Although the Shangri-La Hotel Fuzhou has been open for many years, it is exceptionally well-maintained. The public areas, corridors, and rooms are all spotless, with no signs of wear or an outdated smell. The entire hotel still carries that distinctive Shangri-La fragrance. Every detail in the room is meticulously cared for! Its elegant and upscale ambiance remains captivating. The TV is large, high-definition, and even has a rewind function, which is quite rare for international brand hotels. The bedding and furniture are very comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious and well-appointed! The swimming pool and gym are large, and the water temperature is perfect! Regarding dining, the Horizon Club's offerings are truly excellent, especially breakfast. Many of the à la carte options are delicious. I had planned to try the Chinese restaurant, Rongfu, but the generous breakfast each day filled me up so much that I couldn't make room for other dining options. All the staff do a fantastic job. The housekeeping aunties diligently clean the rooms every day, and the ladies at the Horizon Club are warm, attentive, and professional! Special mention goes to Cindy Weng, who approaches her work with passion every day, providing the most thoughtful service to guests! On our second day, we had to leave early for another city and didn't return until almost midnight. As the taxi approached, seeing the Shangri-La Hotel lit up brightly gave me a sudden sense of warmth. I knew that as soon as I stepped inside, the day's fatigue and the unease of being in a strange city late at night would instantly disappear. The Shangri-La Hotel's style is unique: noble, elegant, warm, meticulous, and thoughtful! Yes, for me, Shangri-La represents warmth!

I was very satisfied with this hotel. Upon arrival, they upgraded my room, and for the May Day holiday, they even prepared a festive welcome gift – a truly delightful surprise! The room was an Executive King, very spacious, and even included a hot tub with bath salts for a relaxing soak. The slippers were of good quality, not the usual disposable fabric type. Breakfast selection was quite good for a four-star hotel, featuring hot dishes. You could even customize your own hot pot with options like beef eye, fish balls, and more. It really had a distinctive Fujian flavor.

For my trip to Fuzhou, I chose the Sanmar Hilton by the Min River, and overall, the experience was quite reliable. The most unique feature is definitely its 'sky lobby' – check-in is on the 40th floor. As soon as you step out of the elevator, the panoramic view is stunning, and the front desk staff were efficient. I stayed in a high-floor river view room (48th floor), and the full-height windows offered an absolutely fantastic view. By day, you can watch boats on the Min River, and by night, it's the bustling CBD city lights. Being able to take in the entire city's scenery from bed was a huge plus. The room itself was spacious and well-laid out. The bedding had that classic 'cloud-like' feel, and there was a good selection of pillows, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub, which was great for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The housekeeper also thoughtfully checked in daily to ask about any replenishment needs, which was another nice touch.

Cleanliness: Excellent, everything was very clean, and the bathroom smelled fresh. Ambiance: Even if you don't go to tourist sites, staying at the hotel is perfectly sufficient. There are plenty of entertainment options and the scenery is beautiful. Service: They basically granted every request. Staff would proactively ask if we needed a shuttle or anything else when they saw us. The travel photos turned out great, and they even sent fresh, delicious fruit the next day. The breakfast had a wide variety, and the taste was decent. Overall, the hotel was the most satisfying part of our Wuyishan trip. It's definitely worth staying again.

Luxurious hotel. We booked 3 rooms. They gave some of us a pleasant surprise by providing a good night message with local snacks and eye masks. Some of us didn't receive it but they quickly brought them when I called the room service. Luggage storage service was provided. It's 5-star so many services are expected. Would return and recommend to friends for sure.

Our stay was fantastic! Legal, our butler, was incredibly kind and polite, and handled our check-in super efficiently. We arrived early and couldn't get a king-size bed, but they upgraded our room for free. The room was spotless, even the corners were perfectly clean. The hotel breakfast was also excellent with a great variety of options.

Excellent service and well-equipped facilities. The room was clean, and the environment was fantastic. The cleaning lady on the afternoon shift provided exceptional service!

I booked the 'influencer-favorite' room that offers views of both Jinjiang Bridge and the Ferris Wheel. Upon check-in, the staff told me there's only one room of that type on each floor – and the view outside the window was absolutely unbeatable! In the evening, we took a stroll along the river on the opposite bank, and it was just a short walk to the foot of Jinjiang Bridge, which was super convenient! The complimentary afternoon tea looked great and tasted delicious, and the breakfast was also very rich, allowing me to try almost all of Quanzhou's local specialties! As for the Huian Nü traditional costume experience (1 set): I honestly couldn't appreciate it, so I just tried it on in the room and then changed right out of it. 🤣

🌈 Xiamen's 'Shanghai Peace Hotel,' 'Guangzhou Aiqun Hotel' 🙋 Took my parents to Xiamen and wanted them to experience something different. 👏 Lujiang Garden is full of charm and boasts an excellent location. 🌸 It's right next to the entrance of Zhongshan Road, directly opposite the Xiamen Citizen Ferry terminal. 🍃 Booked a family room, and we got to sleep with the beautiful night view of Gulangyu Island. 👌 The oversized tatami mat could easily fit four children, no problem. 🍜 The booking included a buffet afternoon tea and a semi-buffet breakfast. 🍸 The afternoon tea is on the first floor – just think of it as an executive lounge. 🥂 The cocktails were good; I had two. 🥑 Breakfast is served in the scenic restaurant on the 7th floor, with fantastic outdoor views. 🧇 It's a semi-buffet, where you can scan to order dishes like bird's nest and shark fin, Shacha noodles, Eggs Benedict, and tuna crisps. The mixed scallops, smoked salmon, and seaweed shrimp cakes available on-site were all excellent. It makes sense for a single breakfast to cost 168 RMB. ✨ We had a very comfortable stay. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance.

Our overall experience during this stay was incredibly satisfying. The pool team, in particular, was outstanding. Special mention goes to Chen and Li, who worked from 6 AM to 3 PM; they displayed exceptional professionalism. They were consistently focused and responsible during their shifts, never distracted by their phones, always attentive to the children's safety, and provided meticulous and appropriate service. Their dedication and expertise left us with a very deep and positive impression of the hotel, even making us consider extending our stay. While I don't recall the names of the other pool staff, they too left a strong and positive impression.
