Guest UserThis hotel is right next to the coffee shop on the left side when you exit Matsuyama-shi Station tram stop. If you're coming from Matsuyama Port, you can take the tram from Takahama Station directly to the hotel. The facilities are quite new as it just recently opened. Every afternoon, guests can enjoy complimentary welcome drinks, and there's free ice cream in the evenings, which is a great draw. The hotel's location is excellent for getting around; Matsuyama-shi Station, which has many buses to Shikoku, Tokyo, Osaka, and Okayama, is right downstairs.

kay_fightExcellent! The location is fantastic, right on Ookaido Street, meaning you can shop comfortably protected from both sun and rain. The onsen (hot spring bath) on the upper floor was exceptionally clean and delightful. They also offer free laundry washing, with drying available for 100 yen. Step right outside, and you'll find the tram station and a bustling food street. Virtually all of Matsuyama's highly recommended restaurants are within easy walking distance. Cannot recommend enough!

I stayed here as part of my Tokyo Love Story pilgrimage. The facilities, hygiene, and environment were all absolutely perfect, truly impeccable. The only issue was that when I booked, it showed no breakfast included, but the reservation slip provided by the front desk indicated breakfast. I returned the breakfast voucher to the front desk and asked them to double-check, as 3000 yen isn't a small amount. The front desk said they would verify and call my room, but I never heard back, even until check-out. For a hotel of this caliber, I really think this is unacceptable, especially since this was the part I was most looking forward to in Matsuyama. However, despite this minor flaw, the rest of my experience was absolutely perfect.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is not close to Dogo Onsen street and you will need to drive or get a taxi if you want to go there. There are no restaurants or shops nearby the hotel. There is a walk nearby the hotel you can take which offers nice scenery in the woods. The hotel looks a bit dated particularly the bedrooms and the corridors. I asked for a quiet room facing the mountain instead of one facing a busy road and had to pay an additional 2200 yen. The hotel has a number of onsens and I like the outdoor ones best. The buffet dinner and breakfast offer good selection and I particularly like the dinner which offered nice teppanyaki beef and sushi.
The hotel reception staff spoke very little English and the hotel did not reply to an email I sent them asking for transportation information to get to the hotel.
There are buses near the hotel which go to Matsuyama and Imabari but they run infrequently.

ChrisPeaAmazing value for such a high class hotel. Spacious rooms, beautiful spa with indoor and outdoor baths. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. About 10 mins walk from JR station. I always stay here when visiting Imabari.

Guest UserThe location of the hotel is not easy to find, but it is really good. Both the decoration and the hotel room are very good! Basic double room with sauna and small living room! The hotel is right near the commercial street, very convenient! I’ll choose it next time if I have the chance

Guest UserExcellent location if you do not have a car. We were able to get around so easily.
The toilet has a dry and wet section. By Japan stabdard, the toilet is huge. There is a shower and separate bath area. We love it.
Room service was excellent! We forgot to put our dirty towels out but we were supplied clean ones.
I am very happy with my stay.

Guest UserA sparkling new hotel with onsen and free flow welcome drinks (beer is limited to 1 per pax) but was still great. We stayed as a group of cyclist after completing the Shimanami kaido and the hotel was a great addition to end the ride. The onsen was heaven. The hotel is within minutes from the Station and bus stop, so definitely a plus. Eateries was just across the road with many options. Breakfast was simple but you can't beat it for the price.

Guest UserHotel has some distance from the main Dogo mall but it has shuttle bus running every 10 mins from 3-10. Hotel itself is very clean and most of the staff were so friendly and carried traditional Japanese good manner.
My room is Japanese style and I love it. The breakfast was ok but the dinner was abundant, delicious and presented nicely. The staff named Itsuki Deguchi who took care my check in and dining service did a good job worthy to receive compliments.
Onsen was clean and very nice.
Will stay again next time

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, right in front of the tram stop. The hotel is well-maintained and clean! I gave it a 4-star rating because even though it's been renovated, it's an older hotel so there's a slight, unique smell. During happy hour, they even serve draft beer, and the amenities are well-stocked with various types, so you can grab what you need whenever. They even have face masks! What's really great, especially for a business hotel, is that they provide an electric kettle, air purifier, hair straightener, hairdryer, and even a microwave! Plus, there are two chairs at the desk, which is perfect for enjoying takeout food. It's a bit small, but considering it's a Japanese business hotel and the price, I'd definitely stay here again!
