We as a family of four with two 7yo who visit China for the first time love this stay very much.
One thing we love is its proximity to main tourist sites like Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Temple of Heaven, etc.
The service is top-notched. Every staff member is friendly and would proactively offer assistance. The Meituan delivery lockers are in the secure place indoor. Love it.
The hotel is one of a kind, like a museum. Make sure you spend sometime tour around. Some of the art pieces are better than the ones in actual museum.

Great place to stay: walking distance to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Wangfujing. Hotel has great service. Jeff met us at the entrance and took care of our luggages while Stella, Xi and Mark tried to check us in even though we arrived early morning. Food service was excellent with choices of western and Asian food. Lots of choice to choose from. Manager Chen, Chef Xiao Dage were there to ensure empty tray were quickly refilled with food. Bill and Baozi kept the table clean as soon as the guests leave the table. Baozi made nice fresh noodle soup. Our deluxe room was spacious and clean with inside garden with sunroof top that left opened to get fresh air. We greatly enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere at walking distance to the 3 main attractions. .

I recently stayed at Madison, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient.
The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night’s sleep after a long day of exploring.
What truly stood out was the breakfast buffet—delicious and diverse options that catered to all tastes! Additionally, the location couldn't be better; it's conveniently situated near popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
Overall, my stay at Madison is was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning on my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great experience!

I got a fabulous surprise. The chambermaid took her initiative & cleaned our luggage. Wow! It's so impressive.
I called for some water-bottled water & a robot delivered them. The drinks felt warmth. So thoughtful, especially when the cold weather. The staff were also very generous to offer us water whenever we requested it. Keep up the good work.
The breakfast food was also served piping hot.
Hotel is situated at great location. Pick up n dropp off point in front of the hotel. Very near to public transport.
Will definitely recommend & come back again.

The hotel is really near to Wangfujing metro (approximately 3 mins walk from E3 exit) which is super convenient for us especially when we have many luggages. Secondly, the hotel rooms are really spacious and is enough for us to put 4 big luggages. Lastly, to us, it's worth the price paid given that there are so many good points about the hotel. There are 2 washer and 2 dryers, free mineral water (you can get more if it's not enough!) and some of the receptionists were really friendly and helpful too (sadly not all :( ). Also thankful that the hotel allow us to check out an hour later! Will definitely stay again in the future if i visit Beijing and will recommend this hotel to friends and family too!

I have generally only good things to say about my experience. The incredible upgrade from 2 rooms to an apartment was great. Breakfast buffet was included in my rate of choice, and it has one of the most amazing breakfast spreads I have seen. Location was already central and walkable mostly in mall to 2 adjacent MRT stations accessing 3 key MRT lines.
I can only share one photo of 1 of the bedrooms, as the other room and my living room had my family inside. They even have fruit basket for me.
My main minor gripe was that I wish they could also have provided disposable face masks that we then had to find ourselves. Face masks could help with the cold of winter that we underestimated.
But all in all, it was really a great experience at Hyatt. Full marks !

The hotel is a mid to high end brand under the First Home Group. The hotel design follows the concept of "urban retreat space", focusing on the core needs of frequent travelers, combining simplicity with Chinese culture to create a peaceful and tranquil accommodation experience space that returns to nature in the city. Pursuing the artistic conception of leaving space for oneself while walking< The hotel is located at No. 19 Jinyu Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing, near Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. It offers a variety of room types to choose from and provides a Chinese health buffet breakfast. The hotel also has supporting facilities such as a book bar, tea bar, laundry room, etc., to meet the needs of guests for travel, meetings, and other aspects< The hotel is approximately a 1-minute walk from Exit B of Jinyu Hutong Station on Metro Line 8 and a 10 minute walk from Exit A of Dengshikou Station on Metro Line 5, making transportation very convenient< The hotel is adjacent to fashion shopping centers such as Lotte Intime Mall, New Dong'an Market, Beijing Department Store, and Wangfu Central, where you can experience the instant transformation of Zen and fashion< The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Peking Union Medical College Hospital; The hotel is only a 30 minute walk from Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City; Famous tourist attractions and cultural venues in Beijing, such as Temple of Heaven Park, Beijing Station, Dongdan, Houhai, Nanluoguxiang, Guijie, Art Museum, and Beijing People's Art Theatre, can be conveniently accessed between hotels. Smaller bed but much more floor space which was great because it meant I could actually lay my luggage flat when packing all my clothes and souvenirs before flying back.
Door for closet was partially broken and they temporarily fixed it with tape. If you zoom into the photo, you can see.
Initially there was a smoke scent so I went down to the reception to ask for an extra room card so I can slot it in to keep the exhaust running so that I don’t have to come back to the same problem as I have a sensitive nose. They asked if their help was needed to handle it (how? I’m unsure) but I declined. The scent was cleared up pretty quickly so if that is an issue for you, this was a potential solution.
The window is rather small but helped for ventilation as this was centrally heated and somehow was set at 28 degrees. Though, cleanliness is not up to par as the little nook was a little dusty.
Toilet is really clean and why I actually was convinced to book this hotel (other than the location) but a minor problem is that water would leak from the shower screen onto the floor so if that’s a problem for you, maybe set the bath mat a little further away.
Lighting is kind of poor so if you want to do your makeup, your best bet is by the bed, with the curtains open and a handheld mirror.
This room is situated near the lift and faces the street. (portion copied from my other review) That being said, yes sound insulation is rather poor and you can hear people talking from the other room, proving stereotypes right that Dongbei people are loud. Babies can be tolerated, but god damn was the lady louder than her child who was still in a stroller. For a clearer reference, you can hear a hairdryer being used from opposite the hall. You can also hear when someone is using the bathtub upstairs. Usually was not a big deal since I have headphones in but I wasn’t wearing them throughout the night so I was woken up because some people at this hotel have no decorum and decide to loudly discuss their plans in the hallway at 2am.

Room type was perfect for 3 pax family given that there are 2 toilets. However, we were given the first level right next to the recep, which means we could hear all the noises. Sound proofing was also… almost non existent since you could hear everyone walking pass & banging the doors, and even their conversation.
It was winter, so there’s a centralised heater in the hotel, if you were to turn on the heater, it gets even warmer especially for the person staying on the second level of the loft. Thus, the only way to solve this was to open the window, and given that we are staying on first level, it means we are opening the window to the main street and have another source of noise coming through as people walk pass. There seems to be some sewage smell too, and daily room cleaning doesn’t seem like room was cleaned. Felt like only towels & floor mats were replaced and that’s it.
All in all, room was perfect for 3 pax travellers but just not the greatest that it’s on the first level. Had a really hard time sleeping the entire week. Would probably be better if we were not on first floor.
Location is convenient.

The room is not as pretty as the ones in Peninsula Hong Kong and Shanghai. But the main issue is the service. We arrived at mid night. No one at the entrance to greet or help with our luggage. The staff at concierge was with an unfriendly face.
After check-in, we asked the staff at reception if any of the hotel restaurants were still open. He said only the bar at 14/F did. But funny enough, we went up all the way to 14/F but the bar was closed. How could the hotel staff not know the opening hours of the restaurants?
We then asked the staff at the entrance (finally someone there) if there were any places for a quick bite nearby. He said not at all as it’s very late now. But then we still went out to try. Within 10-minute walk, there were a couple of dumpling places. How could the staff’s answer be so definite when he’s indeed wrong?
In general, the staff was not trained to greet hotel guests. At the corridor of my floor, I took the initiative to say hi to a staff member but surprisingly no response from him. And when I went out through the door at entrance where I was after my husband, a staff member suddenly interrupted my way by walking after my husband but before me. No basic courtesy,
One thing that impressed us was the standing shower area. No water leakage at all which is uncommon for hotels. Good design!

TThe Bit SpaceHighly recommended to experience the taste of Courtyard 民宅四合院. Very convenient location, right at Qianmen. No need to worry about food and drinks, as you are just seconds away from DaShiLan street. The subway is also nearby as well as major attractions such as Tiananmen Square and the Palace Museum. The staff are friendly and attentive, always greeting you when you enter and exit the lobby, and even offering warm drinks during this cold winter.

GGuest UserFacilities: Very new, the hotel is intelligent, no need to insert a card to get electricity. The glass is double-layered and very soundproof🥳There is a small robot to deliver meals, and there is a small refrigerator, which is really great😋The breakfast is also delicious😋It is so comfortable to eat breakfast accompanied by light music😌
Hygiene: Very clean and no odor, the aunties who clean the room are also very meticulous and clean very clean.
Environment: There is a park next to it, very quiet, opening the window to watch the breeze in the park is very pleasant😌, going out to play is also very close to Qinghe subway station, very convenient,😝I think it is a very good choice for consumers whether it is travel or business trip. There is a parking lot at the door of the hotel🅿️Next to it is Luckin Coffee Shop, which is great.
Service: The front desk staff are very attentive and in place🫰Whatever you need will be delivered quickly, and the front desk staff will also patiently explain where to go when you come here to play🫶🏻Every time they meet, they will say hello, they are really polite! The service is very good and friendly. I like the handsome guys and beautiful girls at the front desk. I will stay here again next time. I sincerely recommend it to all netizens! !
GGuest UserThe room supply was tight during the Spring Festival. We booked a room at 9pm. We wanted a quiet room away from the road, and it was satisfied. The soundproofing was OK. It was quiet if you were away from the road, but you could hear the noise in the corridor. It was not noisy and was very quiet when you were sleeping. The fresh air system was easy to use, the screen projection was simple, and the service was also very good. Necessities, water and drinks were provided. The room service was fast, and there was a robot for delivering meals, so you didn't need to go downstairs. The quality of the breakfast buffet in the morning was also very good. If you have a lot of luggage, the manager downstairs will help you bring the luggage up. There is a printer on the first floor, which can print documents, which is not inferior to the 5-star hotel I stayed in before.
JJulia CLWe got confused after we checked in and noticed that there wasn't a door into the bathroom. Called the housekeeping, and they informed that the door was removed because it was spoilt. I think its rather irresponsible to not inform beforehand. The room was changed after complaining. The new room, not sure if it's because it's winter, it's like a sauna in the room! Even the corridor is cooler than the room! There is nothing we can do to adjust the temperature and with the direct sunlight shining in, it just makes it worse.
During checking in, I enquired about some day tours but the front office staff couldn't give much information. Generally, the staff are not very enthusiastic and friendly.
The plus point is the location. It is about 5 mins walk from Xidan metro station. Lots of food and shopping around the hotel.
AAnudariI had a wonderful stay at Citigo Hotel in Beijing. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service throughout my stay was excellent, with staff always ready to assist. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable, offering a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel with my family and it was an absolute delight! This place is a haven for families seeking comfort and convenience. The room was incredibly spacious, allowing us to move around comfortably. My son was over the moon with the bathtub – it was a definite highlight of his stay!
One standout feature was the presence of two bathrooms, which proved to be a game-changer in terms of convenience. No more morning rush hour! I must give a special shout-out to the desk guy, Leo, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. His excellent service truly made a difference.
The location is also a major plus – surrounded by numerous restaurants, we were spoiled for choice when it came to dining options. It's a huge relief not having to venture far for a delicious meal.
All in all, this hotel exceeded our expectations and provided us with a fantastic family experience. We'll definitely be returning on our next visit!
DDr. Julio BernalWe love this hotel for the location and the size of the room. The place is very luxurious but one thing that can be improved is the temperature for the rooms. They over used the heater and we had to ask to lower it. It still felt too warm. We asked them to open the room window but still it was too hot. The breakfast was very good with some room for improvement. The buffet looked cramped in an area of the restaurant. The location of some of the items wasn’t the most strategically. For instance, to grab some fruit you have to be practically on top of other items of the salad bar. People could literally breath on top of the food. Overall this hotel is great but it needs a major upgrade in the rooms and the wet area of the gym/pool. The showers there need some work. The steam room wasn’t working. Only the dry sauna worked. It need better cleaning as well
尤尤多拉The position of this hotel is amazing: you are literally in the center of Beijing, in a hold classical 胡同 (For a foreigner it can look like a disreputable place, but it is safe). Furthermore you are not even 15 minutes away from the forbidden city and there is a subway station next to the hotel, which is really convenient. The 24/7 desk service is perfect for early checkouts, especially if you need to catch a flight in the morning. The price is really low, If you consider the position. The AC is good, the room was really warm (even too much) and it was nice coming home after a long day in the cold of Beijing.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself is not very clean: when we arrived the room was pretty much okay but it looked like no one vacuumed the floors, there was also a lot of dust. The WiFi works terribly, which is a big deal breaker If you are a foreigner and would like to use it when you get back home. We didn't have many problems with the language because we also speak Chinese, but the staff can use translating apps to communicate. Another thing I didn't appreciate is that we were told that people would come into the room to give us free water and take out the trash: obviously these are good things, but maybe notifying the clients would be better so we could put away our valuable stuff.
Anyways, if you are interested in a low-cost place in the city centre and you don't have many problems with a little dirt in the room, this hotel is perfect. I would actually come back, if I ever return to Beijing.
