The hotel is in a great location, right next to the most famous arch in St. Louis. You can directly see the arch and the Mississippi River from the room. The scenery is amazing. Outside the hotel is the Arch Square, where a group of teenagers dance at night...

The Moonrise is a great boutique hotel with really fun decor and art. It is clean and comfortable. They need to update their website regarding the onsite restaurant. It is only open for breakfast. There are several restaurants within walking distance. They are a pet friendly hotel, which is nice. There is no parking garage, just an open lot behind the hotel with dedicated parking for guests. Don't expect a valet to assist with unloading your luggage, though. The registration staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return if I return to St. Louis.
Everything was simply divine. We didn’t get to check out the roof top since it was a windy day but everyone was pleasant, good food, good drinks and clean!!

I had a great stay pool was clean room was nice and clean breakfast was great as well the complimentary drinks weren’t the best but hey they were complimentary so you can’t complain too much
I specially chose this hotel which is the closest to Nelson Art Gallery. The elevator is old, but the room is very new with advanced facilities, complete and clean. The bed is very comfortable.
The gym is on the third floor, and the treadmill is next to the window. There are traces of Sheraton logo on the glass of the gym, and I know who its predecessor is 😁 The swimming pool is half outside and half outside, which is a hot tub.
Free parking, you can enter and exit the parking lot by swiping the room card.
There are two types of breakfast: buffet and menu. Classic food, standard.
The hotel is strategically located, the environment is very good and very safe. The hotel is very distinctive, it is a classic British style decoration and furnishings, very cultural, a must-choice place for travel.

The hotel environment is good, business travel customers said that this hotel building has a history of nearly 100 years, the surrounding environment is safer. Hilton's hotel, the service attitude is not bad. Supporting facilities are not good: the hotel does not provide toiletries, slippers are not; Breakfast is included in the room rate, in fact, you can choose one of the many menus; before leaving, you have to bring a cup of coffee, you have to charge extra, and you have not informed in advance.
Overall feeling, this price is not as good as the domestic hotel of the same grade
Parking in the underground parking lot is very convenient. Talk to the front desk when you check out. There is no charge when you leave the garage. The hotel lobby is not bad, the rooms are relatively old, but the hotels in the central cities of the United States are almost not old. The room was quite large, the air conditioning was very noisy, and when it didn't stop, the cold wind was blown for a while and the hot wind was blown for a while. I booked a room with breakfast, but at the end of the day breakfast was still charged separately, and I was drunk. The quality of reception staff at the reception varies, and there are a few female receptionists who come here for a while, business operations are unskilled, and their attitudes are very general.

Ggmartin212This is a very good location for downtown K.C. The hotel lobby very nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and the food and service were very good. The only complaint here was that the attached bar was very loud and the restaurant ambiance could be redesigned to be more comfortable and intimate. There was a group of about eight people at a large table near us that were having load discussion that was distracting for us but dealt with it.
The room was small but the renovation was very nice, bathroom was big with a nice tub/shower that my wife enjoyed a epsom salt soak. My only complaints are that there is no fridge or microwave to heat coffee. Also, they use the old style coffee two cup coffee maker as most hotels have now gone to keurigs. The hallway noise is very noticeable and the room-to-room noise is as well. We could literally hear the conversation in the next room. One thing that I really dislike is the lack of a ”do not disturb” card for the door and as expected, the housekeeper was knocking on the door at 9:00 a.m. to clean the room even though checkout is at noon! I'm sure there are much better and newer hotels but if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in the heart of downtown K.C. this is a good choice.
GGuest UserLocation in proximity to city attractions is amazing 5/5. Location in terms of safety is 2/5. There isn’t a covered secured lot for your car and I was approached by many people asking me for money while taking a walk around the building. Service is hit or miss. When I arrived, and attempted to open my car door, I was accosted by the valet who yelled at me and asked me what I was TRYING to do. I told him I was checking in to the hotel. And he was aggressively unpleasant, seemingly angry that I had arrived. Conversely, the valet attendant the next day was polite and wonderful. The front desk was nice but did not review any of the amenities nor offer any information about the hotel, which is a shame. Nice but inattentive and uninterested. The service at both Idol Wolf and Good Press were 5/5. The food at both were 5/5. The hotel itself is gorgeous. There’s art set in an old gym. The renovation is well done. Enjoyed it very much. The view from the room was also very nice. The room itself was standard with a few attention to detail things needing addressed. Such as broken handles and non working bathroom fixtures. Overall would recommend this hotel because it is unique. Big plus - they allow pets!!! Yes!
GGuest UserWe have been to a lot of ****** hotels in various states, this rates as an average basic hotel. It needs updated in a lot of ways. Still has corded phone in hotel bathroom as if the late 1990’s. I’m sure it was an awesome place over twenty years ago, but it has not changed with the times. It was clean but basic in all the ways possible. The restaurants at the ****** were good just the hotel itself needs upgrades.

GGuest UserBest hotel since we’ve traveled over the holidays. This was a good midway stop for us to take a rest before heading home. Staff was super nice, breakfast was included even if they originally said it wasn’t, parking was free/available (no extra surcharge), hotel was super clean and layout was nice, they provide Starbucks coffee in your room (for those coffee lovers) and they have a good coffee machine as complimentary that you can grab at anytime. They have a vending machine for you to grab any snacks if needed on your floor. The price was worth it. I would 100% stay here again! Springfield also introduced me to a few fun activities around the area as well so it’s definitely a place to go visit and if so I recommend this hotel!
GGuest UserDouble charge you on your credit card and don’t release your funds right away. Poor customer service. No Refrigerator or microwave in the room. No social distancing in the hotel. Only thing they did have was good food.

GGuest UserStay was ok for one night. Not a great example of a 21C in my opinion. Room was clean and spacious, but literally 3 steps away from elevator so I heard the ”ding” all night, and the bar dumped their glass bottles into a dumpster outside, on the same side as rooms, which was very loud. I had to call to get shampoo and soap, as there were none in room when I checked in. Drinks in bar are phenomenal - they are truly artists - and was the highlight of the stay.
