Beach Hotels in Guangdong, China

The hotel is right in the Fuhuali commercial district, offering a one-stop shop for shopping, dining, and entertainment. We spent two wonderful days here without needing to look for food elsewhere, as there are countless restaurants downstairs: BBQ, hotpot, desserts, Western, and Chinese cuisine. It was almost overwhelming with so many choices, but every meal was incredibly satisfying. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. At just over 600 RMB, including breakfast for two, it was truly excellent value for money.

“The best hotel in Zhanjiang” My room is sea view suite 1316 with club accessed pass where you can enjoy free dinner and drink 18.00-20.00 and I stayed here for 5 days for work. The location is great just next to the beach and there is shopping mall where you can find something to eat and it takes only 7 mins by walk. The room is very spacious and provide everything you need during your stay, fridge, big bathtub with sea view, robes, comb, dryer, salt bath, mouthwash, etc Breakfast is also a competitive advantage as it offers a variety of choice (most of them are Chinese food) since early morning until 10.30. Staff is very helpful and the front desk can speak English. The lobby is always crowded and busy because there’s seminar / wedding event hosted here almost everyday. Facilities of the hotel are great especially gyms and children’s room. The only negative side is cleanliness. My shower room still got some hairfall on the ground after cleaning but the overall is ok. I would recommend this hotel and will visit them again.

The hotel's design is unique, and the environment is quite good. The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful during check-in, and even helped us upgrade to a premium sea-view room. The hygiene was good, but the air conditioning wasn't cool enough at night – it was too hot with the blanket on, but too cold without it. They offered snacks and drinks at both check-in and check-out. However, if you're driving, you have to switch elevators to get from the guest rooms to the parking lot, and we got lost a few times on the first day. Other than that, everything else was fine, and the overall experience was still quite good.

Chimelong's service has always been excellent. The staff are all super friendly and patient, always ready to help. Even the cleaning staff in less-trafficked public areas greet you warmly. Their service mindset and emotional value are top-notch! The only downside was the guest room. While the premium pricing during Chinese New Year is understandable, and we paid extra to upgrade our room type, there was still a slight disappointment when we first opened the door. I've stayed at the Panda Hotel twice, the Penguin Hotel twice, and the Giraffe Hotel once, and their room facilities and decor always surpassed those at the Spaceship Hotel. On a positive note, Coral Restaurant was a pleasant surprise; my child loved it, and the food was much better than at Sailor Restaurant! The Spaceship Park is also very interesting, with great attention to detail. It's definitely worth a second visit.

Overall, pretty good! The sea view is unbeatable, the balcony is huge, and the room is very clean. The service was quite good; we had to leave early the next morning, and they even let us redeem the afternoon tea from our package in advance. There's room for improvement in some details though: the outdoor pool's bottom looked a bit old and dirty, some towels were frayed, there was no trash can in the bathroom, and the Chinese restaurant's food was very mediocre, overly salty. The only thing better than an outdoor food stall was the ambiance. However, considering it was likely short-staffed before the New Year, it's understandable. Overall, still worth a five-star rating. As for the surrounding commercial streets, definitely avoid the nearest 'Chaoye' one – the food there is terrible.

Cleanliness: The hotel isn't new, but the rooms and public facilities are well-maintained, including the outdoor pool which wasn't in use in February. The green coverage is high. Service: I was extremely impressed with the hotel's dining service. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of dishes, and the prepared food was meticulously cut. Most importantly, the seating management during peak breakfast hours was well-organized. Even during the busiest period from 9-10 AM, there was hardly any waiting time. What's even more commendable is how proactive and attentive all the staff were in anticipating guests' needs. They cleared plates promptly and thoughtfully, constantly scanning the room for any requirements. Similarly, during the dinner buffet, the food was fresh, with excellent beef hotpot and seafood quality. The authentic Cantonese-style rice noodle rolls and clay pot rice were also highlights. While you could tell the restaurant was mindful of costs, they still offered everything you'd expect without sacrificing quality or the overall dining experience. They even allowed a small amount of leftovers to be packed for my child who wasn't with me, which speaks volumes about the management's generous and accommodating service philosophy.

Traveling with my parents, this hotel was one of the better options in the area. The overall service was great. While the facilities aren't brand new, they're perfectly adequate. The hot springs weren't open during our stay, only the indoor pool. For coffee in the lobby, I'd recommend sticking to Americano since it's made from a self-service machine. Whether you get good views here really depends on the weather. Hope everyone gets to experience it on a sunny day!

Friends came to Shanwei to play before and recommended us to come. It was so beautiful here. I didn't need this trip. I saw a lot of hotels on the Internet and finally chose the apartment recommended by my friends. The service attitude is very good, the room is clean and the facilities are complete. The environment is very awkward, strolling on the plank road by the sea, letting the sea breeze blow, listening to the whispers of the waves, enjoying the tranquility and freedom of this moment, it is really cool! recommend

I genuinely recommend this hotel – it offers incredible value for money! The rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, with meticulous attention to detail, making for a very comfortable stay. The location is superb, very close to nearby attractions and within walking distance, saving a lot of travel time. Downstairs, there's a bustling seafood night market with a huge variety of food options, making it super convenient for a stroll and a bite to eat in the evening. The biggest surprise was the observation deck on the 20th floor; the views are unbeatable, offering panoramic cityscapes and creating the perfect atmosphere for photos. The hotel's decor is exquisite and elegant, the environment is graceful, and the service is very attentive. Overall, it's a perfect experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The sea-view room completely exceeded our expectations! Stepping out, we were greeted by an unobstructed view of the ocean. Waking up in the morning, we could watch the sun slowly rise from the sea horizon right from our bed – it was absolutely beautiful! The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers were spotless. For those who don't like soft pillows, they even offered silicone pillows, which was a nice touch. The gym was amazing! They had dumbbells of various weights, making it the best hotel gym I've ever encountered (excluding outsourced ones). This was a truly pleasant surprise! The breakfast was delicious too. They had hash browns, which I love, along with a variety of freshly baked bread and fruits. The selection was rich and fresh. It would be even better if they provided a makeup mirror; it would make getting ready much more convenient.
