Stayed here couple of times. Its always great to choose double tree. The cookie they give is such cherry on top, there’s no drinking water tho thats a downside.

Thank you to the hotel for upgrading our room. We originally booked a general suite, but it was upgraded to a two-bedroom suite of more than 300 square meters. It was very spacious, with beautiful views and new decoration. Food delivery service is also very good. It gave us a wonderful start in the United States. Thank you to the hotel staff!

Very satisfied. The hotel is quite new. The wall bed room with river view is very practical for a family. The shuttle bus can go to the main attractions, which is very convenient! There is a laundry room for self-service laundry! All in all, I am very satisfied and will definitely choose this place again when I come to Boston in the future!

August 2022. Stayed in a 6 bed female dorm with shared bathroom. The hostel felt very safe with key card entry. All the staff were extremely nice. Kitchen services were great and meant we didn’t have to eat out and could save money. We also washed out clothes for free with the app and you can buy detergent there which is convenient! Showers and bathrooms were great; sometimes a few hairs here and there to be expected in shared bathroom but never ran out of toilet paper or anything like that. The lockers in the room were great the ability to lock away your stuff felt very safe. Especially as young female travellers we were happy here. 10/10 recommend

The room was very good, the waiter was warm and humane, the breakfast was particularly good, catching up with the rain in Boston, the hotel breakfast was convenient and complete. Although there are not many categories, they are all included. Hampton inn is always my first choice. 24-hour coffee, tea, hot water, it feels very warm.

The hotel is very comfortable, clean and quiet! The blue carpet, the interior color is gentle, and the water temperature is not suitable. The little brother came to help adjust it. He told me that this is the second most comfortable hotel in Boston, and I believe it! The night shift service at the front desk is called Sam. He is very nice. He will help you with any questions. If you have a language barrier, he will find a way to use a computer to translate. Will book again next time!

Did I spend roughly $50 (pre-tax & tip) on a lobster roll and a glass of prosecco? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. I'm going to touch on other aspects of my stay, but I can't believe how many fresh tasting, big, succulent chunks of lobster were in this hotel lounge lobster roll. It's cold & mayo based, which I know isn't for everyone (I see you got buttered lobster roll people and I understand completely; I'm just an equal opportunist when it comes to lobster rolls), but it was really good - like, not good for a hotel lounge, but good good. Yum! Ok, so why 4 stars? If it were based on the hospitality of the staff alone, I'd give it 6. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely affable - some were more outgoing than others, sure, but I appreciate mellow kindness. Also, this might be the first time I've remembered to pack all of my extra little charging stations, and I didn't even need them. So many conveniently placed outlets and USB ports - and the main room light was warm toned and welcoming, which is also a little treat :) I had to take away a star because of the general noise. My sleep wasn't disturbed, because I always travel with hardcore ear plugs and a sleep mask, but I couldn't close the curtains all the way (even with the pants hanger clip trick) so there was light coming in, and I could hear everything in the hall. Also plumbing noises (like pipes pinging and gurgling - nothing alarming, just...mildly intrusive). I was also disappointed that there wasn't a laundry bag or dry cleaning service like there are in the other Marriotts I've stayed in; I want to call myself out on not going to the front desk to ask specifically for this, but every other Marriott I've been in has a laundry bag with a dry cleaning order form in the closet. There also weren't any extra blankets in the closet; again, I didn't ask the front for one (and I'm sure they would have given one to me) but I wish there had been one in the room as it was super comfortable until I woke up at 2 am - which is really late and inconvenient to realize you need extra blankets. Ok, so that's why I took away a star. The other 4 are for the friendly staff, incredibly convenient location (anywhere I didn't walk, I took a Bluebike from the stand right outside), gorgeous fitness center (Pelotons?! What?!), and general cleanliness. If I come back to Boston/Cambridge for work, I'm 100% staying here. (If I come for pleasure, I'd probably try a quaint inn or something, but honestly I'd likely stay here the final night of my trip because it is also FIFTEEN MINUTES from the airport. But with a great river view, and no plane noises.) More on the location: walk to the river, and across the Harvard bridge. You're literally right there, and it's a great way to see the city (and while there's a CVS across the street, the one over the bridge is in a historic building. Shuttle comes automatically every 15-20 minutes: No need to call. Hotel is less than 5 minutes from airport. Breakfast is superior and included in the rate. This morning I had corned beef hash, a pancake with strawberries/syrup on top and a made-to-order omelet with several ingredients. There is luggage storage if you need to kill time after check out. The television is very large with comfortable bed.

Room was quiet, well-sized and well decorated. Can’t beat the location if you need to be in Harvard Square. Restaurants and bars in the hotel are nice, Staff are friendly, Housekeeping is good, Downsides: mattress was completely worn out and I could only sleep on one side of the bed. Also they checked another guest into my room, which I discovered when she unlocked the door and walked in at 11 pm (to her surprise). For a super-premium hotel, both of these were unacceptable. Next time I will just save $200-$400 per night and stay at the many two-star hotels in the area.

The room is large and well-equipped, but the wifi needs to be charged separately. The sanitation is very good, the bedding and the toilet are very clean. There are many restaurants and apple stores near the hotel.
