This is probably one of the best hotels in Limoges. The staff is very warm and nice. People in small cities are relatively nice. There is a Carrefour supermarket next to the hotel. It is not big, but it can satisfy us. We bought sausages that need to be heated before eating. When we returned to the hotel, the service staff was very good to help us heat them up. The breakfast is OK. The variety is not rich, but basically everything is available. The room is good, not small, the bathroom is large, the heating is sufficient, and the clothes washed every day are dried in half a day. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. The location should be considered good. It is a 10-minute drive from the train station and a 5-minute walk to the town hall. You can find the largest church in the city by walking along the town hall for about 10 minutes. It is an 18-20-minute walk from the commercial center of the old town. The roads in small cities are mostly uphill and downhill. Many small European cities are like this. If you walk, it is a good fitness exercise. There is a cat cafe in the city center, with many super cute cats, and the cake and coffee are also cost-effective. Overall, I am very satisfied.
If you are travelling to Bordeaux with a train, the hotel is just around 10 minute walk away. It is slightly further away from the city centre, However, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and it takes you to the centre in just few minutes. We booked the room with king bed and the room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. The shower was great and can’t recommend it enough. The bed was also amazing and very comfortable. There is room service everyday if you would like that also. However, there are few things to mention such as the aircon which didn’t work particularly great. We have put it on the minimum temperature setting which is 19 degrees and the room was definitely not getting cold enough. Additionally, the TV remote at times didn’t work particularly great which isn’t a big issue but something to note.
We also had purchased breakfast with our room and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone planning to stay here. Variety of choice and personally one of the few things I always wanted at hotel breakfast was to be able to do my boiled eggs the way I want to have it and you can at this hotel as there is a container with boiling water which you place your eggs in which was pleasantly surprising for me. Another thing I would also mention for breakfast is the waffle machine which also was used everyday of the stay.
Staff are friendly and it is very easy to check in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but just bear in mind the aircon may not be great.
The old building was decorated in a very picturesque way.Excellent breakfast. We checked in early morning and the receptionist said on his own initiative that he would talk to her colleague to extend the breakfast time. A gentleness that was very good.Check out until 11:30, which was very pleasant. They had a electric jar and a tea pump in the room. In the bathroom, a set of disposable with: coating, toothpaste, a barbecue, a squirting being with nails lining.
Very close to the station, I like the small balcony on the roadside. When the sun is good, I can chat with my colleagues next door over the retro fence.
Although Limoges is not a tourist city, we also stopped temporarily on the way to Lyon, but the city still gave us many surprises. Mercure’s hardware and software are good, the design is very modern, and the hotel facilities are relatively new. The rooms are definitely relatively large in Europe. The hotel is not far from the old city. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the most famous butcher shop street in the old city. It takes about 12-13 minutes to walk to Saint-Etienne Cathedral. There is a Chinese restaurant called Au Panda in Limoges. I talked directly with the owner and his wife what they wanted to eat, and the taste was quite good. They are famous for their hot pot, and they also have stir-fried dishes, which are much better than those foolish Chinese buffets!
It's a very good hotel. I really like it. The environment and hardware are very good. The location is superior, the scenery is beautiful, the service is considerate, the praise is great. I will stay next time
Self-service accommodation, the overall experience is great! The surrounding environment is safe and convenient! The hotel is fully equipped. There are toys, dining chairs, books for babies! With quality bedding, we slept well!
The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of Spain, in the heart of the city centre, in the heart of Spain, in the heart of Spain, in the heart of Spain, in the heart of Spain, in the heart of Spain, in the heart of Spain, in the heart of Spain, in the heart of Spain
Spacious room with good access to local transport. It would be better if the hotel didn't use disposable cups for environmental reasons. I think the hotel staff requires a bit more training. The hotel price is low for a 4 stars because it is not located in a tourist destination.
The hotel is modern, the rooms are well-equipped, clean, and the mattresses are very comfortable. The lobby is nice, with a place to work on the computer and sofas to have a drink with friends. Breakfast on the top floor offers a view of the wine city, but there are not many breakfast options. There is a swimming pool on the top floor and rock climbing on the hotel's exterior wall, but it's a pity that I didn't have time to experience it! It's a five-minute walk from the wine city, a little far from the city center, and can be reached within 20 minutes by tram. Very cost-effective!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is right across the road from the train station and tram/bus stops. I had a nice stay except for two things. First, the tap/shower water was too hot. A hotel staff showed me how to adjust the water temperature and said it was like this all in France. I of course disagree. I had stayed in two ibis hotels in Paris and Nantes just before checking in this Mercure. I had stayed in countless hotels throughout my 30 years of travels in Europe and had never encountered this ”scalding water” issue. In any case, the solution was to let the water run an exceptionally long time till the very hot water ran out. Then I could adjust the temperature. I come from a place where people treasure fresh water and find this unacceptable. As the hotel take international guests, perhaps there should be notices/instructions in the bathroom on how to deal with this ”scalding water” issue.
Second, the coffee provided in the room was below expectation. A 4-star hotel should do better than that. I was glad about the kettle in the room, though.
EEffyOhh🟢 The location was very convenient and easy to travel around. We parked there and then used the tramway to get around. Convenient and easy. The inside of the building looks fresh and good. The rooms were quite big so we could spread everywhere. Surprised to see the toilets and showers separated, but enjoyable. Large choice for the breakfast for 18€ but had to wait sometimes for refill.
🔴 the staff wasn't really friendly except if you were the one to do your approach and talk to them. There was an alarm early morning during our stay and no-one was at the reception to greet us and tell us if we had to evacuate or anything. When we (other clients and us) told the réceptionnist it wasn't normal she got upset and replied back instead of apologising or anything. The staff didn't know what they were supposed to do in this case. Not reassuring if there's an actual fire someday.
🟡 cleaning wasn't amazing but could have been worse so no comment on that.
JJOENathalie and David were delightful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Lovely home, beautifully furnished room, modern facilities and extremely well maintained. Spotlessly clean. Relaxed, quiet and feeling like one was living in one's own country home apartment. Quiet location in the center of the town - easy to access and free parking public parking within a one-minute walk from the residence. Private peaceful garden with nice pool which is excellent for just sitting back to read a book with a nice bottle of wine. Breakfast choice was extensive with nice touches prepared by David including freshly prepared home-made preserves. Would thoroughly recommend this wonderful accommodation as an excellent base for discovering both St Emillion and the surrounding area. Have stayed in many hotels and apartments around the Saint-Emilion area but Pavillon de Millesimes rates as one of the best. We will definitely be back.
GGuest UserA cosy little hotel in an old stone building, with a restaurant facing the courtyard in the old town of Bayonne. It's a little far from the central station (20min walk with luggage), but ideal if you want to immerse in the old town feel. There are also bus stops nearby.
The restaurant serves good food (not the best but still convenient if you're too tired to go out). I liked that they had nice black tea from a local tea brand at breakfast and in the rooms. The amenity was decent but my first room had nice bathrobes and no tissue box, and my second room had a tissue box but no bathrobe. I got allergic reactions in one room from the room fragrance. The staff aren’t very organized but friendly and kind.
Overall I enjoyed my stay but I think it didn’t match the price.
卢卢Breakfast two files, the rich file is a bit expensive, the other is very good, a good place to go, there is a parking lot. Suitable for the whole family, the room has two large beds divided into two areas, which can be separated by curtains.
GGuest UserA bit far from the center (20 minutes walk). Excellent breakfasts (with oysters and champagne (not sparkling or cremant))! The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly! We were there out of season, it rained a lot, so the umbrellas at the reception were very useful.

YysaetsebHotel perfectly located, very convenient baggage service, charming staff, calm despite the proximity of the tram
To see the cleaning of the unfortunate rooms*****t, we stayed there 2 nights but the room was not cleaned the draps just pulled with the bed more or less made, the toilets were not cleaned, the room bag was not aspired and there was also a wallpaper we had to go back to the reception so see again for a 4 stars
Otherwise at top
WWingki3112The hotel is just as amazing as we expected. The room was cozy and clean. We loved the spa facilities, sauna and hammam (the pool temperature could be even warmer). Service was great too. Parking was available for 17 euro for the whole stay (1 night). It's just at the seafront and you could walk out to the beach from the hotel spa/pool. Services were exceptional too. There are room service available and also two restaurants (menu seemed nice, with vegetarian options but we didn't have the chance to try it). Will recommend it!
