The Lobby: Less of a reception area and more of a grand living room. There is a massive stone fireplace that burns all day, surrounded by mismatched leather armchairs, stacks of vintage board games, and a self-serve tea station with local honey. The Lighting: You won't find a single harsh, white bulb here. Everything is soft amber, candlelight, and the amber glow of Edison bulbs, which instantly coaxes your brain into relaxation mode. The Room: A Sanctuary of Comfort The bed deserves its own dedicated review. Layered with crisp linen sheets, a heavy down comforter, and a chunky knit weighted blanket, it felt like sleeping inside a cloud. The Bath: A deep, freestanding copper soaking tub. They provide small jars of handmade cedarwood and lavender bath salts that made the entire room smell like a woodland spa. The Details: No plastic water bottles or generic tech. Instead, there was a vintage-style Marshall Bluetooth speaker playing soft acoustic jazz when we walked in, a ceramic electric kettle, and freshly baked shortbread cookies waiting on a ceramic plate.

My wife and I stayed for 4 days, where she also met up with family and relaxed. Whenever we go to Cebu, this is the hotel we stay at most often. The transportation and surrounding commercial area are convenient and good. Although it's an older hotel, they pay a lot of attention to the breakfast, haha. It's a comfortable hotel with almost no price changes even during peak season.

A clean and comfortable hotel in a convenient and, most importantly, quiet location. The staff are very polite and attentive. A big thank you to all of them for a pleasant stay.

Everything was perfect during my stay. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely well taken care of. The staff were attentive, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, and I especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast buffet.

The hotel has an excellent location. The room is a spacious apartment with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. It's a decent building, and the lady at the reception was wonderful. We left our luggage at the storage because we were leaving very early for an excursion, and everything went smoothly without any problems. Now for the downsides: on the ground floor of the building, there's a grocery store where we saw quite a few cockroaches. It's highly likely that the cockroaches in our room came from there, probably carried into the building by residents from the store. I counted 5 small cockroaches in the apartment during the evening. Also, the bed linen wasn't changed before our arrival; it was all wrinkled as if someone had slept on it, and I found hair and eyelashes on it. We had to sleep on top of the duvet without making the bed because we checked in late and had to get up very early for our excursion, so there was no time to sort out the bedding issue with the hotel staff. Overall, if they would update the towels (they are no longer white from age), set up cockroach traps, and of course, change the bed linen after every guest, this would be a decent place for its price. But for now, because of the dirty bed linen situation, I'm quite upset.

I stayed for 3 days. The location is great, right on the main street with all sorts of shops and services around. The beach is a very close 5-minute walk. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy in the room; neighbors don't seem to realize the walls are thin, and if they talk loudly during the day, you can hear a lot. However, it's quiet at night, so you can sleep peacefully. It's a good option for a budget stay.

Rooms were pretty big! Only issue was with pests coming out. I had a talk with their housekeeping team about what to do so that the issue will be resolved. Hopefully they take action.

The room is comfortable. I would not call it an apartment as there is no kitchenette. The staff are friendly. The restaurant on-site serves good food and drink, but prices are too much.

Budget Friendly Stay with Mixed Experiences - Good for the Price, but Be Prepared for Quirks We booked this hotel for three nights primarily because of its incredibly low price, around 500+ pesos. Upon arrival, we were surprised to see the area filled with HPG (Highway Patrol Group) motorcycles; it turned out they were also staying there due to an ASEAN event in Lapu-Lapu, which made the vicinity quite busy. When we entered, the reception was unattended for a moment, and when someone did assist us, they seemed rushed and hard to communicate with. Being escorted to our room was an ”okay” experience. For the 500-peso price point, it met expectations! The room had a refrigerator, and we were happy to find a bucket and dipper, which meant we could do our laundry a huge plus for us. While the shower pressure was slightly better than our previous accommodation, we still weren't fully satisfied and ended up using the bucket and dipper for bathing. We enjoyed the TV, even if it was a manual one at least it worked! However, our experience at the dining area upon checkout was quite chaotic. The staff there seemed disorganized; they were laughing, and then there was a clear concern from another guest whose order hadn't arrived despite being placed earlier than ours. It turned out their order wasn't even listed, indicating an absent-minded mistake. The scene quickly escalated with staff shouting questions like ”Where's the order?” and ”Which order?” among themselves, creating a very confusing and unpleasant atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is inside Salagdoong in the quiet area away from the crowd. The water in front of the hotel is not so nice, I think there were some jellyfish, but the main beach area in Salagdoong is good and lots of fish that will nibble on your feet 🤣 plus jumping board for more fun activities. They have free kayak also.
