Considering the expectations that I have for the Ibis brand (an entry/economy level hotel), my experience was great. The check-in process in the front desk was a differential. I was tired and had a few bags, but the person of the staff that received me was really quick and smart. I didn’t write her name down, but she really deserves the compliment! That day, one of the two elevators wasn’t working, but overall infrastructure of the hotel is good and the space of the room that I had was nice. I would return to this hotel, for sure.

It is not a hotel, it is practically a hostel, the room I touched had no air conditioning, only a roof fan and a key that acted something like a extractor, a muuuuy hot room, The bathroom has no bathroom so after bathroom**** if or if you have to pass a dryer and take the water to the dishwasher, the bathroom had a constant water loss so the floor was wet all the time. First I'd like to say that the young man who assisted me when I arrived late at night at Up Tribeca was entirely professional and courteous with me, even though I checked out almost immediately after checking in. So: I initially booked three nights at Up Tribeca because the reviews for the hotel were all positive; however, the hotel ”ambience” is entirely artificial and - to put bluntly - weird. All the rooms are centered around an open-air courtyard (btw, that courtyard is the only fresh air in the hotel), and because I checked-in late at night, I had a very hard time trying to find my room number while walking the hallway along the courtyard, as it was lit by a few neon lights that (I guess) gave off a cool vibe, but no actual light. Because it was so dark, I mistook the wrong room for mine and kept trying to open the door with my card, until I noticed (again, hard to see with no light!) the ”do not disturb” sign on the door handle (sorry to whomever might have woken up to me trying to open their door.) I then continued down the dark hallway to my correct room, and when I opened the door, I was greeted to a completely windowless box of a room that reeked of synthetic air-freshener, making it smell like I just walked into a Zara Home Furnishing store. The smell was suffocating, and of course there was no way to open a window to get rid of it because no window existed. If you've ever watched the Apple Tv show ”Severance,” then you'll get the kind of atmosphere this room had: it felt completely claustrophobic and dystopic. I didn't spend more than thirty seconds in that room before I grabbed my suitcase and went down to the front desk, requesting a different room that had a window, only to be informed none of the rooms have windows. At that point, I asked him to call me a taxi, and I left for another hotel. To sum up: if you don't care that you're staying in a windowless box that smells like a home furnishing store in the local mall, you'll be fine at Up Tribeca. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere.

The location is very good. There is a hot pot restaurant next to it. It is located in the city center. It is very convenient to take a taxi there. However, because it was built around 1933, there is a bit of smell in the room.

I stayed in Atlas Tower Hotel Buenos Aires as part of a tour package. It is very centrally located along Avenue Correintes, where you also find the historic Obelisk down the same road. This area is busy and full of restaurants and shops which are open until late night. Right beside is a Burger King if you need fast food. It is safe to walk even at night. The staff are very helpful. I requested to check in earlier than 2pm as I have a tour at 2:30pm the same day and it was granted. Hotel staff also assisted me in booking on the spot a dinner tango show that provided free pick up and return transfers to the venue. My room is basic but clean and has a window that can be opened. The water pressure in the bathroom is very good. Breakfast is likewise good and filling. If you are looking for a budget 3-star hotel in downtown Buenos Aires, Atlas Tower Hotel is a good place to stay!

Great little hotel. Ok the cons. Two blocks too much into an area that might not feel right with travelers that are not use to big cities like NYC. While the room was clean and well appointed the shower could use a little love. And lastly no coffee in the room. The pros. Great staff. Water bottles and drinks in the room. Room is big and comfortable. The price is right and the location close enough to key areas. Breakfast was good just what you need nothing fancy. I would def stay here again. I would recommend to people as well.
