Prince of Burford

We popped in hoping we could get Sunday lunch and was greeted by a lovely lady with long curly hair who made room for us in the restaurant. She was super friendly and an absolutely delight. I have an allergy so have to be a little careful when ordering but she made sure I was going to be ok. Double checking ingredients etc for me. She had such a lovely personality she made our experience a very good one and we will definitely be coming back when we are in the area again!! The food was delicious too!! All staff at the restaurant were lovely and it was just a positive experience well done guys you’ve nailed the customer experience 100% !!!
Priory Tearooms Burford with Rooms

This was the first cafe I came to, walking from the free car park, and as I have been there before, went straight in, expecting something straightforward and quick, on a journey. I chose a jacket potato with cheese and butter, and was looking forward to a harmless potato, with a bit of grated cheese, a small salad garnish, and a little Pat of wrapped butter on the side. Unfortunately, this was not what I received at all. Three half potatoes had been sunk under a half inch layer of melted cheese, all dripping in melted better. 2000 calories incarnate! I scraped off most of the cheese and ate the inside of the potatoes. It wasn’t at all what I had wanted. The coffee was lovely, and the toilets very clean and well cared for. I wouldn’t have believed that a jacket potato with cheese could be like that. It is a nice cafe, and was busy. Next time I am passing through Burford, I will have my lunch at the garden centre again, as you can see what your meal will be like.

The environment is very elegant and quiet. Typical British style. fully equipped. Close to the main street in the center. The food is delicious. I was very satisfied with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very recommended!
