Beach Hotels in Haikou

After a long search, I finally chose Sofitel, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel's environment and hygiene both seemed very new and well-maintained. The sea view from the high-rise overlooking the city was absolutely stunning. The buffet was also great, with a rich variety of dishes and fresh ingredients. It's within walking distance to popular attractions, making it very convenient for getting around. Overall, my stay was a perfect 10!

I had a great stay here for two days before, so for my wedding anniversary and birthday, my husband and I decided to come back. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful; after finding out about our special occasion, they upgraded us to a scenic suite, decorated the room, and even sent a birthday cake. Even though the lobby was busy, they didn't miss a beat in providing attentive service, helping us with our luggage to the room and letting us choose our preferred room. The hotel also assigned a dedicated staff member to assist us, their 'special' guests, which was a very considerate touch. My favorite part was definitely the hotel's breakfast – it's incredibly rich and a must-try. In fact, the breakfast is so good, and the Cantonese morning tea at the hotel's Chinese restaurant is also very authentic; the roasted pigeon was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and every dish was excellent. They even gifted us longevity noodles, which was a very kind gesture. The dinner buffet, however, was a bit less impressive and could use some improvement. There's a Huacai Commercial Plaza right next to the hotel, just a few minutes' walk away. In the future, they'll have paddleboarding in the pool and many more kids' facilities. It's very suitable for family trips, and we'll definitely be back, bringing our son next time to enjoy it all again. A big thank you again to all the hotel staff for making our wedding anniversary so perfect.

The hotel service was excellent, haha! A special thanks to the front desk for their warm service. The room was on a very high floor with amazing views, hehe. They even helped arrange a room with a great view for my stay. The weather in Haikou has been quite gloomy recently, so remember to bring an umbrella when you go out. The ginger lily scent was delightful. I'd definitely come back with friends and family if I get the chance.

First off, the location is super convenient, really close to the harbor. The front desk service was excellent; the lady was very warm and patiently explained everything. Secondly, the sea view room was dark when I arrived at night, but in the morning, it was a pleasant surprise – the sea view is gorgeous! Beautiful blue water and white clouds, just stunning. The room was spacious enough, and parking was very easy. Highly recommend!

The hotel is by the sea, so the location is great. The room was big and spacious, although a little damp. It would be perfect if every room had a dehumidifier, and if the staff could dehumidify before guests check in, the stay would be even better! Although it was an ocean view room and I could see the sea, the room's position wasn't ideal, and I was too lazy to go to the front desk to change it. There was just an exposed platform downstairs, not a hotel green area, which was a bit of a mood killer. But I was happy to catch the sunrise around 6 AM, that was a pleasant surprise!

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on Wanghai Road, stepping out directly onto the beachfront. There are many unique restaurants and cafes nearby, making it an excellent spot for watching the sunset. The rooms come with private hot springs and offer great privacy. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The room was spotless and well-lit. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The location is super convenient for getting around. They provide a full range of toiletries, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I'd definitely choose this place again for my next trip! You can even just stay in the hotel all day and enjoy the beautiful views.

An excellent choice, quiet, comfortable, uncluttered, and with minimal interaction. Check-in was very quick, and the young man at reception was great, efficient, and friendly. On the way back to the airport, he helped me order a taxi, for which I'm grateful. The big pluses include the view from the window, the ability to run in the mornings and evenings, and the washing machine and refrigerator. They made me feel right at home.

This hotel is probably the one with the closest rooms to the sea in Haikou. The hotel facilities are old, but if you don't have high requirements for the room, the stay experience is still good. There are hot springs and swimming pools. The swimming pool here is very beautiful for taking pictures. The hot spring and swimming pool are integrated, and there is a beach and the sea in front. The cost performance is very high. By the way, the front desk service is very enthusiastic, and there is also an uncle who came to my room to help fix the TV. He is very nice!
