn’t always someone there so I would recommend choosing women only or male only rooms instead of mixed. Other than that it was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend.

AAnonymous UserIt seemed to be the day of a fireworks display and was very popular that day. Check-in was done in one part of the coffee shop. We apologize when it is crowded as the general public also enjoys tea. The rooms have air conditioning, but the beds do not, so it feels very hot and difficult to stay there. There are no towels or toothbrushes. You need to bring your own. Earplugs were available at the washbasin. There is only one shower and one toilet, so you have to be patient when others are using them. I woke up in the middle of the night when someone came home and took a shower because of the noise. You have to cross a big road from the station, so it is better to go out with plenty of time to spare.

YyuhutianThe B&B is on a mountain, quite far away from the seaside. Because it’s up the mountain, it’s quite tiring to go up there. The sanitation and facilities of the B&B are quite satisfactory and quite acceptable. It will be a little more expensive when there is a fireworks display. Although the rule of the B&B is that you cannot smoke anywhere in the B&B, some guests still smoke in the room unconsciously. Because it is a wooden house, the smell of smoke will spread everywhere. When I finally checked out, because there had just been an earthquake in the morning, I couldn't go past the 10 o'clock check-out time for even one minute. I couldn't even sit in the living room for a while and drink some water before leaving. The attitude of the service staff (Chinese) seemed a bit like they were rushing. The way people walked was very unpleasant. I have stayed in so many Japanese hotels and B&Bs and I have never experienced anything like this.
