I had an extended stay at the Grand Hyatt Shenyang during the May Day holiday, and my experience was excellent throughout. A special thank you to Dino for their meticulous and patient service, as well as their prompt responses. Every request was handled efficiently and properly. Even with the busy holiday crowd, they maintained professionalism and a gentle demeanor, skillfully arranging my check-in and itinerary details, proactively resolving various issues, and providing thoughtful and prompt service. The hotel's overall environment was comfortable, and the service was consistently good, making my entire stay worry-free and relaxing. It's truly an ideal choice for a long holiday stay.

The hotel is clean and tidy, with good sanitary conditions, warm and thoughtful service staff, and a rich breakfast. The room was completely in accordance with my message. It was just that two young people next door were fighting all night, which made some noise, and the elderly at home felt that they didn't have a good rest. But overall, I was satisfied. I didn't expect to find such a cost-effective hotel in Panjin.

The front desk staff, Angel, had a warm smile and made the check-in process quick and efficient. The bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the shower had consistent and comfortable water pressure. The hotel also features a heated pool and a 24-hour gym, which I was very satisfied with. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shenyang.

Facilities: Well-equipped, and the service hotline was answered promptly. Hygiene: Excellent environment, with a wardrobe and various complimentary amenities. Ambiance: It wasn't yet the season for air conditioning, and as it's a fully enclosed hotel, the room temperature was a bit high. Service: Attentive, meticulous, and patient. This included room service, the hotel front desk, restaurant service, hosts, and guest relations like Ellie, all demonstrating the high standards of a five-star hotel. Notes: A small suggestion – the scent at the hotel entrance was a bit too strong. It triggered my rhinitis; the fragrance was indeed a bit overpowering.

Facilities: Standard hotel amenities. Hygiene: The cleaning staff (auntie) was very diligent; much appreciation to her hard work. Environment: The pick-up/drop-off area on the first floor was very crowded with many cars. The front desk on the 88th floor was excellent, with a vast view as soon as you step out of the elevator – comparable to Xiamen's Kang hotel. Service: Throughout our stay, we didn't see any bellhops or concierges guiding guests to the front desk for check-in. We drove ourselves and were carrying luggage, but the bellhop nearby acted as if he didn't see us. We booked an executive room but didn't even receive welcome fruit – we had to ask for the 'little tiger' (presumably a kids' amenity). We had noted in advance that we needed a children's toothbrush, bed rail, and small potty, but our request was ignored. There was nothing in the room, so we had to call again. Breakfast was indeed not good and very crowded. The executive lounge was decent. We were traveling with elderly parents and children, so we just wanted convenience. The service at Shangguan was excellent! Enjoying drinks with the kids, admiring the night view, and listening to live music was a great experience.

I came to Dandong specifically for the BBQ, and it definitely lived up to the hype – it had a great, lively atmosphere. I chose the best hotel in Dandong for my stay, and it was conveniently located not far from the BBQ restaurants, just a minimum taxi fare away. The hotel's service, cleanliness, and facilities were all excellent. The absolute best part was not having to go downstairs to pick up food deliveries; the front desk arranged for a robot to bring them directly to my room – that was truly amazing!

I contacted them in advance about early check-in and was pleasantly surprised as soon as I walked into the room. Hygiene: Overall good. Breakfast for big kids: They offer one complimentary breakfast for a big kid, but adults need to purchase two sets. It would be even better if this discount were more substantial. Service: Our housekeeper, Tina, was incredibly responsible! I'll definitely be looking for her next time~

I had a very satisfying stay. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to various places. There's a direct passage on the fourth floor to the mall, which is entirely dedicated to restaurants and an IMAX cinema. On the first basement floor, there's a supermarket and a florist. I bought live seafood from the supermarket and had the vendor steam it for me to take back to my room – the flower crabs and conches were absolutely amazing. Parking is available right outside, free of charge. The room facilities are great; the shower head and water temperature were perfect, and I used the washer and dryer multiple times. The hairdryer is also high-speed. Overall, everything was ideal.

First, the pros: 1. The sea view from the room is unbeatable. Lying in bed and watching the sea was incredibly relaxing. 2. The location is great. You can just walk downstairs and stroll around Xinghai Square, and the elevator offers a panoramic view of the entire square. 3. The service was decent. Most requests were met, but there were still some areas where they fell short. Cons: 1. The facilities are a bit dated. The shower water fluctuated between hot and cold, and the shower faucet was so confusing – it took me ages to figure it out by trial and error. It was also incredibly stiff and hard to turn, and I was worried about breaking it, which was a hassle. 2. The breakfast selection was too limited and felt quite perfunctory. The taste was just average. There wasn't even a coffee machine in the room. For 2000 a night during the May Day holiday, these facilities simply don't justify the price. 3. The windows were too dirty, which really impacted the beauty of my photos. 4. You have to go downstairs yourself to pick up food deliveries. As for luggage, they only helped us take it from the car to the front desk, not up to the room. 5. The parking in front of the lobby was chaotic. Some cars were blocking the entrance, and our taxi was stuck outside and couldn't get in. The security staff didn't do a good job of directing vehicles. Overall, it's a very average five-star hotel standard. It's definitely not worth 2000/day; it's more like a 1000-level hotel. The sea view premium probably accounts for a large portion of the room rate.

Hhongyanliu56Participated in the Dalian Marathon. This was my second time visiting Dalian, and just like my previous trip during the 2019 Qingming holiday, I stayed at the InterContinental. The location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside. I usually head towards Zhongshan Square Station, but on checkout day, the doorman, the guy with the long hair in a ponytail, recommended Friendly Square Station and even walked me to the intersection. I really appreciated that! The hotel breakfast was fantastic and had a great variety, including Dalian specialties like sea cucumber porridge with rice and kidney bean clam noodles, plus roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), wraps, and fried dough sticks. I got to try them all! Housekeeping was very prompt; every day I'd leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon to a clean room. The bathroom was spacious and well-lit. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a main overhead light, making it a bit dim.

CcindyI have to say, the bathhouses in Northeast China are truly amazing, haha! The facilities are top-notch. The first floor has water play areas and hot springs, perfect for families with kids – they won't want to leave! The second floor has various hot spring pools, less crowded, ideal for adults without kids who want to relax and enjoy themselves. The third floor features a restaurant, a汗蒸 (Korean-style sauna), a kids' play area (naughty castle), and a cinema. The fourth floor has mahjong rooms and various lounges. The outdoor area looks like a lot of fun, but my child was too young and the weather wasn't warm enough, so we didn't go to any of those. Also, the most impressive and longest swimming pool only opens on May 1st. For dining, there are both buffet and à la carte options (the restaurant has different time slots; once the buffet ends, you can order à la carte). The buffet offers hot pot, BBQ, and seafood – excellent value for money. If you're not staying in a villa, your accommodation will be in the same building as the hot springs, on the 5th floor, which is quite convenient overall. The hotel breakfast is very rich and, in my opinion, even better than the hot spring buffet!

GGuest UserI stayed in Dalian for 3 nights. The first night was in Dalian city, and the second and third nights were in Jinshitan. I stayed at 3 different hotels, and I honestly think the Hard Rock Hotel deserves a great review. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and very meticulous, and check-in was exceptionally fast. Then, a staff member named 'Yi Yang Qian Xi' (a playful reference to a celebrity, likely implying excellent service) helped carry my luggage to the room, which I found very thoughtful and considerate. Both the hotel's hardware and software aspects left me very satisfied! The key thing is, during the May Day holiday, among hotels in the average price range of 800-1000, the Hard Rock Hotel truly stands out in all aspects. Whether it's the location, the hotel facilities, or the staff's service attitude and professionalism, everything was excellent. This is my genuine review, not a insincere one written to get discounts or gifts, but a true reflection of my stay!

GGuest UserThe environment is quite pleasant and uplifting. The decor and location are both great, giving the hotel a wonderful sense of history. However, I was a bit unhappy with the room's design; there were many mirrors facing the bed, which made sleeping uncomfortable at night. Secondly, when we went for the photoshoot, the three retouched photos were sent very slowly, and the photographer seemed reluctant. If the hotel doesn't want to offer this service, they shouldn't use it for marketing in the future. The subsequent photos were also delivered very slowly. The hotel photoshoot (3 retouched digital photos) was very perfunctory. I'd advise anyone considering this hotel specifically for that service to be cautious.

OOosunxiaomeioOFor our May Day trip to Dalian, we specifically chose the Shangri-La Dalian, a classic five-star hotel that's been open for nearly 30 years. Overall, the service was reassuring. Despite the large holiday crowds, the hotel handled the peak well. They temporarily expanded the lobby lounge into a breakfast area, and the dining experience was orderly. The staff at the Horizon Club on the 25th floor were also gentle and patient, very friendly towards children. Their exclusive breakfast, snacks, and dinner were particularly thoughtful. I must give a special shout-out to the hotel's swimming pool! The space is tall, spacious, and filled with sunlight. The entire area feels dry and not stuffy. The public areas were meticulously clean, and the pool service was excellent. The pool depth design is incredibly reasonable; the main pool's shallowest point is 1.3 meters, and there's a dedicated shallow children's pool, perfect for infants and toddlers. It's very family-friendly, and the kids had a great time. The basic room space was sufficient, with a practical sofa, work area, and luggage rack. However, the hardware issues due to its age were prominent: the mattress was too firm and light, and there were few pillow options, leading to an average sleep experience. The bathroom lacked a separate toilet room, and the sink area was cramped. Additionally, the bath towels were too small and thin, not meeting five-star standards. I recommend the hotel promptly replace mattresses, pillows, and other amenities, and upgrade consumables to improve overall detail quality.

MMartinLovesAsiaThe location is great and the price was reasonable for a 5 star hotel. However, there were some things that seemed lacking of a 5 star hotel. The CONS - Rooms come with heavy smoke smell and ashtray even if asking for non smoking, and it was open smoking in the lobby and even elevators. I would have loved a bathtub instead of only a shower. The breakfast was very good for the price (48 rmb) but didn't include juices and their attempt at adding bacon was horrific as it was a fake street sausage type of bacon that's bright red and inedible. There was brand-name water bottles and then there was the hotel water bottles in the room and there was a menu charging 2 rmb to heat up water. I am not sure how they would know or if this is to charge for the people who steal the tea and coffee. But I would expect to boil water for free. Also the gym closed at 19:00 and it seemed a bit early. The PROS - The beds were comfortable. The staff did their best to accommodate and even allowed picking up luggage later. The coffee shop inside had great coffee if you dont mind the smoke. The breakfast was a great value for 48 rmb. The location was great and convenient. The hotel was able to check us in to the room early with availability. The hot spring SPA was amazing as well since there was no pool but you need to be careful not to let them give you extra services (which are sub par) and just enjoy the hot water and sauna for free when you buy something.

GGuest UserOur family, with elderly parents and young children, just arrived at Swissôtel Shenyang. We were greeted by Eric from the concierge, who was incredibly warm and friendly, always smiling, and made us feel right at home. Check-in was super efficient; we didn't have to wait in line at all. Knowing we were a family traveling with kids, he thoughtfully arranged a room for us on a suitable floor, away from the road and elevator. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent, so it was incredibly quiet at night, ensuring the elderly and children had undisturbed rest. The detailed service really stood out! Eric proactively prepared children's slippers and toiletries, and even provided extra bottled water and tissues. He kindly reminded us about bathroom safety, shared tips for adjusting the air conditioning, clearly explained breakfast times and restaurant locations, and patiently recommended great spots for kids, dining, and shopping nearby. His explanations were very clear. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, making transportation incredibly convenient. The room was clean, spacious, tidy with no missed spots, and the security was excellent, making us feel very safe. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options and tasted great. During our stay, Eric patiently helped with any requests we had. He was gentle and personable, and even proactively greeted the children. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily and replenished supplies promptly. Eric is meticulous, thorough, professional, and genuinely caring in his service, always putting guests first. Our overall stay was perfect: great location, excellent soundproofing, comfortable rooms, and heartwarming service. Highly recommend for family trips!
