Environment: This is the only hotel inside the scenic area, offering exclusive 24-hour views of the waterfall. Facilities: The rooms are a bit small and the facilities are a bit dated. Lunch and dinner buffets are available for around 300 Brazilian Reals, and both are quite rich. I recommend booking the waterfall afternoon tea, but I was double-charged when I paid, and the hotel said they would refund it.

The hotel room was decent, but the location was absolutely fantastic – right next to the Bird Park and across from the mighty Iguazu Falls. As a resort, it truly had everything you could ask for, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Driving to the city center only took about 20 minutes. I was particularly impressed by the hot air balloon ride on Friday afternoon, offering breathtaking views over three countries and the rainforest.
