Taking advantage of the New Year's Day holiday, I brought my family here to experience it. The festive events were rich and colorful, with parade performances, bonfire parties, and a fireworks display. Both the kids and adults had a blast! The concierge staff, especially the 'Da Ge' (big brother), provided incredibly warm and thoughtful service. It was a very pleasant trip!

The room was excellent, clean, and very comfortable. The complimentary shuttle service from Qingyuan Station to the hotel was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, making it perfect for families with children and seniors. We visited during the New Year holiday and it felt like a serene escape; the layout and design were very well done, never feeling overcrowded. The hot spring experience was just right for two adults and one child, as the hot spring area felt quite private. Our room even had its own hot spring pool, which was much better than the chaotic and noisy atmosphere of a public bathhouse.

A great stay at the Zhongshan Hot Springs Resort. The breakfast was excellent and even included western food like bacon and eggs and French toast. Coffee machine made perfect espresso every time. The business rooms were clean and comfortable. The hot springs were easily accessible and not too crowded during the weekday we stayed. The gym had free weights, but was hard to find and most of the machines were broken or couldn’t power up (no elliptical or bikes, but the treadmill worked). Staff was very polite and responsive. Some were able to communicate clearly in English, although Chinese is clearly the preferred language.

The hotel environment is cozy and elegant, clean and tidy. The bedding is comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities are complete, and the smart control system elevates the stay experience. The staff are warm and attentive, responding promptly and providing excellent service. The surrounding transportation is well-developed, just one stop from Futian Port, making it especially convenient to take the subway to Hong Kong for customs clearance. There are plenty of food options around, a paradise for foodies; there's a very delicious烧腊 (roasted meat) shop downstairs, so no worries about dining.

This hotel has multiple two-story guest buildings. They do provide free shuttle for traveling among these buildings. However, the buildings are aged. There is no security guard. You can easily enter any building even if you are not a guest. The room where we stayed, there was always some bad toilet smell. They did offer me to switch to a different room but I decided to stay there (too much work to pack all the stuff).
There are not many options for breakfast. All the staff look like robots. They don't smile at all. It feels like they want you to quickly finish the meal and get out of there. In general, this hotel is not professional enough for charging this much. Hope they can improve.
Zhuhai Imperial Hot Spring Resort, a long-standing Japanese-style open-air hot spring in Zhuhai, has become a popular weekend getaway for visitors from surrounding areas, thanks to its unique Japanese ambiance, rich hot spring experiences, and comprehensive facilities. Here's a multi-dimensional review:
**Environment and Design**
The Imperial Hot Spring is centered around a Japanese garden style, with antique wooden buildings, traditional tiled eaves, and bamboo-lined hot spring pools creating a picturesque scene. When the red lanterns light up at night, the atmosphere is incredibly captivating, and every photo taken looks straight out of Kyoto. The park is lush with greenery, and the hot spring pools are nestled amidst the foliage, offering excellent privacy. The pool water is regularly changed (approximately every 4 hours), and its cleanliness has been praised in many reviews.
**Hot Spring Experience**
The open-air area boasts nearly a hundred unique hot spring pools, including the 'N' power of Six Blessings Soup, herbal baths, specialty wine baths, and fruit and vegetable baths, offering both health benefits and fun. The carbonic acid springs have fine bubbles, the traditional Chinese medicine pools exude herbal aromas, and the stone slab recliners provide a detoxifying and health-promoting experience, catering to diverse needs. Soaking in the hot springs at night is particularly delightful, enjoying tranquility amidst the starry sky and swirling mist.
**Facilities**
* **Dining:** The Grand Temple Fair buffet is a major highlight, offering unlimited freshly prepared dishes like Brazilian BBQ, charcoal-grilled oysters, and Cantonese dim sum, along with complimentary fruits and soft drinks, providing excellent value for money per person.
* **Leisure & Entertainment:** In addition to the hot springs, there are saunas, massage rooms (with Thai/Chinese therapists available), steam rooms, and a children's play area. Evening fireworks displays and interactive NPC activities add to the fun.
* **Accommodation:** Various room types are available, including Japanese tatami rooms and LOFT villas, some with private hot springs. The room details are meticulously crafted (e.g., Japanese-style bathrobes, wooden clogs), though soundproofing in some rooms could be better.
**Service and Value for Money**
The staff are generally warm and attentive, offering water and detailed guidance. The massage therapists are highly skilled, with the Thai stretching and hot salt bag services being particularly recommended. During the off-season, the per-person cost is approximately 400-600 RMB (including accommodation + hot springs + dining). Prices increase on weekends and holidays, but the overall experience remains competitive.
**Drawbacks and Suggestions**
During peak times, it can get crowded, and some pools are relatively shallow. There have been occasional service oversights at the front desk, so it's advisable to inquire about directions in advance. Families with children should pay attention to the child-free ticket policy, as some game activities have age restrictions.
**Conclusion**
Imperial Hot Spring Resort, with its core offering of 'exquisite Japanese service + diverse hot spring experiences,' is suitable for travelers seeking an immersive vacation and attention to detail. If you prefer a quiet, healing retreat or want a one-stop experience of hot springs and local culture, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Facilities: Stayed on a weekday during a cold spell, so there weren't many people. Soaking in the hot springs was very comfortable, and the aromatherapy oil in the room helped with sleep.
Cleanliness: Pretty decent.
Environment: The lobby would be more pleasant if it were a bit quieter.
Service: The front desk staff were diligent, and the auntie in the hot spring area proactively offered tea – she was very kind and polite.
It was nice to take a walk around the town in the evening and enjoy the lively atmosphere. The private kitchens at the nearby farmhouses are good too.

This place I stayed at was really lovely, surrounded by a large forest, making the air incredibly fresh. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offered views of the greenery outside, which was very relaxing. The courtyard had small bridges and a stream, along with rattan chairs where you could sit and soak up the sun during the day – very pleasant. In the evening, everyone gathered around a bonfire for a chat, which felt very relaxing. You could tell a lot of thought went into the design of every corner; staying here felt like being one with nature. Overall, it was a great experience 🌿

The hotel upgraded our room to a sea-view room, and the scenery was amazing. Plenty of parking available. The kids had a great time playing in the sand, and it was convenient to wash up afterward. Lots of dining options nearby, a great variety to choose from.

AAnonymous UserRight from the moment we got off the car, staff members were there to greet us and help with our luggage! The Forest Sea (Senlinhai) resort has a wonderful environment! The scenery is beautiful! The directions were also very clear! The package included hot springs, amusement park tickets, and a buffet breakfast! They even thoughtfully provided a butler who clearly explained every activity and patiently answered all our questions! The staff we met along the way also had excellent service attitudes! The room hygiene was quite good, and anything we needed from the front desk was quickly attended to! The evening performances and activities were also very exciting. Overall, it was an excellent experience! We'll definitely come back next time to try out other room types.
AAmelie2015First time in Huizhou, and the Shuangyue Bay sea is absolutely stunning! We stayed at Yinsha, which is connected to Yanjing, and it was excellent. The room was spacious with a fantastic view. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all incredibly nice, regularly checking and cleaning the rooms. My personal butler, a lovely young woman, checked in daily to see how our stay was going – so thoughtful! Anything we needed was delivered very quickly. Watching the sunrise from our room on the 29th floor, overlooking the sea, was truly breathtaking. The cliff bar had an incredible view, perfect for photos. Breakfast was also very diverse, catering to everyone's needs.

First of all, I was amazed at the fact we were welcomed and checked in long before 2 pm, as soon as we arrived at noon.
Next great thing was that the receptionist helped us to swipe rooms, as we booked one king size bed but for the family of four it was a bit inconvenient, so in a matter of 10 minutes we got a spacious room with 2 wide beds. So the night sleep was unmatched.
The location- from the first glance - looked a bit weird, coz actually the hotel is the part of the bigger residential area, although multi-stored houses are still in the stage of development and not fully inhabited. But, on the second day, when we explored the whole area we found out there were much much worse districts with entirely damaged roads, abandoned structures and left behind businesses. So after that ugly image I changed my initial impression and have to say the hotel is just right for family and perfect rest.
We had a wonderful time while taking baths and even the hot springs square isn’t large we counted no less than 20 bath tubs with great proportion of aromatic and herb additives so you may enjoy the fragrance while bathing.
Meantime you also can sip various herbal tea or water at the bar or have a nap on the hot stone platform.
Cool place for kids too, with the separate pool, mini aqua park, swimming pool for adults was also beautiful though not the right season for swimming.
Nice playground for infants and snooker tables for adults.
We loved the breakfast too, many options including European food and coffee.
Maybe one of the best benefits of choosing this hotel was proximity to the gorgeous mountain park also designed for families with young kids. The zigzag mountain road, the panoramic views and the hiking trail were simply amazing.
Traveling that area means you may try local food which is goose, duck and home raised chickens, river fish and the main local specialty- rice cooked in the bamboo tree. All tasted great.
GGuest UserSo quiet and clean! The butler service was excellent! We brought our own tea set for a '圍爐煮茶' (a type of traditional tea brewing around a small stove) on the balcony, which was incredibly pleasant and comfortable. The balcony in our room had floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views. There's also a small outdoor balcony with a lounge chair, perfect for enjoying the scenery. The fourth floor has a private kitchen offering Cantonese cuisine, which you can order directly to your room! Downstairs, there's a common area for activities. We only stayed one night, but I feel like I could easily stay for several more next time! Highly recommend!

Very Good
AAmideeThis is a lovely place to go for a night or two to just relax. Also a pet friendly place, so that makes is ideal for me! The front desk are really helpful and you can add them onto your wechat to contact them directly anytime. They provide all essentials to be comfortable. I did ask if I could have a kettle for inside my tent, for coffee, which they were able to provide for me. Dinner options, you can choose chicken hot pot or the crawfish hot pot at their reception, which you can do yourself by your tent, or tell them you’d like to cook it in their dining area. Otherwise you can also barbecue your own things at your camp sight. It’s suggested to take your own food to bbq there, as their choices are limited. They did provide me with some sweet potato when I asked, and the chicken hot pot was really tasty and filling! The tent was clean, comfortable and has AC. We stayed in the smallest tents they provide, and it was perfect for what we needed. They have a swimming pool facility that is open from 4:30-6:30pm only. It would be nice if was available in the morning as well!! There’s not a lot to do in the surrounding area of the resort. You can do fishing, go for walks through the forest along the stream. I suggest to take some activity things to do like badminton or other board games etc. There are great play areas for kids, and fun slides are incorporated into the designs of some of the rooms. There are plenty different types of tent facilities and some have some really nice privacy looking onto the stream and have some outdoor hot spring tubs (plunge pool). The small tent porches don’t have privacy, but they are adequate for a short stay in nature. Getting there is easy by didi or hired car, getting back you just need to make your search on the app more wide because the location is a bit isolated from busy areas, but otherwise that’s also not a problem.
GGuest UserThe front desk service was excellent, but there were some oversights in cleanliness. A used tissue from the previous guest was found under the curtain in the corner, which hadn't been cleaned. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are mostly well-maintained. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn't cooling; the 16-degree room temperature directly gave me a cold. The hot spring was great, and it wasn't crowded at all at the end of the New Year's Day holiday. There was plenty of ginger tea and towels available.
The seafood buffet dinner for 2 adults and 2 children (under 1.2 meters) was just mediocre.
GGuest UserIt's been years since I last visited Jinxiu Xiangjiang, and my experience this time was still very good! Although the hotel is a bit old, it's generally well-maintained. Both the outdoor hot springs and the private in-room hot spring are super convenient, and most importantly, it's real mineral-rich hot spring water. The room balcony also faces Baishuizhai Waterfall, giving you an immersive feeling with abundant negative ions. The package we bought also included horse riding, rock climbing, and playground activities, which was fantastic!
FflyingMTVery satisfied, will come again next time. There are many hot spring options, the layout is reasonable, the scenery is beautiful, and the food is abundant. Good morning and good wishes on the sixth day of the ***** New Year! ✨ 2026/02.22 ᵕ̈ 🍀 May the sixth day bring a new journey and good luck. May life be bright, everything lovely, and all the good things of the Year of the Horse arrive as scheduled.
GGuest UserNice relaxing park just at the doorstep with fun activities for children, guided tour to cave etc. There is a shop selling snacks within the resort and shuttle service to the hot spring.
Room was clean.
The staff were gem. They were extremely helpful / friendly. 小许(丽萍)and 莫大姐 went extra mile to help us to locate and retrieve a lost luggage from high speed rail. Front desk Mr Ye, Ms Liu and the rest were nice too. 杨副总 was very passionate about sharing where to visit and tips. Housekeeping staff / Camper site staff (helping with BBQ) were all friendly. The park staff were also hospitable.
One minus point for us, there were instances people smoking at the lobby and not infrequently encountered in the hot spring compound.
GGuest UserAs a regular guest who has booked dozens of stays at Biquan, this was my first time using the Trip.com corporate app to book, and it seems there was a slight discount. Biquan's service, as always, deserves a 5-star rating. Front desk staff member Li Min always has my preferred room ready early and notifies me promptly, and she handles the check-in process personally and efficiently. This time, I also want to specifically commend Li Lijiao from the housekeeping department on the 7th floor of Ginza for her incredibly quick response to guest requests like extra blankets. Li Huidan at the buffet restaurant always proactively offers additional services like delivering hot food, and supervisor He Meiyan personally takes care of everything from reserving tables to queuing for food and even clearing dishes. The only downside, which warrants a deduction, is the cleanliness of the swimming pool. The bottom edges were covered in unsightly stains. I remember in previous years, I would often see staff cleaning the pool late at night from my room around 9 PM, without affecting its opening the next day, but I haven't seen that in a long time. Also, they should at least require swimmers to wear swimming caps, like other five-star hotels. I hope to see improvements on my next visit.
