YYouqianbishishaoyafenThe location is right by Xinghai Square, perfect for a city walk along the sea. The staff were all very enthusiastic. They even helped me collect several packages in advance. After an early check-in, the room wasn't quite ready, so we went out for a stroll, and they delivered our luggage directly to the room. The room was clean, with a simple and elegant style, a large projector, and great natural light. The toiletries were also very good.
A few minor drawbacks: The trash can (P5), perhaps to match the room's style, was incredibly small, especially for a double room. Honestly, it was hard to fit even two or three water bottles. We ended up using our own shopping bag for trash. Also, there's only one washing machine and one dryer in the basement, which isn't enough. On the day I went to do laundry, there were people eating, drinking, and smoking in the basement. Is it really appropriate to allow smoking in a laundry area (especially a confined basement space)? The soundproofing felt average. It was fine on our floor, but our room was near the street, and we could hear people playing music, which was a bit noisy. Food delivery isn't allowed upstairs, and staff can't help bring it up; you have to go down to get it yourself. I understand they might be worried about taking responsibility if something goes wrong with the delivery, but there's only one elevator in the building. Having to go up and down for food delivery is a bit inconvenient. Although it's only a few steps from the elevator to the delivery pickup point, sometimes you've just taken the elevator up and then immediately have to go down again, and with only one elevator, you have to wait a while, which is a bit of a hassle.
Finally, at check-out, the front desk attendant helped push our luggage out to the car. The service, overall, was impeccable. The housekeeping staff were also very kind and always asked if we needed cleaning.

The B&B is located at Dalian Fisherman's Wharf, directly opposite the sea. The first floor is a breakfast restaurant + coffee bar, and the second floor is a B&B. The overall accommodation is very retro and very photogenic.
The environment is super good. I stayed in a triple room for two nights and a quadruple room for one night. The price is fair and reasonable! I came before May Day so there weren't that many people.
The big bed in the room faces the sea, it has a duplex structure, dry and wet separation, clean bedding, and it is pet-friendly! ! ! I brought a kitten and a puppy. My dog is very well behaved and doesn't bark. The staff will also take care of the kittens and puppies.
Travel photography at the pier: I especially want to praise the travel photography! The retouching is super natural, I’m not even wearing any makeup! The photos you took of me look really good. I’ll give you five for free! Posting to Moments is especially chill
Service: The breakfast is very good, and the best way to describe it is clean! The wontons are freshly made by the old man, the noodles are all hand-rolled, the shrimp paste is especially delicious, and the Italian meat sauce is not bad either! I want to praise the coffee, the Americano and latte are very pure~

The front desk service was excellent; they confirmed my room type a day in advance and even upgraded me to two incredible sea-view rooms. Facing the ocean was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, and service are all top-notch. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

AAnonymous UserI did a lot of research before coming to Dalian, and with a two-year-old, this room type immediately caught my eye. I thought my child would absolutely love the slide. And sure enough, as soon as we entered the room, she adored it! Every time we were in the room, she'd go up to play. The castle 🏰 is beautiful and great for photos. I also booked a room with a soft play area, and my child had a blast there too. Choosing to stay at Castle Hotel this time was truly worth it.

LLennoxxMy friend told me this was the best Four Seasons in Northeast China, and I had a really pleasant stay in Dalian this time. Before checking in, I communicated my needs and they even upgraded me to a sea view room for free!
The hotel's overall service was incredibly attentive and thorough; they pretty much granted every request. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent – I loved the scent. The sea view from the room was also outstanding.
The location is fantastic too. It's very close to Silver Beach, Bangchuidao Island, Nanshan Road, and Zhongshan Square. Personally, I think it's more convenient than staying near Xinghai Square. There are also many must-try restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
I highly recommend this hotel; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

AAnonymous UserMy trip to Dalian was centered around Hard Rock, and more specifically, acquiring pins from the Rock Shop.
During check-in, the receptionist was incredibly enthusiastic. Her service had a certain straightforward, welcoming 'Northern style' that was quite refreshing. The room had a small balcony, but I barely noticed it; I dropped my bags and made a beeline for the Rock Shop, as that was the main event.
It was just past peak season, so it wasn't crowded. I went straight to the pin display case. When I was taking photos, the staff member thoughtfully opened the case for me, allowing me a clearer view of all the current season's pins. This small gesture instantly revealed he was a fellow collector, truly understanding the mindset of an enthusiast.
Upon learning I was particularly fond of the Core Icon series, the staff member immediately brought out some 'store reserves' from the back, which included the Dalian Core Icon and an opening day pin. These were technically not for sale, but noticing there were two Core Icons, I cheekily pleaded with him to let me have one. After navigating several internal approvals, my new friend went out of his way to make an exception for me, and I finally got my wish!
The Hard Rock pin collecting community is incredibly small, and we even discovered we had mutual friends when we chatted! So when he said, '成人之美' – essentially, 'it's a pleasure to help someone achieve their desire' – it perfectly captured the mutual respect and camaraderie that runs through our small community of collectors. My heartfelt thanks!
If you're a fellow pin enthusiast, you absolutely must come and check it out, and have a chat with the store manager in person. That's where true passion and dedication truly shine.
Oh, and remember the manager's name – Rock Shop Michael Jackson!

GGuest UserMy overall experience staying at the Shangri-La Hotel Dalian was fantastic. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and welcoming. The room I was given was very spacious and bright, making for a very comfortable stay. The bedding was also clean and neatly arranged. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, making it very convenient to catch a taxi and get around anywhere. The hotel also features a beautiful garden view, which really brightened my mood. The check-out process with Delaney was professional and quick, and the thoughtful little gift she prepared for me made me feel truly at home – a wonderful surprise! If I come back to Dalian, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

I chose the Four Seasons Whale Song Resort when I came to Shicao Beach in Dalian, and my stay was absolutely fantastic—definitely five stars! The hotel is tucked away in Amber Bay on Binhai East Road, boasting its own private beach. You step out to blue skies and ocean, with beautiful mountains behind, and the stunning scenery of Binhai Road all around. The moment I opened the window to a sea view, I knew I’d made the right choice.
Check-in was super thoughtful; the front desk staff were efficient and proactively introduced the hotel facilities and local attractions. They even kindly offered a welcome fruit platter and snacks—every detail showed how much care they put in. The sea-view room was both beautiful and comfortable. The Wabi-sabi style decor was minimalist yet tasteful, and the soft bedding made for a truly relaxing sleep. The separate bathroom's bathtub and brand-name toiletries were a big plus, and the wet/dry separation design was thoughtful. The room was spotlessly clean, with no dusty corners, and even the air freshener had a light, fresh scent, making for a very pleasant stay. Lying in bed, I had a direct sea view, waking up to the golden glow of the sunrise over the horizon and watching the sunset paint the sky in the evening, drifting off to the sound of the waves. This sense of healing is truly irreplaceable.
The hotel’s amenities were also fantastic. The breakfast at the Whale Delight Restaurant on the second floor offered a mix of Chinese and Western options, with fresh ingredients and a wide variety. Enjoying breakfast with a sea view was a wonderful start to the day. The afternoon tea and seaside bar also had a great atmosphere, making for a supremely relaxing experience while sipping a drink in the sea breeze. The Whale Wonder Art Space on the first floor was filled with exotic antique furniture and decorations—every photo was Instagram-worthy. You can even buy beloved soft furnishings from the hotel, and occasionally there are art exhibitions and DIY activities, allowing you to soak in an artistic vibe during your vacation. The exclusive beach area was uncrowded and beautiful; the beach swing and Moroccan rock photo spot were perfect for pictures. A leisurely stroll on the beach with the sea breeze instantly melted all my worries away.
What’s even more commendable is the hotel's all-around service. Whether it was the front desk, the concierge, or the cleaning staff, everyone was incredibly warm and attentive. Any request was quickly met, almost like having a personal butler. They even thoughtfully offered a travel photography service, and the photos turned out incredibly atmospheric. The hotel's location is also very convenient, not far from Fisherman's Wharf and Tiger Beach Ocean Park. For those driving, there's a free private car park, making travel incredibly easy.
Overall, the Four Seasons Whale Song truly perfected the romance and comfort of a coastal vacation. It's ideal for couples, friends, or families. I’ve already added this hotel to my must-stay list for Dalian, and I’ll definitely choose it again next time I visit!

Room was nice, with a great view over the city area and a comfortable bed, separated from the bathroom areas behind a wall. Great location, just about 3 minutes walking to ZhongShan Square, the center of the downtown area. Very close to the metro stations, many places to eat, some convenience stores, and some shopping areas. Can walk to many places, even over to NanShan Road and NanShan Street in a short time. The gym and workout/fitness area was very good, large and had a lot of equipment including several aerobic machines and free weights as well. Was also very easy to catch a Didi out front. Note: The lobby is up on level 6, and the hotel goes from about floors 5-30. I will 100% stay here if I return to DaLian.

HHLIdlenessThis is the first hotel I stayed in that has a hostel feel, rather than a cheap rental house or a fancy capsule hotel. The service and facilities are worth the price. Some of the shortcomings that are not as good as those of a star hotel (average sound insulation, light-transmitting curtains, slow draining of the floor drain) can be overcome (earplugs and eye masks take longer to wash), or in other words, they are not a problem at the cost of 64 per day. There is a Lawson nearby (open 24 hours), the nearest subway station is Xianggong Street, and there is a McDonald's to the south. Take the subway for 2 stops to Roosevelt Square, which is convenient for eating and shopping. The front desk is open from 7:30 to 23:00. The boss is a nice person and has three cats (Mocha, Xiaojiu and Erhei).
