BBH4RAIThe hotel is located at the entrance of Shajiabang Scenic Area. It takes only seven or eight minutes to walk to the ticket gate. The location is very good and quite quiet. Manxinfu is a resort hotel with a river, a bridge, and a promenade. The environment is classical and elegant. It is very good. It is very pleasant to take a walk inside the hotel after dinner. See the picture of the room, clean and tidy. I especially need to say that the hotel staff is very enthusiastic. They took the initiative to help us upgrade the room type and give us breakfast. When they saw us going out, they prepared a few small bottles of water for us, which is easy to carry (the water comes from Bama, the hometown of longevity. I have worked there for several years, so I know that Bama water is good. You can Baidu it yourself). I forgot to ask the name at that time, so I am sorry for several staff members and cannot praise them by name. Before leaving, they also gave us souvenirs. Manxinfu is a hotel worth recommending.

Wwl****The location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

WWangmisi Miss WangHaving stayed at many hotels in Suzhou, I feel this one is an easily overlooked gem. I booked two terrace rooms and called ahead to say we might arrive early. The front desk proactively upgraded us to lake view rooms. The rooms are very spacious with great lake views. What I think is particularly good about this hotel is its incredibly fast service response. From concierge, front desk, and housekeeping to the butlers Haitang and Meigui, everyone was faster and more enthusiastic than at typical five-star hotels. The value for money is exceptional. The restaurant is also worth a visit.

The hotel lobby is on the 46th floor, and the front desk staff, Devin, was incredibly professional and enthusiastic. Rida handled my check-in smoothly and efficiently, with a friendly and kind attitude. The hotel's location is a huge plus, making transportation incredibly convenient; it's very close to Metro Lines 1 and 3, saving time and effort whether you're commuting or sightseeing. The area around the hotel offers plenty of attractions, being near popular spots like Lion Mountain and Shantang Street, making it super easy to explore in your free time. The room had great natural light and ventilation, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Whether for a leisure trip or a short getaway, this hotel is perfectly suited and offers excellent value for money. The courtyard area is absolutely wonderful — very clean, relaxing, with a beautiful pond full of colorful fish that creates a special atmosphere both during the day and evening. The rooms are spacious, fresh, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything feels carefully maintained and much more premium than the price we paid. Honestly, we felt we received far more value than expected. What made this experience truly exceptional was the employee Charles. He was incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely caring during our whole stay. He always helped us with recommendations about the best places to visit, restaurant guidance, arranging taxis, taking care of our luggage, and even helped create a wonderful fish-feeding experience for us. Small details like this made our trip feel special and memorable. You can clearly feel real hospitality here, not just hotel service. We stayed as a couple and would happily return again. DD0971****As other online reviews mentioned, don't expect much from the service here. 1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail. 2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief. 3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down). There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident. Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

The guesthouse is right by the lake, offering stunning scenery. The room was very clean, the bedding was comfy, and the toiletries were well-stocked, making for a very relaxing stay. They even proactively helped with luggage, recommended great local food and attractions, and pointed out the best photo spots. The surrounding area is lovely, perfect for relaxing, walking, or just unwinding. It's also not far from the scenic spots, so getting around was easy. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stay here again!

The hotel's B1 level has a seamless connection to Xinghai Square Station on Metro Line 1, which is incredibly convenient for business travelers or exploring Jinji Lake. The front desk staff were efficient and professional, and my Marriott Bonvoy member benefits were fully honored. The room was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a direct view of the Gate of the Orient. The bedding was soft and conducive to sleep, and the marble bathroom had excellent water pressure. The gym on the 27th floor offers an amazing view, allowing you to work out while enjoying the city skyline. MOMO Café's breakfast spread was extensive, with authentic freshly made Suzhou-style noodles and Eggs Benedict, and the service was attentive and proactive. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Suzhou!
