I stayed at the hotel vdb next for one night. I chose the most modern structure because I don't like dates rooms but I must admit that the “new” part is just a little more than comfortable. Small, bad, dark and, in my opinion, unclean rooms; completely different from what they are reported on their website. The warm air was not going, and in the heart of the night it was so cold that the receptionist had to change my room. I welcome the kindness of the staff, but I do not recommend it for the rest.

Catania left us a crazy memory. The owner of the bed and breakfast ran away and the keys were not handed over to us. That night was the beach carnival in Catania. The hotel is very difficult to decide. No place to stay but fortunately booked one night here. Nice hotel, helpful service and good hot water. Recommended to live. There are few parking spaces at the entrance and there are parking spaces on the street. But watch out for the ZTL zone

We were very welcome, we arrived well before check-in, but we could leave our baggage that were then raised in our room. The receptionist, very kind and friendly, gave us a Catane plan and gave us good advice to walk and for the restaurants. The hotel has a design decoration and the majesty of the old palace. We have been very well sleeping because the street is relatively quiet and there is a very good double glass. Breakfast is very expensive, served as a buffet in a pleasant room. We enjoyed having fresh fruits, among other things. At our departure we could leave our luggage at the hotel to walk quietly in Catane, with our plane being in the evening. The location is average, but very new, the room is large, if you need two rooms, it is strongly recommended to set up a family room of 85 square meters, super large, the practical area of 85 square meters, there are eight balconies, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one large living room. Wifi is only available around the reception. Location is good. I won’t recommend the hotel due to the one rude staff who blamed me for putting a key on the wrong door(there were two doors before the reception). At that time I was super tired after walking all day but he ordered me to wait until he finished talking on the phone with angry face. He called me off that I almost damaged the door by clicking the key too much and the other customers could haven’t use it then I have to pay for the damage. He even mentioned the price for it. Then I had to show him that I can use the keys in the right place and turn them properly. The worst customer service I’ve ever had and my trip was damaged..

The hotel's own car park is a little expensive, depending on the model, up to 18 euros a day. However, there are a large number of public toll parking spaces on both sides of the road outside the hotel. No money for lunch breaks, up to 4.5 Euros a day, which is very cost-effective. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and our room had a small terrace facing the sea, and it was very comfortable to sleep at night while listening to the sea. The breakfast was very good, and there were some local Sicilian dessert snacks, which was especially satisfying. The hotel is about 20 minutes drive from the centre of Catania. Fortunately we didn't live in the city centre, but lived in a slightly remote but offshore hotel. (There is a road between the hotel and the sea, and friends who are particularly sensitive to noise can hear the sound of the car during the day). In addition, the swimming pool is open according to the weather conditions. When we go, it is raining and the pool is closed.

The staff of the Palazzo San Giorgio is very available and competent, provided me all the information I requested during my stay (roads, restaurants, museums, etc.). I stayed a night in a beautiful and elegant junior suite, light and extremely clean. I found the furnishings of the entire modern and well-treated structure in the minimum details. What I liked most was breakfast....a very wide buffet and so much choice also on paper. Although it's very beautiful the spa is not very big and this makes it a comfortable environment. Super recommended!!

Great customer service, actually most perfect one we’ve got so far in Italy during our trip. Appartments are clean, renovated with a good taste and make you feel like home and not in a hotel. Location is central and is within walking distance to all recommended restaurants and attractions. We were driving and despite rumors it was pretty easy to find street parking even during peak times. Definitely recommend this place to stay during your stay in Catania.
