2-Star Hotels in Vientiane Province, Laos

The hotel view is truly beautiful, the mountains are superb! However, when I arrived, they tried to put me in the wrong room twice, not the one I had booked. After a long discussion, I finally got the correct room. Inside the room, there were many mosquitoes, gnats, and ants.

The hotel's location is convenient, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the service is warm and attentive. The facilities are complete, and the overall stay experience was very good. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Bambien is a small town, but it is a little over 10 minutes walk to the busiest area (around the night market). It may be a little hot during the day. Amenity is substantial. There was soap, shampoo (no conditioner), and  toothbrush. There was also a hair dryer. From the corridor, I enjoyed both  Asahi and sunset. The room is clean and clean.

Stayed here for a short trip. The air conditioning worked very well and the bed was huge and comfortable, which made resting easier. However, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling itchy, which was uncomfortable. The soap and shampoo holders in the bathroom also looked old and not very well maintained. Breakfast policy was disappointing — only one portion was included. I requested an extra portion but was told I had to pay more. Another thing to note: there is a dog at the property that may greet guests. Animal lovers may enjoy this, but personally I was scared and uncomfortable around it. Overall, decent basic stay with good air conditioning and a large bed, but there are several areas that could be improved.

It is actually quite a run-down place owned by a Chinese family. The bathroom light pretty much doesn't work, it always switches on and off by itself (host says it's daylight saving) and I pretty much just had to get used to bathing without light. Shower water pressure is weak, but there is hot water. Bed is quite hard. The walls are stained and generally the place is quite old. Location is just abit away from the main town. They have EV bikes you can rent for 180k kip. I wouldn't stay here again, but I think if you are someone who is okay with these amenities, it is bearable.

Unfortunately, the hotel was a disappointment. Since it was overbooked (probably because you didn't get a statement), you were sent to another hotel. The room allocated there was not corresponding to the booked category. It was crazy with broken device, no hot water and no daylight. Only on your own request, you could change back after the first night. The room was better, the establishment was no longer the latest and there were melting everywhere, even in bed. The staff was struggling, lack of English knowledge severely impeded communication. The price-performance ratio was not right here, so I can, unfortunately, make a recommendation this time.

Overall, it was a good stay! Location is perfect as it's the night market in front of the guest house. The air conditioning does not work well and still warm even at 16 degrees. The breakfast options were very basic (bread, an egg, coffee, some fruits, etc.) I stayed at another guest house in the area and the breakfast options (buffet) was amazing!
