The parking lot is large and there is no charge for parking. Breakfast is formal Western style, with a wide variety and a lot of money. The surrounding area of the hotel is very lively and shopping is very convenient. And the hotel has convenient transportation. Next time you go to Lansing, you must still live here.

The room and hotel was great. I don’t like that you do have to pay.$20 per day for parking or you will need to use the city parking but you can’t park over night as city parking expires at midnight. The location has no pool but has a nice roof top. Drinks were pretty reasonable. Over all it was nice.

Room was not clean upon arrival. TV didn't work.Had to change rooms. TV in 2nd room had to be reset before it worked. There was a hole in the wall unrepaired. The shower control fell off when adjusting the water temperature.

This hotel is nice. It was clean. It is farther away from downtown Rochester Hills than the website indicates. We were disappointed that there wasn't a hot tub, just a very small indoor pool. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Two floors of the hotel were filled with kids' hockey teams that were running wild on the other floors, including our floor. The breakfast room the following morning was much the same, the kids were yelling, running around, making a mess of everything while the parents were conversing with the other parents. Total disrespect to the rest of guests. The kids were mixing all the different juices together and then throwing it out because it didn't taste good, throwing away bananas they didn't peel, just wasting food. I know this was not the hotels fault. It's just a shame the parents or the kids had no regard for all the other patrons. We had to wait for the sole person manning the breakfast room to refill most of the breakfast items. There was a nice selection of hot and cold food once it was replenished. I would still stay at this hotel again

The facilities are older, but overall they are relatively spacious and the location is close to Ann Arbor.

The location is terrific ! Right on the water. We booked a king room, it was so tiny there was not even a place to put the luggage, and the cigarette smoke residue and chemicals used to cover it up were overwhelming ! The front desk kindly gave us an upgrade to a penthouse suite at no additional charge. The suite worked out well. The hotel is older and vintage, the rooms reflect that but are in desperate need of a facelift,,,seam split wall paper, dingy corners, cheap carpet and very chintzy cabinetry circa 90s builder grade oak that is worn, scratched and mismatched to the old fashioned cherry dressers. The suite had an apartment sized refrigerator, microwave and kitchenette sink, all mismatched, white fridge, black microwave, stainless sink. Not a bit of kitchen gear supplied,,,no sponge, no towel, not even a paper towel. The TVs were tiny as well ! The bar however was lovely, excellent cocktails and nibbles. The grounds and harbor view were grand, easy and ample parking and the staff attentive. Its a good hotel,,,just really worn out !!

I didn't use the shuttle because it was only about a 5-minute ride for $13 by Uber. The female staff were very friendly. Although the building is old, it was well-maintained and clean; there were no bugs at all, and the room had a refrigerator and a microwave. The air conditioning and ventilation worked well, and the vending machines in the hallway sold drinks and water for $1.50, which was very cheap. Cold water is also sold at the front desk. Almost everything I needed was there. The shower pressure wasn't weak, but everything was fine except for the toilet pressure being so low that I had to flush twice. The area around the building was brightly lit with streetlights all night, and there were 24-hour facilities nearby, such as McDonald's, so the area felt safe. I am satisfied.

I've stayed here 3 times (3-5 days each) in the last decade. Each time has been excellent. Attractions: indoor pool/hot tub, free cold (cereal, bagels, juice) and hot breakfast (sausage, scrambled eggs; waffles if you wanted to make them), free parking, and only 5-minute walk from everything on Main Street in Frankenmuth. Room was clean, furniture was in good condition, plenty of hot water. I appreciated the shoe/hat/gloves cubbyholes next to the coat rack (which had plenty of hangers). I didn't need them this time, but an ironing board/iron and hair dryer were available. I didn't use the TV or microwave, but the fridge was very useful, and kept things cold. Standard wireless internet access worked fine (both for laptop and a phone). I booked about 2 weeks in advance, non-refundable rate to save some money. All staff and managers were friendly and helpful. Twice there were fresh-baked cookies put out at the front desk. I am very pleased and will stay there again. Highly recommend!

Overall, the hotel is clean and well maintained. However When we arrived to check in, our room was not ready until around 3:25 PM which was very disappointing, as we were very tired from driving long hours. During the night, the cleaning guy at the lobby was very noisy, speaking loudly on his phone speaker, while we were trying to relax and have coffee, thus we left the whole lobby for him and went to our rooms.

I’ve stay at this location many times. Staff is always friendly, they know me by name. I usually get to check in early. The room are starting to show their age as last refresh was in 2006. Still a nice place to stay. It’s close to the freeway, stores, and food.
