Beach Hotels in Haikou

Our stay was fantastic. The executive lounge staff arranged a room with an amazing view for us in advance, just as we requested, and even kindly helped us with a late check-out. Knowing we were traveling, they also sent us a practical and authentic travel guide, much better than what you find on Xiaohongshu. We followed their recommendations and enjoyed an amazing food tour. Hainan has so much delicious food! The hotel's environment was truly excellent, and we had a wonderful stay.

Staying at the Haikou State Guesthouse this trip was beyond my expectations! Especially the service attitude of the hotel staff – they proactively upgraded my room, which was fantastic. And Xiao Meng at the front desk made my stay very pleasant. It was also very clean, though the facilities are a bit old, given how long the hotel has been open. I really enjoyed my stay, and the breakfast was excellent too!

Service: There's a very thoughtful, polite, and responsible elder gentleman named Grandpa Dai in the lobby. He's enthusiastic and dedicated, particularly attentive to children's needs. He was busy helping us with extra amenities, introducing the hotel, and even guided us to the restaurant we were looking for. Mr. Dai's service spirit adds new charm to a traditional hotel, allowing us to experience a different side of Haikou. Facilities: As I had anticipated, they are indeed a bit old. Hygiene: The cleaning was timely every day, and all requests were promptly fulfilled.

Facilities: I really liked the room style at Langham, it was very bright and spacious. We booked a sea-view room, and the view was excellent on a clear day! The lounge on the 43rd floor was charming, though a bit small. The staff there were very good. Breakfast: The food was decent and quite varied. The service from the male and female staff was also good. Service: Ms. Julie has a sweet and warm voice! We checked in around 4 PM on the 6th, after heavy rain (check-in was on the 43rd floor, not the 1st). There were two ladies at the front desk at the time, whose names I remember but won't mention. One was new, the other seemed experienced. Neither of them greeted us or even made eye contact when we approached. The non-new staff member did arrange a quiet room for us, which met our request, but her attitude was cold throughout, making us feel quite uncomfortable. When we finished checking in, she didn't even point out the elevators to go up. Overall, this left us with a very poor first impression of Langham. We all work hard, but in the service industry, you should know how to treat guests; I shouldn't have to teach you as a tourist, should I? You could at least pretend for a few minutes. In short, the front desk service that day was worse than an Atour hotel. Additional points: The swimming pool was very comfortable. The gentleman who helped with our luggage was smiling, very warm and professional – highly recommended! If I have the chance to visit Haikou again, I would still consider staying at Langham. For this price, getting such a comfortable room is already excellent (it would be even better if the pillows could be replaced with something similar to Atour's).

🌻 I stayed at the Marriott Hotel for my vacation in Haikou. A butler proactively contacted me before check-in, and the check-in process was smooth upon arrival, with the staff introducing the hotel's services. The hotel's location is excellent, with a beach nearby and adjacent to the convention center. It's about 3 kilometers from the duty-free city, with a fixed shuttle service daily. 🌻 My room was on the 7th floor of the West Wing's executive level. The room was spacious, facing the sea with a balcony, offering panoramic views of the hotel. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, with stable water pressure and temperature, making for a comfortable shower experience. Toiletries were complete and of good quality. The 8-foot king bed ensured a good night's sleep. Housekeeping was good, and supplies were replenished promptly. Some of the electrical outlets in the room were a bit old. 🌻 The lobby is on the 3rd floor, and breakfast is served at the Western restaurant on the 1st floor from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The food variety was rich and delicious, featuring local delicacies and catering to international guests' tastes. The restaurant also provided baby cutlery. Both the Chinese and Western restaurants offer full-course meals. 🌻 The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including children's and adult swimming pools, and a natural hot spring. During the summer holiday, there were many children and various activities. Guests on the executive floor can enjoy executive benefits, such as afternoon tea from 2 PM to 5 PM at the executive lounge on the 8th floor, light snacks from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, and drinks served until 10 PM after dinner.

The hotel facilities are quite new and the hygiene is well-maintained. I particularly liked the design of the bathroom and walk-in closet; it's spacious and has a great wet/dry separation. The breakfast selection was decent, with most essential items available. If you go early, it's less crowded and the staff are very prompt with their service. Even if it gets busy later, they proactively help you find a seat, so there's no issue of fighting for tables. However, there was a small hiccup. Around 10 AM, while I was still sleeping, a staff member repeatedly knocked and rang the doorbell, saying they wanted to clean the room, which woke me up. After complaining to guest services, they offered to send a fruit platter, but since I was about to leave, I declined. What's unbelievable is that when I returned to my room in the evening, I found that the room hadn't been cleaned at all.

The room facilities are complete; although they look a bit dated, they are very well maintained and don't affect the user experience at all. The cleanliness is also excellent, with both public areas and rooms meeting five-star standards. The environment speaks for itself – it's a 2-minute walk to the coastline with soft, fine sand, and there are recreational activities available on the beach. While the sea color isn't as crystal clear as in Sanya, it doesn't detract from the beach experience. The service is also very attentive; whether it's check-in, the pool, or dining, the experience is great. Guests even get a butler who adds them on WeChat to provide service, always responsive to requests. Overall, I highly recommend staying here when in Haikou.

Huge thanks to the lady in the first picture who upgraded us for free to a 180-degree sea view room! My child was absolutely thrilled. It was even on the executive floor, and the room had a dehumidifier and a capsule coffee machine, and it was so quiet. The room was clean, and the bedding wasn't damp. Since we were extending our stay, we requested no housekeeping on the second day and were even given two complimentary milk teas. Just staying at the hotel was enough to have a great time; there were little squirrels, bunnies, ostriches, and peacocks, a huge children's splash pool, and an Instagram-worthy infinity pool. The hotel grounds are also beautifully landscaped. There's a gate behind the infinity pool that leads straight to the beach, and you need to swipe your card to enter, which prevents non-guests from coming in—very secure. You can even have food delivery brought to your room by a robot, so you can pretty much just relax. The buffet at Tian Yuan Hui is genuinely delicious, but it's only available on weekends. On weekday evenings, you have to go to Hua Wei Xuan Chinese Restaurant, where the dishes are also tasty, but a bit pricey and service can be slow. The hotel offers free airport transfers, and the gentleman in the last picture was also very kind, making check-out a pleasant experience. I really love the Haikou Greenbelt Hilton and will definitely be back; we didn't want to leave. Oh, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything is delicious, especially the freshly made Hainan noodles – they were the best I've had at any hotel during my time in Hainan and Sanya.

This hotel is probably the one with the closest rooms to the sea in Haikou. The hotel facilities are old, but if you don't have high requirements for the room, the stay experience is still good. There are hot springs and swimming pools. The swimming pool here is very beautiful for taking pictures. The hot spring and swimming pool are integrated, and there is a beach and the sea in front. The cost performance is very high. By the way, the front desk service is very enthusiastic, and there is also an uncle who came to my room to help fix the TV. He is very nice!

This stay was a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, close to Xiuying Port. The community environment is beautiful, with lots of greenery. The receptionist was quick to process the check-in and provided excellent service. The upgrade to a sea view room offered a stunning nighttime view. It was great value for money!
