ahyndFacilities: The decor is very new; it's probably one of the newer hotels in Haikou right now.
Cleanliness: Clean and fresh.
Environment: Vientiane City is just two traffic lights away, making shopping and dining super convenient. Wanlu Garden is also within walking distance.
Service: The front desk staff, after hearing I wanted to see the sunset, recommended upgrading to a Premium Seaview room, which was absolutely stunning. The room they assigned also faced Binhai Avenue, offering a perfect night view.

Guest UserThis is one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed at so far 😊 The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, breakfast offers a rich variety, and the staff are attentive and thoughtful... The resort has a kids' pool, and there's a bubble party in the afternoon, which the little ones absolutely loved... Just across the road is the beach where you can collect seashells 🐚 and I even spotted some small crabs 🦀... Upon check-out, Miss Wang at the front desk even prepared a souvenir gift for us 🎁 All in all, it's a seaside hotel worth staying at 🌴

SuchaoweiThe biggest issue with the room was the completely transparent bathroom and shower! That was a bit much! Everything else was good, though the overall decor style felt a bit heavy. For the breakfast buffet, someone guided us to a designated table, which was a unique touch. Of course, compared to Sanya, the value for money here is double. The hotel pool is nice, and the environment is pleasant. It just doesn't have the sandy beaches like Sanya, even though it's also by the sea.

arkenchanterWhen I came to Haikou, I booked The Langham so I could go for a run in the morning. My last stay at a Langham was in Shanghai, and just like there, the lobby had a lovely, welcoming scent. The hotel lobby is on the 40-something floor. The room decor is typical British style. The location is excellent; you step right out into Wanlv Park, perfect for a morning run in the 'oxygen bar.' You can even run all the way to the seaside near Yundong, which is very pleasant. It's not far from Free Bay, and there's also MixC nearby, so finding food isn't an issue. The only downsides are that the gym is a bit small and the equipment is quite old. Hotels seem to be cutting corners these days. All the toiletries are in large dispensers, and the water provided is just standard, but there's plenty of it. Regardless, the location is superb. There's construction happening next door by China Resources, so if your room isn't in a good spot, it might be noisy.

Guest UserThe room was quite spacious and had a balcony, which was lovely for enjoying the sea breeze in the evenings. The weather wasn't too hot during our stay, and there was a drying rack on the balcony, so swimsuits dried overnight. However, the room facilities were definitely on the older side, and there were mold spots on the walls.
The hotel grounds aren't very large, with a swimming pool and hot spring. Getting to the beach requires crossing a road, and it's a rocky beach, not sandy.
The guest service was excellent. They called ahead to ask about our check-in needs, and our butler, Fiona, proactively added us on WeChat and was incredibly responsive to almost every request. She even helped print homework for the kids, and an issue with a smell in the bathroom on the first night was promptly resolved.

BaimaoxiaoxiPerhaps because I'd heard so many negative things about Hilton before, this stay at the Hilton Haikou far exceeded my expectations. So much so that we ended up buying the buffet dinner directly at the hotel and even went for drinks at the bar.
The check-in process was incredibly fast, and the lobby staff provided a seamless transition from the moment we stepped out of the car until we were escorted to the elevator, with three or four different employees involved. The service from the WeChat butler, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, and gym was all excellent. It really feels like this Hilton is very well-trained. The bedding was fantastic, comparable to what I've experienced at JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton, especially the down pillows – I was so pleased I wanted to buy some for home after sleeping on them.

Absolutely perfect! I initially thought it was an old hotel, but it completely won me over with its service and consistent quality. First off, there's the Kids' Creativity Park, offering all sorts of fun activities and photo ops for children. Secondly, I just found out it's part of the Marriott family of hotels. The staff were incredibly patient; I can't remember the name of the front desk attendant who helped us, but they kept my ID safe after I lost it, bringing me the joy of finding something I thought was gone forever. The Wi-Fi signal in our room was poor, but the 'little butler' (concierge) and front desk staff patiently came to our room multiple times to help us troubleshoot. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and you can even spot squirrels on the walk there. The kids had an absolute blast, especially with the sand bikes! It's truly the perfect hotel for families. I recommended it to friends the very next day, and they also stayed there for two nights the following Tuesday, reporting a truly excellent experience. Another plus is that there are lots of foreign children here, and everyone seems so happy and relaxed! Plus, they're very delivery-friendly; you can order anything you want, which is a huge bonus. It was a fantastic experience, and I might even come back for a second stay!

GuozimimaHuge thanks to the lady in the first picture who upgraded us for free to a 180-degree sea view room! My child was absolutely thrilled. It was even on the executive floor, and the room had a dehumidifier and a capsule coffee machine, and it was so quiet. The room was clean, and the bedding wasn't damp. Since we were extending our stay, we requested no housekeeping on the second day and were even given two complimentary milk teas. Just staying at the hotel was enough to have a great time; there were little squirrels, bunnies, ostriches, and peacocks, a huge children's splash pool, and an Instagram-worthy infinity pool. The hotel grounds are also beautifully landscaped. There's a gate behind the infinity pool that leads straight to the beach, and you need to swipe your card to enter, which prevents non-guests from coming in—very secure. You can even have food delivery brought to your room by a robot, so you can pretty much just relax. The buffet at Tian Yuan Hui is genuinely delicious, but it's only available on weekends. On weekday evenings, you have to go to Hua Wei Xuan Chinese Restaurant, where the dishes are also tasty, but a bit pricey and service can be slow. The hotel offers free airport transfers, and the gentleman in the last picture was also very kind, making check-out a pleasant experience. I really love the Haikou Greenbelt Hilton and will definitely be back; we didn't want to leave. Oh, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything is delicious, especially the freshly made Hainan noodles – they were the best I've had at any hotel during my time in Hainan and Sanya.

Anonymous UserThis hotel is very close to the sea. You can hear the sound of the waves in the room. When you lie on the bed, you can see the swimming pool, coconut trees, and the beach. I especially like the hot spring swimming pool here. I don't want to leave. I have lived here since 2002. It was very ”aristocratic” back then. Now there are more hotels on the west coast and fewer people here, which is exactly the advantage here. It is very quiet. You can be in a daze here and think about problems. There is no cafeteria here. It is perfect to go to the nearby Fushan Cafe for breakfast, and go to the nearby Sheraton for afternoon tea in the afternoon. Before and after dinner, walk along the wave line outside the hotel to the Sheraton.
It's not that you can't afford to stay at the Sheraton, but it's more cost-effective to watch the sea, listen to the sea and touch the sea here.

This stay was a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, close to Xiuying Port. The community environment is beautiful, with lots of greenery. The receptionist was quick to process the check-in and provided excellent service. The upgrade to a sea view room offered a stunning nighttime view. It was great value for money!
