The room was spacious, clean, tidy, and very comfortable. It had a bathtub and a separate shower, with excellent water pressure. Although the view from the window wasn't of the lake, it was still beautiful. From the third floor, you could go directly to the lakeside. Walking along the dam, the lake and mountain scenery, along with the hotel's exterior, all made for a great experience. The housekeeping staff on our floor were all very kind and attentive, which made us very happy. The hotel provided a complimentary fruit-picking package. Although it was past peach season, we could pick chestnuts, and finding a whole patch of chestnuts under the trees was an unparalleled joy. Overall, this hotel is definitely worth it.

I arrived around 3 PM, and there weren't many people. Check-in was very quick. There are three elevators: two for guests and one for service, so getting up and down was fast. The room wasn't very big, and the soundproofing was just okay; you could clearly hear people talking in the hallway. The hotel felt quite old, and one of the lights in the room wouldn't turn off. It looked like an old guesthouse from years ago. The bed linens were clean, and the bathroom was also fairly clean. The only downside was that the carpet was quite dirty. Under the bed, there was an old packet of KFC sauce, I'm not sure how old it was. There are restaurants nearby, and it's quite close to attractions like Yanqi Lake and Hongluo Temple. Its main advantage is the cheap price.

The hotel is in a great location, just opposite the No. 101 Middle School. Although it is close to the highway, there are few cars. They also gave us a thoughtful reminder before check-in. The room was very clean and the hygiene was very good. The front desk service was very thoughtful and careful. Although we were woken up by the alarm on the morning of the second day of check-in, the housekeeper explained it in a timely manner and gave us many gifts (cleaning and care products, bear towels, key chains, etc.) to express our apology. The children were very happy. We can actually understand that. It was a pleasant stay. We will choose again.

Our stay in the villa building this time exceeded all expectations; it's the quietest and most comfortable hotel we've ever stayed in. The interior was spotless, though we couldn't find a coffee machine. The scenery was breathtaking, and the breakfast was superb! Manager Jiang arranged a complimentary tour of the convention center and Yanqi Pagoda for us. Our guide, Guo Xusheng, was patient, enthusiastic, and humorous! Thumbs up, 7-star review!

The hotel facilities are basic but sufficient, and the cleanliness is exceptional. There are no hard-to-reach spots in the rooms or bathrooms, making for a pleasant stay. Hotel guests can use their room cards to visit the film and television base; the European street and Jiangnan scenery are quite novel to see. The surrounding environment is quiet, and the restaurant offers several cuisines with good ingredients. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay for a few days, this is a good option. All the hotel staff are very friendly and dedicated. Special thanks to Ms. He and her colleagues at the front desk, Mr. Cheng for his helpful assistance during the tour of the base, the room service staff, and the restaurant staff.

Although the receptionist speaks little English, they are very warm and welcoming. Ready to serve and proactive especially the lady by the name of 姜叶. She has been communicating with me to ensure that I have no problem with my check-in. Mutianyu Great Wall Hotel (MGWH) is located in Mutianyu Scenic Area thus required to submit our vehicle number prior to entering the area. MGWH is stone away from the cable car /chair lift entrance. It's quiet and serene in the night especially when all the tourists leave after visiting Mutianyu Great Wall. The hotel was so considerate when I informed them that I have 2 elderly traveling on this trip. They upgraded us to a family room as there are lesser steps and stairs for the elderly. The rooms are big and the shower's pressure is good. The breakfast is a simple Chinese selection such as porridge, wontons , bao, fried rice, vegetables, pickles. They do have salad, bread, eggs and baked beans. The hotel also provides unlimited entrance to Mutianyu Great Wall. A RMB20 off each of the round trip cable tickets. No special discount for the lift chairs or Toboggan's ride. Each way @ RMB100 for a single trip up the Great Wall. You can get a round trip at RMB140 for a combined ticket of lift chair + Toboggan. The Toboggan ride is fun and exciting but the downside was that people over 60yo are strictly not allowed to take the ride. CON - there's nothing to do in the night in MGWH., very good to relax after a day up at the Great Wall. Eating is also limited - the hotel restaurant (closed at 8pm), I think depends on the season. Depending on where your room is, the hotel restaurant may be inconvenient especially for our elderly that need to climb the stairs to reach the restaurant. and a nearby restaurant that closes at 630pm. The owner was very nice and agreed to serve us even when we were there after 6pm. she called the chef to request him to stay back for us. Food quality is reasonable.

The location is very good, very close to Wanda, the room is clean and tidy, the decoration is still new, the layout is also very good, very warm, there is a small tea table, 8 bottles of water in the room are generous, the breakfast variety is rich, the customer service is very enthusiastic, I will stay next time.

第一次入住這家酒店，在懷柔城區，酒店環境很安靜，睡眠質量很高，一覺睡到天亮，絕無人打擾，雖然靠近公路，但鬧中取靜。酒店前台的小姑娘們人非常感好，很不錯的！因為酒店沒有早餐和中晚餐，還解決了我們全家吃飯的問題，非常感謝她，雖然我不知道這位小姑娘的名字，但我記住了她！因為小姑娘有點感冒，帶了口罩，我沒看見她的臉，但我知道這位姑娘一定很漂亮！酒店非常好，各個方面！下次一定再過來入住，如果有時間的話。懷柔自從搞得建設輝煌，帶孩子過來吃飯真的非常不方便，性價比非常的差，這是唯一遺憾的地方，當然與這家酒店無關。酒店真的非常好，嚴重推薦，住的很舒適。
