I rarely write reviews, but this time I really have to, because I'm so incredibly touched. I absolutely must thank Manager Lily for making our trip such a perfect experience. We were truly overjoyed, and because of that, my impression of this hotel is fantastic 👍: This trip was with my two elderly parents and a 4-year-old child, and I was genuinely nervous. Could I take good care of everyone? Would the journey go smoothly? Then, right at the hotel entrance, we met Manager Lily. With a radiant smile, she immediately offered to carry two large suitcases for me. She chatted with us all the way to our room, asking how we were, and once inside, she meticulously explained how to use all the lights and appliances. She even reminded us to close the balcony screen door to keep out mosquitoes. I was so happy and felt so warmly cared for – it was like drinking ice-cold spring water when you're parched, and the fatigue from traveling instantly vanished. After resting a bit, we were ready to explore the ancient town. It was our first time in Fenghuang, and we had no idea where to start. Luckily, on the first floor, Manager Lily had arranged maps and gave us a detailed explanation of a sightseeing route. She even arranged for the hotel car to drop us off at the entrance of the ancient town. And after we finished exploring, Manager Lily again arranged for a car to pick us up from the ancient town and bring us back to the hotel. With both elderly family members and a child, this trip was truly effortless and delightful. All my previous worries were gone, and the journey was completed perfectly. That's why I'm seriously writing this review. This trip gave me an insight: Beautiful scenery is certainly appealing, and hotels with elegant environments make you comfortable, but what truly touches people's hearts and makes them cherish memories is undoubtedly the most sincere service and the most thoughtful arrangements, making you want to stay forever 👍. Thank you, Manager Lily! I've already made plans with her to stay again in October 🌹

My stay at Grand Hyatt Changsha truly exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely perfect; right downstairs, you'll find Wenheyou and Pozi Street, making dining, drinking, and shopping incredibly convenient. From my room, I could see both Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, and the high-altitude river view was breathtaking. Taking a bath while enjoying the night view from the tub was pure bliss. The freshly made rice noodles for breakfast were incredibly authentic, and the roast duck and chopped chili fish head at Xiangjiang 36 are definitely worth a special trip. The amenities, like Balmain toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer, showed great attention to detail. The service was also very thoughtful; I didn't have to worry about a thing throughout my stay. The front desk and concierge service were excellent; everyone was smiling, enthusiastic, and professional, making me feel truly at home. If you're coming to Changsha, this is the only place you need to stay. I'll definitely be back!

A hotel which is about 2 years old, everything is new. We were quite impressed with the smart controls in the room. We can command it to close the curtains, turn off n on the lights, ask about the temperature for the day etc. We opted for rooms with the mountain view and we could see it from the room window every-day subject to weather conditions. Waiting for the rooms when we arrived, the reception was very nice to explain to us in detail which route to take to tianmen mountain, zhangjiajie grand canyon, National Forest Park (Avater mountains). We decided to make our base at this hotel while taking the didi (1+ hr to n 1+hr back) to the grand canyon n national forest park. It is a hassle to travel around those areas with luggages. The cableway to tianmen mountain is 10 mins walk, very convenient. Be prepared to walk a lot. Lucky there is a foot n body massage on the 4th floor of the hotel. It was a saver to our legs after a long day at tianmen mountain. There were eateries around but we were not used to the spicy n oily food, the San xia guo is a hot item sold around there, we stayed away from restaurants selling San xia guo after one meal with it, we did not like it. We try to find restaurants with food that was gentler on our gut like haidilao n Korean BBQ buffet. There is a breakfast restaurant 5 mins walk from the hotel which is a heaven as the food is more to our liking, they even had fresh soy bean, dumplings, non spicy noodle soup. The hotel breakfast was not bad, good n light. Please get the meicha which is a herbal tea from zhangjiajie, good for relaxing before sleep and it is said to be good for the 3 highs. Available in the shopping areas, the store at the lobby of the hotel sells it too. Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, good amenities, good location, good views. Just a feedback on one morning where we out for breakfast and left our belongings unlocked, we put the not to disturb door sign on the door but the housekeeper came in to clean the room. Please inform the housekeeper not to enter the room when there is no instructions to clean the room on the door sign.

The hotel room was exceptionally spacious with a classic decor, and the bedding was of very high quality and incredibly comfortable. The butler service exceeded my expectations and truly impressed me. Before check-in, the butler, Grace, proactively contacted me to inquire about my needs. Throughout my stay, whatever I required, the butler responded promptly and resolved my issues, making me feel exceptionally cared for. The hotel offers a wide variety of dining options, with a diverse breakfast selection and a pleasant restaurant ambiance. Highly recommended!

Facilities: The hotel has been open for some years, so the facilities aren't super new, but the room was quite spacious and had pretty much everything you'd need. There's no minibar in the room. The swimming pool is open from 3 PM to just past 9 PM. The hotel is surrounded by schools, so there are plenty of small eateries and restaurants nearby. The soundproofing in the rooms could use some improvement... Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: The hotel is quite close to the highway exit, which is convenient. Service: The bellboy in the lobby was very polite. When we were leaving, he proactively and warmly greeted us, helped with our luggage, and even brought it to the car. I forgot his name, I don't think I saw a name tag on his uniform. The hotel breakfast was all very clean, and the variety was quite rich.

An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental! Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops. Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective. Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby. Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea. Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home. I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

This hotel really lives up to its nickname of 'high-altitude All Seasons.' The facilities are basic and the decor feels very perfunctory. They just put two mattresses on the floor and called it a bed – there isn't even a proper bed frame. The bathroom is equally shoddy, using the cheapest possible door. The overall minimalist style isn't bad, but the materials used are just terrible. As a hotel brand member, I got an upgraded room. When I checked in, I noticed the sink was clogged. They sent someone to fix it right away, but they pulled out a lot of hair, which was disgusting. I reported it to the hotel, but got no response. Trip.com compensated me with some points. My final advice: spend a bit more and stay at the Park Hyatt; it's newer.

This stay was a perfect experience, a definite five-star recommendation! The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it hassle-free whether you're here for leisure or business. The lobby is elegantly decorated and grand, the public areas are clean and tidy, and the greenery is perfectly placed, creating a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. The room was spacious and bright, with great natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. The cleanliness was top-notch, with impeccable attention to detail, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. The service was warm and attentive; check-in was efficient and quick, and the staff were friendly and patient. With its elegant environment, convenient location, and incredible value for money, I would definitely choose to stay here again next time. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

I highly recommend the 'Confession Room' at this hotel! I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I entered – the balloons and rose petals were beautifully arranged without being over-the-top, and the swan towel art was incredibly romantic. The facilities are top-notch, the mattress is soft and comfortable, and the cleanliness is impeccable; even the corners were spotless. The sheets and towels had a subtle, pleasant scent, which was very reassuring. What truly stood out was the service. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, helping with luggage and recommending local attractions, and housekeeping responded incredibly fast. The overall environment is quiet and serene, with an expansive view from the window. The price is also reasonable. I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again.

This hotel on Fenghuang Ancient Town mountain offered an amazing experience! The misty mountain air was so fresh and humid, making me feel incredibly relaxed. The rooms are spacious, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The huge bathtub was a dream for a relaxing soak. The balcony views of the mountains are enchanting. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Best of all, it's far from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a tranquil and quiet atmosphere – the vibe was just perfect. It was a truly comfortable and perfect stay. Our whole family traveled together, booking three standard rooms and one king room. Both the adults and children were very satisfied, and the hot springs were wonderfully relaxing. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all highly professional and enthusiastic, always promptly addressing any requests. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit! ❤️❤️❤️

AAnonymous UserThis hotel blew it out of the water for us. They made our trip to Zhangjiajie a million times better than it would have been if we had stayed elsewhere. It all started 2 months before our stay. Our hotel butler reached out to me via WeChat and answered all the questions we had about everything. I told our butler that we would be arriving at 9pm and she arranged for a vehicle to pick us up from the airport. The cost was 100 yuan which is a bit steeper than a Didi but I felt it was well worth it since the drive is more than 30 minutes and we were able to guarantee that all our luggages would fit. A week before our stay she reached out to us and asked if we needed to book tickets for tianmendong and for zhangjiajie forest. She booked both for us with the times we wanted and said we could pay her once we arrived. I double checked the prices and they were exactly the same as what we would have paid if we booked it ourselves. But with her help everything went very smoothly. The day before we arrived, the driver called me and confirmed that he would pick us up from the airport. The second our flight arrived, he called and confirmed that he was waiting at the gate. Once we came out, he was standing there with a sign with my name on it. It was all very cute and he parked somewhere convenient for us to get picked up. The drive over was smooth and efficient. Our butler also confirmed that she saved us afternoon tea and would have congee ready for us as well. Service was already excelling beyond control at this point. Once we arrived at the hotel, we checked in with her on the first floor and she gave us a quick rundown of the facilities and everything. When we arrived in our room, it was clean and the bed were nice and big. I also liked that they use Jo Loves for their toiletries. The afternoon tea and congee came up shortly after we walked in. Our room faced this courtyard that was beautiful. Felt like we were living in a fairytale. I liked that the blinds were automatic which was great. They also have a Xiao Du assistant that can help control blinds, temperature and the TV as well. Love the technology. My only complaint about this hotel is that it gets a bit hot at night. You need to have the aircon on and the window open in order to be at a decent temperature. Breakfast was another highlight. The chef who also takes away the dishes, is super friendly and so is the auntie who makes the noodles. He was so nice and even made tomato egg when we requested it. The bread etc. Wasn't that great BUT the Chinese dishes he made were all really good. Theres this pork rib dish he makes that is so good. For all 4 days that we stayed there, the food he made was different. Another great function they have was the robot delivery service. Yes they delivery food but also they have a QR code with products that they have available for free. For example you could order a feet soaking tub (great for long days) and you could also order face washing clothes, one time use underwear, rain jackets. Basically anything you could think of, they probably have. The afternoon tea and the congee is available everyday so keep that in mind for days you can't find any decent food outside. We noticed that they had traditional clothing available and so I asked the butler about it. All you need to do is book a timeslot with them and they have a photographer come in and take photos of you. The photographer in the end ended up taking 120 photos of the 3 of us. She was so professional. She edits around 5 for you and the rest are just raw which is great. Location wise, this hotel is perfect if you are visiting zhangjiajie forest. The south entrance is literally right there. Like 2 minute walk. It's literally right next to the south exit too. There's a KFC nearby which is great and also a Chagee. If you walk one street down there are tons of eateries. Overall: this hotel was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

GGuest UserAt Yijian 6500: In Changsha, I found another definition of 'home.' The moment I stepped into Yijian 6500, I knew my trip to Changsha would be different because of this hotel. It doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like an old friend I've known for years, who has already prepared everything, just waiting for my return. From the moment I was greeted at the entrance, 'feeling at home' was no longer just an adjective. The house manager's gentle smile and warm greeting instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. During check-in, a cup of perfectly warm tea was handed to me; that comforting warmth spread from my tongue to my heart. What surprised me even more was that the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room! This unexpected gesture made any initial feeling of unfamiliarity completely disappear. The house manager accompanied me throughout, like a dedicated personal butler, meticulously explaining every detail of the room. From how to use the smart devices to the carefully prepared welcome snacks, everything revealed the host's attentiveness. What truly charmed me was the exquisite canvas bag, which not only contained an eye mask and earplugs to help me sleep soundly but was also a gift I could take home! This small gesture was full of human touch. There was even a Rubik's cube personally made by the hotel in the room; after I thoughtfully solved it, I received a coupon for Tea's Express! This clever integration of fun and surprise into the service made me both play and drink, lifting my spirits. At Yijian 6500, my taste buds were also exquisitely cared for. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to my room. Whether it was a meal to energize me in the morning, delicate refreshments during a lazy afternoon, or a comforting supper late at night, I could enjoy delicious food without leaving my room. This feeling of being so meticulously looked after was truly wonderful. The house manager also thoughtfully provided us with 'Changsha Food Guide,' 'Changsha Attraction Recommendations,' and 'Trendy Street Play Guide' via WeChat. These guides weren't generic information found online; they were filled with local insider tips and practical advice, allowing us to experience the charm of Changsha more deeply. Coupled with free Wi-Fi and professional travel photography services, the entire stay experience was simply perfect. Leaving Yijian 6500, my heart was filled with reluctance. Afterward, I checked into the W Hotel, intending to experience the standardized service of an international chain, but the stark contrast felt like night and day. While the W Hotel certainly boasts modernity and luxury, the genuine, warm service at Yijian 6500 is something no standardized process can replicate. In that moment, my only thought was: I really want to go back. Yijian 6500, you are more than just a hotel; you allowed me to find another definition of 'home' in Changsha. Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable journey.

RRuben S.B.I've been Lucky to travel the world for already more than 40 years either for business or leisure, and this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at regarding hospitality and charming service, far beyond what you expect from an excellent boutique hotel. Weeks before arriving, housekeeper Xiao Tang set up a WeChat group to help us get tickets in advance for all the spots we wanted to visit (Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie National Park, Furong Ancient Town, Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge, Baofeng Lake...). He was incredibly kind, efficient, and proactive, even arranging a private driver to pick us up at the airport. At the hotel, we realized this excellence is shared by all staff. Ms. Yuan Yuan, our butler, was amazingly helpful. Special thanks to Sunny, who speaks perfect English; her endless kindness and tips helped us enjoy our excursions avoiding crowds. The hotel features a special charm mixing modernity with a mystical cave style. The pool view during breakfast and from our panoramic room was worth it. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. However, as a constructive critique, the lack of a closet meant keeping clothes in our luggage on the floor for 4 days. Also, the lack of separation between the bed and the bathroom means no privacy at all, which might be uncomfortable for some guests. Breakfast had a lot of variety, especially the Chinese food, though the Western pastry and bread could improve. The location is ideal: right by the river, a few minutes' walk to the core streets of Wulingyuan, yet very quiet for a good rest. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone exploring this beautiful region while enjoying outstanding human value. A big thank you to Xiao Tang, Sunny, Yuan Yuan, and all their colleagues. We will surely come back!

XXiangrikuigongheguoHad a wonderful three days in Zhangjiajie, and 50% of that enjoyment was thanks to the hotel. It's truly worthy of being ranked number one on Hunan Province's list of boutique guesthouses. The service, room cleaning, and food were all exceptional and thoughtfully done. I booked a two-bedroom suite. The room was very spacious with a smart layout, and I could see the peaks of the National Forest Park right from my bed. Being a standalone unit, it was incredibly quiet. The pillows and duvet were so comfortable that even with my nervous disposition, I slept soundly for all three nights. It would be even better if eye masks were provided. The butler service was also very prompt. Besides providing pick-up and drop-off to the West Gate of the park, they also offered timely recommendations for tour routes based on visitor traffic, making our exploration of the National Forest Park incredibly smooth.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Zhangjiajie National Forest Park for four nights, and my overall experience was fantastic; I was extremely satisfied with my stay. There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel, making dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel's attention to detail was particularly thoughtful; each room was stocked with four bottles of drinking water daily, and the lobby offered complimentary cold drinks and various beverages. Every detail showed great care. My overall stay was impeccable, and the value for money was outstanding. Next time I visit Zhangjiajie, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

GGuest UserMy husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our five-night stay at Annica. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly, attentive staff who immediately took care of our luggage, treated us to a beautiful afternoon tea, and ensured everything was seamless throughout our stay. A special and heartfelt mention must go to Lyra, who truly made our experience exceptional. She worked tirelessly to organise all our tickets and tailor our itinerary to suit the weather and how we felt each day. When plans needed to change due to poor weather, Lyra handled everything effortlessly. Each evening, she took time to sit with us, review the next day’s plans, and make sure we felt relaxed and prepared. She was consistently friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Lyra is a true asset and an inspiration to anyone in the service industry. Our room at Annica was stunning, with breathtaking mountain views, a dreamy bathtub complete with a complimentary bath bomb, and a comfortable living space where we enjoyed watching Avatar in the evenings after dinner. The food at Annica was divine—fresh, flavourful, beautifully prepared, and authentically delicious. We also adored Juju the cat, who added an extra layer of warmth and charm to our stay. We cannot recommend Annica highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit. A special thank you again to Lyra for making our stay so memorable. See you soon, Annica.
