Aljazeera Hotel Apartments

I am staying in Al Jazeera Hotel for a long rental, as I moved to Amman for work. The price is quite good compared to all the other options in this central area. The receptionist, Salem, is a nice and funny guy who takes care of the cleanliness and any help you might need. Both location and tidiness are the main aspects for me to stay here for months ☺️

The best hotel i've ever booked for the last 4 years. Stuff is friendly and ready to help at any time. Hotel is situated at the center and close to the supermarket. Good wifi and accomodation. Great breakfast - highly recommend everyone to add this option.owner of the hotel always take breakfast with tourists. Telling the stories about the country, giving advices how to make your trip better, helping with everything. Would recommend this hotel to any type of tourists. If you are travelling alone, a couple or you need to get good room for good price - this is for sure your choice. You will feel yourself in this hotel even better than at home

Apart from a nice-enough room (space to move around comfortably and also bigger rooms for higher prices) and a ”pretty good” breakfast, what I'll remember most about staying at this hotel is having met the ”excellent manager” of the place to whom I'll always be grateful for my 3 wonderful day tours at ”reasonable prices” in the hotel car driven by him (the first to Jerash & Royal Automobile Museum, the second to Mount Nebo & the Dead Sea, and the third to the ”3 desert castles” to the east) and who also provided additional great services (obtaining the Jett bus ticket to Petra, transport to that bus station in the early morning & finally transport to the Airport upon checkout for leaving the country). So yes, the ”best part” of staying at this hotel for anyone, I would say, will be meeting its manager (thank you so very much, Hani). And with that being said, another nice thing about this hotel I was quite pleased by is its location in the vicinity of the Old Town (just about a 5-minute walk to the right after coming down from this hotel) with plenty of miscellaneous shops including restaurants & small grocery places, and yes also located at a very short taxi ride from this hotel (just 5 minutes or so) is the city's ”number-one site” which is the Citadel (with also another great site which is the Roman Amphitheater pretty much right at the bottom of the Citadel hill).

For this booking, I am very grateful to Ctrip customer service for following up, but I don’t understand that the hotel has a package for breakfast and dinner. When checking in, they said that they don’t include dinner, but the price is also enough. It is more expensive than the hotel’s website. In the end, Ctrip’s customer service It is suggested that Su Lu can be reimbursed to Ctrip. If the hotel does not have a package that includes food and drink, it will be canceled and mislead consumers. In fact, this dinner package is not cheap, because people are doing things outside, so it is convenient to take it without going out. If you book in advance and pay in advance, only breakfast and dinner are included, at least RMB300 cheaper per night

It’s about 5 minutes away from the shopping mall and 2 minutes away from Jett bus station. There are actually no restaurants nearby. I didn’t have time to have breakfast because I got up too early to catch the bus. However, the hotel staff is really nice. Remember when you check in There seems to be a Chinese. My sister at the front desk arranged to take them to a local Arab restaurant with a good price/performance ratio to take beautiful pictures and asked me if I want to join. But because I made an appointment with a local friend in Amman, I didn’t go there. I don’t know the experience. What about, there is also a little brother on the night shift, who prepared breakfast for me early in the morning, although in the end I left because I didn’t have time to eat in the car, in short, if I stayed overnight just to take the Jett bus the next day, it’s not very good, after all. The price is not high, and the location is average, but in general it is still ok.

The hotel was very popular about 25 years ago I’m told by locals. The staff are very welcoming and friendly however the hotel doesn’t seem to have ever been updated from it’s heyday. The rooms are so dusty my nose started to bleed by the time I left. The bathrooms have brown furniture and a bidet instead of a toilet spray. I hated using the toilet and bath, I felt dirtier coming out than going in! The balcony was only a foot deep and the windows let in so much noise. I would have left and booked another hotel but it was non refundable. The only thing that made it nice was the staff. Outside the hotel were taxis that overcharged but if you do need one just cross the road and hail one, it’s a lot cheaper. The hotel across the road is more modern for a similar price, I’d go there if I had to return.
