Hot Springs Hotels in Guangdong, China

We visit this place every year with our elders and children. This is our sixth trip, four days and three nights. This year, the overall service has improved significantly. The restaurant staff are very proactive in anticipating our needs. For instance, when I dropped my chopsticks, someone had already brought a new pair before I even had a chance to ask. Other service staff were also very friendly and answered all our questions with a smile. The newly opened Forest Park makes the whole experience much more enjoyable. I particularly appreciate the canopy and fans above the park – very thoughtful for a Guangdong summer! During our visit, the last two days were half-days of torrential rain, but we were still able to play in this park for most of the day. The park feels comparable to Xigugu, Qingyuan Long, and Naitown, offering a food street + tokens, non-powered rides, mechanical rides (not too thrilling, suitable for elementary schoolers, though the pirate ship is the most intense I've ever ridden!), an indoor park, and a zoo (currently small and a bit smelly). We spent a full day there and only managed to experience about 70% of it superficially. Plus, the in-park consumption is much cheaper compared to the other comparable parks (e.g., renting a buggy for 30 minutes costs 60, which is a steal compared to Qingyuan Long). They also have cosplay NPCs of various characters interacting with kids, answering questions, chatting, and playing rock-paper-scissors. Some NPCs even have hidden interactions, which is quite fun! This year, the three parks (I've always considered the water park as two – one seaside, one indoor) are interconnected, making it less tiring. Thanks to the rain, I finally got to try kayaking, which always has a long queue. Paddling amidst the mountains and water, with no time limit! (No wonder there's always a queue…) I would definitely list this as a must-do for future visits. My room type has undergone some renovation, but please, please change the mattress! It's really too soft, and my back hurts every time I sleep on it. Every hotel I stayed at in Jiangsu and Zhejiang this year had excellent mattresses and pillows! Even chain hotels like Wyndham! Please learn from them! And the swimming channel is still the most fun (the kids are always in the water), the best place for toddlers to learn to swim! But please don't put those boosters in such a narrow channel. They're fun, but genuinely dangerous. This year felt fresh, and there's still plenty to explore. Let's see if the kids remember to come back for their seventh visit next year, haha…

This time, I brought my grandma on a trip. I've been to Huizhou many times before and stayed at various hotels, both higher and lower class than this one in Shuangyue Bay, but this hotel had the best service. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff, was excellent. Since we stayed for two nights, the housekeeping auntie proactively came to clean, and she was very thorough. All in all, I was extremely satisfied.

The room was really good. We couldn't book a hotel inside Forest Sea for the May Day holiday, so we booked here instead. Overall, I was quite satisfied. The room was spacious enough, and the hot springs were decent, with both indoor and outdoor options. The outdoor hot springs did have some leaves and other debris from the trees. The complimentary fruit and milk were a nice touch, and the fence provided good privacy. The hot springs were open until 11 PM, and we could order takeout. We arrived at 1:30 PM and conveniently got a room on the second floor. After playing at Forest Sea until 9:30 PM, we could still come back to the hotel and enjoy the hot springs. The complimentary breakfast was served at the 'Cloud Something Room' in the lobby, and it was okay. This hotel has definitely become another satisfactory travel experience for me. Even after checking out at 12 PM, we wanted to use the hot springs again, and they provided us with a temporary wristband. Around 2 PM, a clown made crown balloons for the kids, which was a nice touch.

Seriously unearthed a hidden gem! The environment is incredibly healing; opening the window reveals stunning views of green mountains and trees. The air is fresh, it's wonderfully quiet, and it's so relaxing to be away from the city hustle. The room was clean and tidy, decorated warmly and elegantly, and the bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The host was very warm, easygoing, and provided thoughtful, meticulous service with great attention to detail. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, perfect for photos. Dining and staying here were both very pleasant, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely come back for my next vacation and highly recommend it to everyone!

Nestled between mountains and the sea, the Banyan Tree Zhuhai Phoenix Bay offers private hot spring pools in all its rooms, starting from 87㎡. It seamlessly blends Lingnan waterside village aesthetics with modern coastal design. Guests can enjoy distant views of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Zhuhai Opera House. The hotel also features an outdoor infinity pool, boat tours around the lake, and freshly steamed Cantonese dim sum for breakfast. With impeccable attention to detail and attentive butler service, it's the perfect choice for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The hotel also provides a complimentary travel photography service. I highly recommend the photographer Xiao Wan (University).

It was almost 8 PM when we got back from Shantou, and the hotel even thoughtfully called to remind us about check-in. The hotel was conveniently located not far from the highway exit. The room layout was well-designed; though not super new, it was perfectly adequate. Soaking in the hot spring tub on the balcony was a great way to wash away the travel fatigue. It's a shame that guests upstairs were still being loud late into the night, but thankfully we're used to going to bed late. In the morning, you can look down from the balcony and see the hot spring pools; there aren't many, but the environment is lovely. Breakfast was decent too. Upon checkout, they even gave us some Longmen local specialties. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a good rest stop during your travels.

My stay at Ocean Spring Resort Fann Hotel far exceeded my expectations! The room design was very new, with excellent wet/dry separation, and the double vanity sink was incredibly convenient for two people. I chose a room with a private hot spring, and soaking in the hot spring on the balcony while watching the sunset in the evening was truly delightful. The hotel also offers a free 'Little Sailor's Club' for kids, giving parents a much-needed break. The hot springs, petting zoo, and non-powered amusement park within the resort are all perfect for families with children, and there's a shuttle bus from the hotel, so transportation isn't an issue. If the room's ventilation could be a bit better, it would be perfect; it was slightly damp when I first entered, but the air conditioning quickly resolved that. Overall, it was a very comfortable vacation, and I'll definitely come back again! The hotel opened in 2023, so the facilities are brand new, with a modern and high-quality design. I booked a sea-view room, and soaking in the hot spring while watching the sunset in the evening was a perfect experience. The room's wet/dry separation and double vanity sink show thoughtful attention to detail. For families with kids, I recommend the family duplex room type, which has a slide that kids absolutely love. The free childcare at the 'Little Sailor's Club' is a huge bonus! The resort facilities are comprehensive, with hot springs, a petting zoo, and a non-powered amusement park all accessible by shuttle bus. My only small suggestion would be to optimize the room's ventilation; there was a slight damp smell upon entry, but it dissipated quickly with the air conditioning. The butler service was prompt and responsive. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

Located in the valley at the entrance of Conghua Street, the campsite is very large. The whole valley is full of lychee trees. It should be nice to come here in summer. We booked a mountain stream tent, which is quite large. There are two 1.5 beds. The family of three slept very comfortably. There is a large hot spring pool on the balcony. It is very comfortable to take a bath at night. The children went fishing. There are so many fish in the small pond in the campsite. They caught a lot of fish in one or two hours. It was very fun.

Took the kids for a weekend getaway to Zengcheng Jinxiu Xiangjiang Hot Spring Resort, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations! I just have to rave about this hot spring hotel ❤️ ✅ Environment & Accommodation: The guest rooms were spotless, so hygiene was absolutely no concern. The rooms are incredibly spacious with expansive views, creating a perfect home-away-from-home vacation vibe. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the air is fresh, and the hot spring environment is incredibly therapeutic. ✅ Facilities: The resort offers a wide variety of hot springs with numerous pools, making both morning and evening soaks enjoyable. While the on-site water park isn't huge, the children's slides and splash areas are perfectly designed for little ones, keeping the kids entertained all day long. ✅ The warm and thoughtful service definitely deserves a special shout-out: The front desk check-in was efficient and friendly, and they kindly upgraded our room. Considering it would be inconvenient for the child to sleep, we contacted housekeeping to help combine the beds. The staff members were incredibly patient and went above and beyond to arrange everything perfectly, providing gentle and thorough service. Upon checkout, they even gifted us with a lovely souvenir, showing great attention to detail. Their signature tofu pudding is soft, sweet, and absolutely delicious – an unforgettable taste. All the staff were enthusiastic and meticulous in their service, ensuring all our needs as a family with children were well taken care of. The value for money is exceptional, making it highly suitable for short family getaways. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling with kids!

SanYing Hot Spring truly understands how to deliver a relaxing experience! After a soak, you can enjoy complimentary freshly sliced fruit, and the in-room self-service drinks are very reasonably priced. We stayed in a 1.5-meter twin room in the Candy Flying House. While not huge, it was perfectly spacious enough for two adults and one child. The private bath sachet for 38 yuan added so much to the hot spring atmosphere. The buffet restaurant was spacious, and while the breakfast selection was basic, it was certainly filling. My only minor complaint is that there weren't many dessert options, but the Indian flying bread was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating. I typically get motion sickness and asked if I could take an orange from the hot spring area, even though fruit usually isn't allowed to be taken out, and they kindly agreed. Upon checkout, they even gave us a small gift. The service was heartfelt, and the overall experience was fantastic. I'll definitely be back again!
