Hotel Ferré Machu Picchu

We chose this hotel to spend a night in Hot Waters and enjoy the city better after going to Machu Picchu. The hotel is located between the train station and the river that passes through the city, with our room had viewed the river, we sleep with the window open to the delicious sound of the river. The room is wide and comfortable. The hotel also has a good breakfast. Destake for the staff team, from the serviceman Joseph, who was to meet us at the train station, to the receptionist, who gave us excellent tips of the city.

Excellent value for money at this basic but very accomodating hotel. Very friendly staff and the location is right on the river so we enjoyed a great view from our room. Breakfast was very good. It’s an older building so don’t expect luxury but if you want comfort, location and price- this is a good option. Bathroom was not amazing but fine for us.

Stopped overnight on the way to macchu pichu. Agus calientes is the perfect place to stop en route to agua calientes. This little hotel is right on the middle of the little town. Walking distance to the train station and the buses and the markets nad restaurants. Our room was small, room 203. We had ok wifi - not great. Warm shower water. Room could do with an upgrade. Our room had no view at all- we looked onto a square small area . Had a quick breakfast before we left for macchu pichu in the morning.
Machupicchu Magna

The location is OK, just beside the train station, it won't take long for the town to stroll around. The ”Magna” in the name outside the hotel and on the front desk wall has been wiped out (is this ready to change the name?), I passed by the hotel door twice and couldn't find the hotel. A little girl who just worked at the front desk didn't understand anything, saying that she couldn't stay without my order. I waited for more than an hour, and Ctrip customer service contacted the hotel owner before letting me stay. The hotel room looks cleaner than the lobby on the first floor, and there is no hook or hanging rod in the bathroom to hang towels. Don't ask too much at this price.

They have a pretty garden to chill. It’s a little bit uphill but it’s pretty close to the center. The room is clean and the bathroom is also pretty big. Overall it was a good experience. They have hot water and wifi. We can also use the kitchen. Which kinda save some money if you want a private room and is picky with food
