I had a great stay pool was clean room was nice and clean breakfast was great as well the complimentary drinks weren’t the best but hey they were complimentary so you can’t complain too much
These room were spacious and very nice. The service was good. I would recommend this place even if you aren’t accessing the ******. It’s a good value for the price.
I specially chose this hotel which is the closest to Nelson Art Gallery. The elevator is old, but the room is very new with advanced facilities, complete and clean. The bed is very comfortable.
The gym is on the third floor, and the treadmill is next to the window. There are traces of Sheraton logo on the glass of the gym, and I know who its predecessor is 😁 The swimming pool is half outside and half outside, which is a hot tub.
Free parking, you can enter and exit the parking lot by swiping the room card.
There are two types of breakfast: buffet and menu. Classic food, standard.
Best hotel since we’ve traveled over the holidays. This was a good midway stop for us to take a rest before heading home. Staff was super nice, breakfast was included even if they originally said it wasn’t, parking was free/available (no extra surcharge), hotel was super clean and layout was nice, they provide Starbucks coffee in your room (for those coffee lovers) and they have a good coffee machine as complimentary that you can grab at anytime. They have a vending machine for you to grab any snacks if needed on your floor. The price was worth it. I would 100% stay here again! Springfield also introduced me to a few fun activities around the area as well so it’s definitely a place to go visit and if so I recommend this hotel!

Location = Great for the Arch
Cleanliness = 6-day stay, but the room was only serviced 3 times, requiring us to flag down a room attendant so we could have clean towels, Sheets were only changed 1 time, and the bed was just remade. Also, there was a basketball-sized spot on the headboard that was worn through the leather into the padding. This can't be cleaned correctly and everyone's head touches it. Gross.
Restaurants = convenient enough and you are charged for that convenience.
Parking = Be Aware $48 per night valet, $32 self-park, offsite options, $20 per night with a couple of blocks walk.
Overall = Taking parking into account if you can get this for $75 a night for a king room it's good, if not there are other better options for your money.
Old hotel, everything is quite satisfactory. But this time the hotel reservation was too pitted, obviously twice as expensive as the hotel's normal charges. Don't make continuous reservations in the future and try to avoid agents.
The hotel is under construction and the noise was extremely loud. The manager on duty was snide before she hung up on me. Only for her to call back and offer a meal comp. Upon checking out, we were advised that we had to go back into the ****** to receive our meal comp. After going all the way back into the ****** getting our cards, then going to the restaurant and eating nothing was on the cards, and nothing was comped. My wife and I saved up to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we chose to spend it there only to have a very dissatisfying experience. We could not even hear ourselves talk in our own rooms. Then to be treated like that by the management just made this completely unacceptable.
Location in proximity to city attractions is amazing 5/5. Location in terms of safety is 2/5. There isn’t a covered secured lot for your car and I was approached by many people asking me for money while taking a walk around the building. Service is hit or miss. When I arrived, and attempted to open my car door, I was accosted by the valet who yelled at me and asked me what I was TRYING to do. I told him I was checking in to the hotel. And he was aggressively unpleasant, seemingly angry that I had arrived. Conversely, the valet attendant the next day was polite and wonderful. The front desk was nice but did not review any of the amenities nor offer any information about the hotel, which is a shame. Nice but inattentive and uninterested. The service at both Idol Wolf and Good Press were 5/5. The food at both were 5/5. The hotel itself is gorgeous. There’s art set in an old gym. The renovation is well done. Enjoyed it very much. The view from the room was also very nice. The room itself was standard with a few attention to detail things needing addressed. Such as broken handles and non working bathroom fixtures. Overall would recommend this hotel because it is unique. Big plus - they allow pets!!! Yes!
The ** hotel occupies a corner of the hotel. There are many choices of restaurants inside, the food is pretty good, the rooms are standard, and the overall experience is good, which is much better than staying in an ordinary motel.

This hotel is in the area near where I needed to be this weekend and it was clean. I will be staying again as I will need to return to the area. I did have a mishap in that housekeeping cleaned the room but didn't make the beds. I had to leave to get to my performance venue about an hour after checking in, so I went to tell the front desk. The receptionist was very accommodating in getting someone up to my room ASAP, and they were made when I later returned. Thanks! Also, I think one of the elevators isn't working, so you might have to wait a little longer. Had I stayed longer, I would have found the stairs.
We seriously loved this place!! Other than the fact it just LOOKED like a cool place to stay from the pics, it actually was a really cool place to stay. My 10 and 14yr olds, my husband and I stayed for this visit. Husbands aren't that cool so he didn't really care lol ;). But me and my 2 girls absolutely loved riding in the elevator. You can pay more for a higher room and more for a room with an indoor balcony. We did neither but were lucky enough to get up on the 4th floor. The elevator is activated with your room key, and you can only go on the floor your room is, the lower level with the pool and dining and the main level (entrance), so no fun rides to the top lol. The room was clean and spacious. It didn't smell. The beds seemed clean as well as the bathroom. We LOVED the atrium feature, getting up at 6am to swim while being able to look at the sunrise and the clouds was so much fun. My girls and I decided when we come back to the area that we want to stay here EVERY TIME lol. Complaints are minimal and they are made up by how much we enjoyed the hotel. Didn't care for having to pay to park at the hotel. There are free spots but that is very limited. The water looked kinda cloudy... Which made me feel a little weird, but we got in anyways and had a blast. The floor of the pool is very...scratchy and easy to cut yourself on. My daughter scaped her elbow on it and when she got out it started bleeding a little. They need to refinish the lining of the pool for sure. However, the pool was heated and we appreciated that.
Ggmartin212This is a very good location for downtown K.C. The hotel lobby very nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and the food and service were very good. The only complaint here was that the attached bar was very loud and the restaurant ambiance could be redesigned to be more comfortable and intimate. There was a group of about eight people at a large table near us that were having load discussion that was distracting for us but dealt with it.
The room was small but the renovation was very nice, bathroom was big with a nice tub/shower that my wife enjoyed a epsom salt soak. My only complaints are that there is no fridge or microwave to heat coffee. Also, they use the old style coffee two cup coffee maker as most hotels have now gone to keurigs. The hallway noise is very noticeable and the room-to-room noise is as well. We could literally hear the conversation in the next room. One thing that I really dislike is the lack of a ”do not disturb” card for the door and as expected, the housekeeper was knocking on the door at 9:00 a.m. to clean the room even though checkout is at noon! I'm sure there are much better and newer hotels but if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in the heart of downtown K.C. this is a good choice.
This is a very nice hotel with a good location. It was very clean although in the bathroom the painters left splashes of paint on the floor and in the shower. Plus all of us said there was a coffee machine in the rooms with coffee but no cups so you had to go downstairs and purchase coffee. It’s a pricey hotel but we would stay again. The museum upstairs is very nice.
Directly next to the airport. Beautiful lobby with a bar and restaurant. Plentiful lounge seating. I definitely felt very fancy walking in here! I enjoyed the heated indoor pool. It was only $50 more expensive than a Quality Inn in the same area, which I felt was well worth the money for the amenities and quality of service. The shower is awesome, good water pressure and HOT!! Even a little bar to rest your foot on so you can wash/shave your legs!! The downside was that maybe the housekeeping team is understaffed because I noticed the carpets in the hallway didn't seem to have been vacuumed recently, there was a wad of hair on the floor in my room, and the bed skirt was stained, ripped, and hanging off. I brought this to the attention of the front desk upon checkout. The small sign on the back of the door said that a single room can go for $399. If I had paid that price and received a room with hair and torn bedding, I would have been ticked. But as I got a good deal, it ultimately didn't bother me. I would stay here again.
This place was a great surprise. We have never been there before and from checking in with a wonderful young lady to the rooms and Casino. It was a wonderful place to stay. Even went to the patio and listened to the young man singing. He was very going and engaged the crowd.
Overall we had a great time. Everything is as very clean. There were a lot of amenities and restaurant opens to chose from on the 1st floor. Staff welcoming and helpful.
Good modern hotel in a good location virtually on the corner of Glenstone and East Sunshine. Plenty of food outlets nearby as well as a Hy-Vee and Walmart. Didn’t use the gym facilities, but had a look - very basic, but okay for fitness maintenance. Basic food (Burgers etc) available to purchase at the hotel, if you can’t be bothered to venture outside. Free coffee available in the lobby or in your room. I have deducted on star because they didn’t reply to two emails that I sent to them before I checked in. I suggest they train their staff to respond or check their emails (the final email address was their gmail address), so they can respond. I would stay here again.
Checkin was crazy. It was super busy due to the concert in town, so we checked in about 30 min early (3:30) but a room wasn’t ready. We were told we’d receive a text when it was. So we waited in the lobby. At around 5 pm, (the concert started at 6!), my husband went to ask and yeah, it was ready, and he was given the key. So…a bit frustrating. Idk how the property can expedite this process because the line to check in was almost out the hotel doors. For the price we paid for one night, it should be better. Online checkin or something. Room was ok. Nothing worth what we paid, but nice. View overlooked the stadium, so that was cool.
