I booked the pool villa. The villa itself is gorgeous and clean. The space is huge! View from the bedroom in the morning is lovely. However it was the rainy season so I couldn’t check out the gym. The breakfast buffet was normal. Location wise it was far from the main beach but they provide shuttle van at some certain timings.

Location is ok, around 17 mins walk to central samui.  Breakfast is good, many choices Swimming pool is gigantic The beach is just footstep  away however the sea current was strong, it’s a bit hard to swim The pool access room is good,  Hotel staffs were all very nice  Dinner at the restaurant for Xmas, it’s 5,000 bahts for 2 adults and 1 little kid. It’s quite pricy given the bad food quality. Really not up to standard but 4 stars, can’t expect too high tho.

Nice place, very comfortable, far from the city and in a very big intense road, so for tourists you're completely dependant on taxi (even the 7 eleven is not far but you have to do a traffic loud road to get there). Although there's always Grab to let the stuff you need come to you. A lot of tiny tiny ants looking for our food in the room, but not a big deal. The photos are made days after the check-in so a bit messy

The hotel is conveniently located (you can walk to the center). Breakfasts are varied. The entrance to the sea is by steps, the water is clean. There are few people in the sea (more precisely, no one), since Europeans prefer the pool. Nearby there is an opportunity to organize active recreation on the water (sapas, kayaks, scooters, etc.). There are many sun loungers (even when the hotel is fully occupied, 2-3 per person). The rooms in the hotel are large and equipped with everything you need. The only sad moment was the check-in, since there was no room with 2 beds (as originally booked). They actively tried to put us in one ... Since it was December 31 and there were no more options for accommodation on the entire island, we had to insist on our booking and find options on the spot. I do not understand why they immediately refused to provide an extra bed, although this somehow smoothed out the situation (since sometimes you want to sleep at night). Let it not be exactly what I wanted to get for the holiday, but they still found and provided an extra bed in the room.

It was an awesome stay at Thai Fight hotel. I really happy that i choose this hotel. It is really nice decoration, big pool area and we can hear sound of waves from the room! So many angles of this hotel are instagrammable. The free session of muay thai was also amazing. The trainer is pro fighter and really passionate in explaining the steps to us.

The Vannee is a 3.5 star hotel but we can’t do half stars here. The hotel lacks details on most ends but overall a decent place to stay. The breakfast was not good for the 2 days of our stay. The true standout aspect of this hotel is the massive pool that expands the length of the grounds. There is a swimup pool bar.

The hotel has a good location and good quality rooms. However, I really didn’t like the hotel’s attitude towards the issue of distributing sun loungers by the pool. All the time they are booked with someone (put down a towel), and there are no people themselves either at the sunbeds or at the pool. As a result, the sunbeds are empty all day, but you cannot occupy them. When contacting employees, they ignore this problem. For example, I attach 2 photos (2 were taken at 7 am - all the sunbeds were already occupied and there was no one there). During the 10 days I was there, I was never able to spend time with them. As for me, this is an indicator of disgusting service from the hotel and this must definitely be corrected in the future

We enjoyed the stay at the resort) the rooms are clean and cosy. The staff is friendly and ready to help. We'd like to thank the lady named Yok at the reception for her kind assistance). We didn't use the resort restaurant as the home restaurant Big O nearby was much better) it's a pity the resort doesn't have its own sun beds( Some guys on the beach collect money for them. It is interesting to snorkel here) We were lucky to see a turtle.

GGuest UserPros: Location: Dara Samui Beach Resort boasts an enviable position right in the heart of Koh Samui. Its proximity to various restaurants, shops, and local attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. Being able to walk everywhere is a huge plus and adds an element of relaxation to the vacation experience. Staff: One of the standout features of the resort is its staff. They are not only efficient, ensuring everything runs smoothly, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. This level of service greatly enhances the overall stay. Room Views: Opting for a room on the third floor is highly recommended as it offers scenic views. While the first and second floors might lack these views, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms remain commendable. Bed and pillows were awesome!! Pool Area: The infinity pool is a highlight, providing a luxurious and serene environment to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the sun. This well-maintained area is made even more enjoyable by the fun and friendly pool and bar staff. One memorable highlight was when staff made popsicles by hand for the guests, adding a delightful touch to the day’s activities. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at the resort is exceptional. With a wide variety of choices, both in terms of dishes and flavors, every morning feels like a new culinary adventure. The quality and taste of the food meet high standards, ensuring a delightful start to the day. Cons: Noise Levels: A significant downside to staying at Dara Samui Beach Resort, especially noted on Chaweng Beach, is the noise pollution from nearby clubs. Guests looking for a peaceful night's sleep might find the loud music, particularly the repetitive beats and booming sounds from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM, to be a major disturbance. This could be a dealbreaker for light sleepers or those seeking a restful retreat. Beach and Swimming Conditions: While the beach itself is beautiful and great for daytime relaxation, the water level often remains below one meter, making it impossible to swim in the ocean. This shallow water issue is prevalent across most of Chaweng Beach and might disappoint those looking forward to ocean swimming. Conclusion: Dara Samui Beach Resort offers a fantastic adult-only experience with its excellent location, superb staff, and top-notch facilities. However, potential guests should be aware of the early morning noise and the less-than-ideal swimming conditions in the ocean. If you are a night owl or can sleep through noise, and don't mind shallow beachfront waters, these issues might not be as impactful. Otherwise, consider requesting a room as far from the noise source as possible or look into noise-canceling solutions and plan for alternative ocen swimming options like a day at Silver Cove. Despite these setbacks, the resort's positives significantly outweigh its negatives, making it a worthy consideration for your stay in Koh Samui. Also exceptional value for the money.

GGuest UserStayed at Chaweng Garden Beach Resort in July for 7 days in a Standard Triple Room in room 125. Although the resort is an older one, as a budget level hotel it has satisfied most of our expectations. The room was large enough, with the building close to ”Sue's Restaurant” and to the main pool and to the beach. Room and bathroom were clean. As we asked for additional pillows in the room, we were provided. The buildings, villas were surrounded by lush garden, including the restaurant and beachfront, assuring comfortable shadow for those searching for it. The main pool has a comfortable depth, comfortable for swimming/playing, it's water was clean, although we preferred to swim in the sea. Did NOT encounter any jellyfish in the sea during our stay, so do not be afraid from this point of view! Beach towels are provided near the pool. Breakfast was basically good, although I would suggest to the management to provide beside a single(same) type of ham also some variety of salami. The same would be the case also for cheese, to provide 2-3 types, not only a single one type every day. I guess this would be much appreciated by the westerners who make up the majority of the guests. Initially we were afraid from load music until late night from the neighboring Ark Bar Beach Club, but our fear was groundless, the lush vegetation absorbed most of the sound, it was barely noticeable. It was touching seeing how the much respected owner of the resort, Miss Sue, was visiting one or two times every day the area near the restaurant and the beach while greeting ”old” returning guests and entering with them is short conversions. All in one, I appreciate that Chaweng Garden Beach Resort offers an excellent value for money ratio, and I would definitely return the next time to the same place, hopefully next year! VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted. Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio. Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet. Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.

GGuest UserNice resort but can do with some reservations. Amenities can be improved too as what is offered is below its own concept standards. Only 2 bath towels provided, adding hand or face towels would be good. No pool towels in the plunge pool room, having it would be nice. Umbrella is damaged so can’t use it properly, room maid should check these things. Only 2 pillows provided, having 4 pillows would be nice so each person can have 2 pillows for comfort sleeping. Rooms with Plunge pool should have its own on/off switch for guests to operate instead of having to call reception to turn it on every time we need to use it. The water flow in the bathroom shower and wash basin is not consistently flowing with pressure, it low and high water pressure.

Amazing
ССветланаA wonderful boutique hotel. It is located at the end of Lamai Beach. It is very quiet and calm, and it is the end. At the same time, there is a great bar, which many people come to have a drink or eat with a view of the sea. It was my birthday on the day of arrival! I was greeted with balloons, flowers, cake, freshly squeezed juices and cocktails. We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor with a direct view of the sea. What sunrises you can watch right from your bed. It is amazing. The room is clean, neat, everything is tasteful. The shampoo, gel, lotion are of such quality that you want to wash yourself constantly 😂 There are 2 more local bars nearby And, the coolest thing is a large stone with soft poufs, where you can just chill.

TThunsaya PuyanontI absolutely love this place—it feels like home. The room is spacious, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating. While I’ve noticed some people complain about the breakfast variety, I think it’s perfectly fine. They offer an egg station, sausage, bread, cereal, Thai dishes with rice, a salad bar, fruit, juice, and more. Personally, I don’t eat much breakfast, so it works well for me. That said, if you’re expecting a grand breakfast spread, it might not fully meet your expectations. On top of that, they have a swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness center, which I really appreciate. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! ❤️

SShengshimeiyanThe resort is on Lamai Beach, and the hotel is almost full of Europeans, especially French and Germans, and few Chinese. The deepest feeling is that the road inside the resort is very tortuous. If you go at night, although there are lights, you will be a little scared. The room is still the old-fashioned bathtub with shower, which means you need to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. The hotel has its own rental motorcycle, renting one of the cheapest is 250 baht, but the resort bill shows 50 baht, and the other 200 baht should be paid to the rental car company, so the front desk handwritten a receipt for reimbursement when checking out. I rented a car to the city center on the first day. Unfortunately, I was caught by the police without wearing a helmet and fined 500 baht. But this is related to the hotel, because I asked the hotel if there was a helmet when I rented the car, the hotel said yes, but did not give it to me. Later, when I came to the front desk with a ticket to ask for an explanation, the front desk said that I didn't know I was going to the city, so I didn't give it to me, and I didn't say that I would bear the fine. This made me a little angry. There is a Guangong Temple nearby, you can go and see it, it is still very majestic.

PPeciuOverall, quite expensive, but a pretty great hotel. Pros: 1. Very clean, no signs of mold 2. Comfortable rooms equipped with very nice spacious showers, Smart TVs and kitchenettes with a hob 3. Exceptional breakfast. Variety of food, everything’s fresh. I’m allergic to gluten, and they tried to have some options for me too, including bread 4. They have an app where you can communicate with the staff and order anything you want to your room. Nice touch, quite convenient 5. The location was criticised by some other reviews but we really liked it, as it’s somewhat less touristy than Lamai beach area, but still very close to bars, restaurants and shops. You need a scooter, though. Cons: 1. It’s not on the beach. The pictures provided are of their sister beach club, Chi Samui, that’s a few minutes away on the scooter. They provide free shuttles there, free sunbeds and discounts, but it’s still an expensive place, compared to those around. The hotel itself has a pool and sunbeds around, which were sufficient for us, but if you care about seeing the ocean from your balcony - you might get dissapointed. 2. Although rooms have fully equipped kitchens, you can’t cook there, unless you’re staying for more than a month (I am an allergic person and have to cook a lot of my food myself). They don’t provide you with basic cooking (or eating) utensils like forks, knives and plates. We, however, managed to get a few sets of cuttlery and some bowls, but it was complicated, I had to kind of fight for it. 3. On the expensive side, including the food and drinks at the hotel. Overall, would stay again. A few minor inconveniences, but a pretty good experience at Chi.
