Kaopujun。Zhangjiajie East Gate Boutique B&B | 50 Meters from Scenic Area Entrance, Unparalleled Service, You Won't Want to Leave!
For this trip to Zhangjiajie, we spent the first two nights enjoying a slow pace on the west side, then moved to the Guanzhi S B&B near the East Gate for the next two nights.
This B&B positions itself as a boutique hotel, not just a regular guesthouse. From the moment you step in, you know it's something special – an artist's entrance, with an artistic atmosphere permeating every corner. The details are meticulously crafted. Many guests here are international tourists and discerning travelers who appreciate quality. It's no exaggeration to say this is the most thoughtful and attentive service I've ever experienced.
📍Location: 50 meters from the East Gate, 7-seater shuttle service provided
The B&B is about 50 meters from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, making park access incredibly convenient. However, because it's so close to the scenic area, it's located in a restricted zone. ⚠️ You MUST use Didi (ride-hailing app) to get directly to the B&B's doorstep. Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. It's also easy to find restaurants after leaving the park, as the area around the East Gate is full of eateries.
🛏️Bathtub King Room: Refined Down to the Details
We stayed in a bathtub king room. The room isn't huge but is exquisite in every detail. The bedding is comfortable, and a relaxing soak in the tub at night washes away all the day's fatigue. If you need anything, just scan the QR code by the bed, and it'll be delivered in minutes – a godsend for busy parents!
👶Parents with Kids Rejoice! All These are Free!
Forgot kids' toothbrushes, slippers, or shower gel? The B&B has it all; just ask the front desk, and they'll bring it to your room. There's also a 5 sqm kids' play area with a slide, building blocks, and a small rocking horse. Once the kids are in there, they won't want to leave.
☕️Good Morning · Good Afternoon · Good Evening, Service is Superb!
This is where the true boutique hotel service shines through:
🌅Good Morning · Huanchi – Exquisite breakfast, with both Chinese and Western options.
🍰Good Afternoon · Afternoon Tea – Come back from exploring, enjoy tea and desserts, and instantly feel re-energized.
🌙Good Evening · Evening Porridge + Cocktails – Warm porridge for the stomach, a little nightcap, and finally some alone time for the adults after the kids are asleep.
📸Free Travel Photography + Ethnic Costume Experience!
The most delightful surprise – free ethnic costume experience + travel photography! All original photos are provided, with professional touch-ups included! They even gave us a souvenir gift upon check-out. So thoughtful!
✅Countless Value-Added Services:
Shuttle service | Free kids' amenities | Free travel photography | Afternoon tea | Evening porridge + cocktails | Souvenir gift… This is, without a doubt, the most attentive B&B I've ever stayed in.
Ps: Remember to use Didi to get to the B&B's entrance~ 🚗

A very unique and memorable stay in Zhangjiajie!
We stayed 2 nights in the Morning Glow King Suite Bedroom. The highlight of this homestay is its cave concept. The reception area is huge, impressive, and beautifully designed, creating a real wow factor upon arrival.
The property also features a cave restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be arranged with advance booking. There is also a cosy cave lounge for guests to relax.
Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
Location is excellent. The homestay is hidden behind the famous theatre performance venue but only a short walk to the main street, making it convenient while remaining quiet.
Highly recommended for travellers looking for a unique accommodation experience in Zhangjiajie. The cave setting alone makes it worth staying here.

The service was excellent. Before we even checked in, the hotel created a service group chat and contacted us daily to arrange room cleaning and afternoon tea. The mini-bar was also restocked with drinks and jellies that the kids loved. The environment is wonderful, full of historical charm everywhere you look. The rooms, after renovation, are very comfortable. Right outside, there's a bustling night market, but the hotel's location is perfect – a quiet oasis in the midst of the lively area, so our room was very peaceful for resting. Breakfast is a semi-buffet with a set menu plus self-service options. The kids really enjoyed the pan-fried beef short ribs, and the adults can choose the very flavorful dry-mixed rice noodles.

Guest UserI arranged for my daughter to travel with her dad, and we were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie! The lobby's facilities and amenities are very grand, with complimentary unlimited ice cream and drinks, plus popcorn. A little further in, there are also local cultural and creative products. The staff were all wonderful. On the second floor, there's a laundry room and a gym. The room's cleanliness was also super impressive! The breakfast in the restaurant offered a wide and comprehensive variety, with both Chinese and Western options – absolutely loved it! The surrounding restaurants are also very unique. The front desk recommended nearby scenic spots and shows, which I also really enjoyed. I was so satisfied with the hotel's exterior, facilities, cleanliness, and service. I hope more people come to the Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It's truly amazing, highly recommended!

Guest UserFor this trip to Changsha, I chose two hotels with completely different styles. One was a high-rise with a storm SPA experience and hot stone sauna, and the other was this 6500·Chaozong Street B&B, located in Chaozong Ancient Street. The experience here was simply unbeatable, truly the highlight of my Changsha trip.
The excellent experience started even before we arrived. The hotel is about 20 meters inside Chaozong Ancient Street, so cars can't drive in. Our little butler was already waiting at the entrance of the ancient street, helped us with our luggage after we got out of the car, poured iced water, checked us in, and escorted us to our room. There's a special little Rubik's Cube by the bed; my child solved it and exchanged it for a cup of Tea Yan Yue Se. My favorable impression instantly soared.
Then my child happily went to do handicrafts, and I joyfully went to take photos. The travel photography service was also superb; the guide was patient throughout, with no extra charges. After the shoot, I received over 200 raw photos and 9 retouched ones. I recall having to spend an extra thousand yuan for travel photography at the Anmo Hotel in Yinchuan. My child made a Song brocade wind chimes and quietly told me they wanted to make something else. The little butler overheard and readily allowed them to make another herbal painting. My child was absolutely thrilled. After they finished, the little butler took care of drying and framing it. An artwork, complete! ✅
After all the activities, we started enjoying afternoon tea. The desserts weren't too sweet, and the coffee was delicious. Afterwards, we could head out to explore. Upon returning, I found that the little butler had thoughtfully arranged a tatami mat and even provided a late-night snack. I ordered congee and soup, which were very comforting, and then had a wonderful night's sleep.
Breakfast could be delivered to the room or eaten in the lobby. Everything was freshly made, nutritionally balanced, a blend of Chinese and Western styles, and delicious.
There was a minor hiccup when checking out and taking a taxi to the South Station. I muttered that I had originally planned to have lunch at the South Station. The little butler heard me and quickly went to the kitchen to pack some food for me. I was stunned, such thoughtful service! I was so touched.
So, who is this beautiful, kind, universally adored, and charming little butler? I must mention her name: it's Miss Meiling! A hundred thumbs up!

Guest UserFor the ninth season of our summer family trip, we planned a Changsha-Zhangjiajie route to explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Zhangjiajie with my 10-year-old daughter. We scheduled a four-day, three-night itinerary in Zhangjiajie, marking my return to this area after more than a decade. After comparing several good hotels, I ultimately chose the Hilton Garden Inn, which provided a very comfortable stay and warm service for this family vacation.
**Location:** The main activities planned were Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and the Charming Xiangxi show. Traveling with a child in the summer, comfort and convenience were key considerations. The hotel's location is excellent, relatively quiet and secluded, yet very convenient for getting around. It's only 2KM from the East Gate of the scenic area. Nearby dining and shopping options are also plentiful.
**Environment:** I hadn't been back for over ten years, and I was surprised by how much the Wulingyuan District of Zhangjiajie has changed, with several high-end hotels now available. After comparing them, I still opted for the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel's layout is well-designed, featuring a large garden and a fantastic outdoor pool 🏊. Every day after returning from the scenic area, my daughter would swim, while I headed to the gym 🏋️♀️, really giving it a vacation vibe 🏖️. My daughter also met many foreign children at the pool (the hotel hosted many foreign guests in the summer, from France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, Spain 🇪🇸, Russia 🇷🇺, Germany 🇩🇪, etc., with hardly any domestic tour groups).
**Room:** The rooms are all new, comfortable, and cozy, with excellent bedding. The in-room TV on-demand service was also great, with impressive picture quality. Most importantly, the smart room controls were very convenient, with one-touch switching between bright, soft, and night light modes.
**Service:** The Hilton brand certainly lives up to its reputation; all the staff I encountered at the hotel were very nice. There was a small hiccup during check-in, but when I mentioned my needs, the lobby manager, Ms. Joanna, promptly helped me resolve it. The personalized butler-style service from the lovely staff during our stay was also very thoughtful. A big thumbs up 👍 to the lovely staff! Also, the breakfast staff were all very nice, even replenishing breakfast for us when we arrived late, which I greatly appreciated.
**Stay Experience:** Choosing the Hilton Garden Inn for this trip was absolutely perfect. Both the room comfort and service quality were excellent, and I would definitely choose it again. It's especially wonderful for families with children during the summer; it truly feels like a vacation 🏖️ and is highly recommended to everyone.
**P.S.:** I was surprised to see how popular Zhangjiajie has become internationally. I met many European friends at the hotel, scenic spots, and bars. It seems the magic of Avatar has indeed boosted Zhangjiajie's appeal. While swimming, my daughter asked a Spanish 🇪🇸 boy, ”Do you like China?” and he replied, ”I like China, China is so beautiful!” Haha 😄

This guesthouse boasts absolutely stunning views and a beautiful, serene, and comfortable environment – truly on par with high-end luxury lodges abroad, but without the exorbitant price tag. The restaurant is also fantastic; I ate there for three days straight because the food was so good I didn't want to eat anywhere else. What really sets them apart, though, is their service. It's not the rigid, formal service you find at a five-star hotel; instead, it's incredibly thoughtful and attentive, always putting the guest's needs first. For example, if we ordered too much food, the restaurant would even proactively help us figure out how to save it for our next meal. Every other service detail was just as impressive – any request was met with a helpful response. It was such a comfortable and personalized experience. Getting to the West Gate of the Forest Park from here is also very convenient, as the guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services. They also provide incredibly detailed and professional advice based on your itinerary, making it completely stress-free for first-time visitors. I will definitely be back!

WailiwangStaying at Wotianju this trip was a delightful surprise! It's incredibly close to all the attractions, basically within ten minutes. We drove there ourselves, and the hotel itself is unbelievably huge – you even need to drive to get around inside! The front desk also gave us a free room upgrade, which made us really not want to leave. The hotel pays attention to details everywhere: the butler service is super responsive and on-call, the welcome fruit was chilled, and even a simple blanched lettuce at the Chinese restaurant was delicious. You can tell the chef really knows their stuff – it was fresh and not greasy. You could easily just stay at the hotel for all your eating, drinking, and entertainment needs. There's a huge lawn, and reading a book and having tea by the river under the trees was just incredibly relaxing; time just seemed to slow down. After dinner, we'd go swimming and then soak in the hot springs. Honestly, even though it's an outdoor hot spring, the cleanliness was excellent. Back where we're from, a hot spring of this quality for two people would cost about the same as a night's stay! I forgot my facial cleanser when we left, and the butler even arranged for SF Express to send it home – absolutely perfect! You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into the hotel's construction, design, and staff management. I would definitely come back to Zhangjiajie just for this hotel again. A hundred points!
