Staff very friendly. The breakfast has a great selection and very good products. The three-bed room was very cramped. It was fine for one night. But there was no place for the person to put their things. Only 2 bottles of water even though 3 people were booked. Only one toothbrush cup in the bathroom. The mattresses were OK, but the room was very worn.

The service at reception is very friendly, and the rest of the staff is also very attentive. The breakfast needs to be reconsidered in terms of value for money. There are also staff shortages at breakfast, which is also the case in other, similar hotels.

Highly recommended Dusseldorf hotel! The front desk staff is very polite, warm and thoughtful. The hotel is just a 3-4 minute walk from Dusseldorf Train Station, with a superior location and convenient transportation. The hotel is also very new, clean and tidy with a sense of design. The rest environment in the lobby is also very good!

When we checked in; 1 agent checked us in while the other 2 just stared at us like we were aliens. One of them had a smirk on their face throughout my check-in, I wanted to ask what she thought was so funny with us checking into the hotel but I didn’t want to spoil the evening. They all started laughing when we left the checkin desk. Know that we are non-European. Very unwelcoming and unprofessional. I suggest cultural diversity training. The beds were disgusting! Small strips of hair all over the fitted sheet. The Most Disgusting was the pee stain on the sheets! The bed smelled like piss too. It was supposed to be non-smoking but someone had been smoking in the room or the insulation/vent systems need more work. I didn’t want to deal with the unprofessional front desk staff so I suffered through the uncleanliness and just put 2 towels on top of the duvet just to feel at ease sleeping, even though we were only there for one night…Thank God I didn’t book for longer. The only positive was breakfast; it was adequate for 1 night stay. Definitely won’t be spending another dime here.

Location in 30 minutes walk from the center. There is no capsule coffee machine in the room, strange for this level of the hotel. The bathroom has no hair conditioner. In general the hotel is pulled on a good crack, but not more. I will not stop in it anymore, expensive for this level of service.

I recently visited NH cologne hotel and was overall quite pleased with the experience. The service was exceptional—staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and offered everything I needed for a relaxing time. The ambiance was welcoming, with a great atmosphere. Food Quality: I was particularly impressed with the food. The menu offered a variety of options, and everything I tried was delicious. The brownie cake? was a standout—it was perfectly cooked and presented. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were on point. Final Thoughts: Overall, I would definitely recommend NH Koeln Altstadt to others. It was a memorable experience, and I’m looking forward to visiting again soon!

Friendly staff that all spoke English. The location felt safe and was very quiet but still central. The room was nice enough and had enough space, and the hotel was comfortable with some artistic design. My room faced towards the direction of the old town but was silent at night, and quiet during the day even with the windows wide open. Plenty of hot water, but the towels were small and cheap. A coffee expresso machine in the room with coffee but no tea. The hotel looked a bit tired in places but nothing to worry about and repairs were ongoing. Unfortunately the advertised computer I needed was missing apparently broken. This was unacceptable and my only real complaint. No garden seating area. The breakfast was good with enough to choose from including hot food, but it finished early at 10:30. The English black tea wasn’t and was horrible, so British tea drinkers bring tea yourself. If passing I’d stay here again for sure.
