"The room was spacious enough, with a table and chairs which were very convenient for organizing my belongings and eating. I especially appreciated that there were no steps in the bathroom, which is quite rare for hotels in Japan, haha. If you're heading to the JR station on a rainy or snowy day, there's a subway entrance (exit 16) diagonally across the street from the hotel. It was a bit confusing the first time, but once you get the hang of it, it's very convenient. Just go to exit 18 and take the single-person escalator up, and you're almost there. On a clear day, the easiest and most direct way is to exit the JR North exit, turn right, go straight past the traffic light, and you'll see the hotel sign. There are two supermarkets nearby, which are good for picking up some food and drinks. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water, but there's a coffee and hot tea service on the second floor during two specific time slots, accessible by room card."

Amazing
XXiaohuifeiThe hotel is conveniently located just around the corner from JR Sapporo Station's Exit 15, which is a huge plus, especially on snowy days. The entire hotel feels very new, and the room size is quite decent for Japan. The front desk service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The highlight, however, is definitely the public bath; it's incredibly effective at relieving the day's fatigue. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserI meticulously chose this hotel after looking through many in Sapporo, and it offers excellent value for money. I selected a room on floors 15-17, and I was assigned one on the 17th, the highest floor. My corner room faces west, offering a panoramic view of the distant mountains and the lush greenery surrounding Hokkaido University. The other side faces south, where I could see the Ferris wheel 🎡 and the clock on the TV Tower 🗼. Every morning, waking up to the sight of green hills enveloped in white clouds, I felt so relaxed that I almost didn't want to leave the room. I could have visited the Hokkaido University Museum nearby, and even had a meal there, but I went on a holiday and couldn't get any food. Getting to JR Sapporo Station was very convenient, especially close to the North Exit. Even with my mobility issues, my local guide pulled me along from JR Station to the hotel, in the evening rain, with an umbrella and luggage. For someone with average stamina, it would be no problem at all. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it offered items I enjoyed, so I was very satisfied every morning. Their honey, labeled 'honeycomb,' was particularly interesting and delicious; I found it exceptionally sweet and fragrant, though I wonder if it was just my imagination. There were four magnetic signs on the door to indicate whether housekeeping 🧹 was needed. I chose not to have my room cleaned as I don't like others touching my bed. Each morning, I'd just place the trash outside the door and ask for two bottles of water. Inside JR Sapporo Station, there are many places to eat and shop. I bought Sapporo Agricultural College cookies, which weren't too sweet, at the Hokkaido specialty store on the first floor. There were many other shops I didn't have time to browse. Don't miss the JR Observation Deck on the 38th floor! You can go during the day, at night, or at dusk to watch the sunset. It's very convenient and beautiful. A taxi to Shiroi Koibito Park cost around 3000 yen, which is a bit pricey. Other places like Odori Park and the Ferris wheel are much closer, costing just over a thousand yen. Some reviews mentioned that the north side is quieter than the south. I agree. Since I don't enjoy shopping, the north side was perfect for me. Perhaps because my room was at the end of the hallway, it was exceptionally quiet. The guests next door seemed very quiet too. Sometimes it was so quiet it felt almost desolate. Maybe the soundproofing of the windows is excellent.

AAnonymous UserI love the Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo; it's a peaceful oasis in a lively area, and everything about it was excellent. It's just a 15-minute walk to Tanukikoji shopping street, making the daily round trip a pleasant stroll. The breakfast spread was generous and offered a wide variety of choices. My son is young but quite tall for his age, and he sometimes worries about being questioned about his age; here, they thoughtfully provided children's meal cards. Our suite was incredibly spacious, and having two separate bathrooms was incredibly convenient. The overall decor was also lovely. We consistently opt for eco-friendly practices by not requesting frequent linen changes at hotels worldwide, and here, they even offered afternoon tea and snacks as an extra incentive for doing so.

MmcspikyOur family had an excellent stay at Bespoke Hotel Sapporo! The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with any request — truly one of the highlights of our trip. The room isn’t very large, but it was still comfortable and adequate for a family of four. We managed perfectly fine, and the heater/air-conditioning system was fantastic. It was very easy to adjust the room temperature to exactly how we wanted it. A couple of small areas for improvement: The laundry room only has three machines, so sometimes guests leave their clothes inside for too long, which can be inconvenient. Parking is very limited — only eight slots, and availability depends on your car’s size. We were only able to park after switching to a smaller rental car. Thankfully, the hotel provides access to affiliated parking lots nearby at discounted rates. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Bespoke Hotel Sapporo. It was a great experience for the whole family!

EeasondingHad a lovely stay at this hotel in Sapporo. The room was a decent size and came with a couple of thoughtful touches that made the stay more comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the view—our room overlooked a beautiful park, and since it was sakura season, we were lucky enough to enjoy the cherry blossoms right from our window. It was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The TV offered a surprisingly wide variety of channels, which was great for unwinding in the evening. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently close to Nakajimakoen Station, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and seasonal beauty.

1117308****The hotel location is excellent, about 400-500 meters from Sapporo Station. You can walk there entirely through the Odori underground passage, and it's right at Exit 9. It's also about a ten-minute walk to the TV Tower and Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The Japanese breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, ensuring you start your day energized! The twin room is around 18 square meters, which is quite spacious for Japan! You can easily take the JR train for day trips to Otaru and Asahikawa.

BBeautiful day to travelI had a wonderful stay at Granbell Sapporo Hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the sheets and towels were always very clean and fresh. It really made each night’s rest feel so good, especially after a full day of exploring Sapporo. The hotel itself feels new, modern, and very well maintained. Combined with its convenient location near Sapporo Station, shops, food options, and attractions, it’s an easy choice for travellers. I genuinely enjoyed my stay, and I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit Sapporo.

EElisia LohThe hotel provides a shuttle bus pick-up from Sapporo Station (Bus Terminal), but reservations can only be made by phone call. Email requests are not accepted. We arrived on a Sunday, and the bus was already fully packed when leaving Sapporo Station, so it is best to book early. The hotel itself is a little old, though the public area toilets appear to have been recently renovated. The public onsen pools are large and relaxing, but the stone tile flooring can be slippery from long use, so be careful when walking in the bath area. The buffet has a good spread of dishes. I especially enjoyed the dinner scallop miso soup, handmade sushi, and desserts. The restaurant was lively and fully packed with both local Japanese families and overseas tourists. One minor downside was the seasonal fruit such as lychee. It would be better if the hotel ensured the fruits were properly washed before serving. Wi-Fi connection in the hotel is strong and stable unlike the big spa hotel in lake Toya which I just stayed a few days ago.
