The room is clean and tidy, and the front desk staff has a good attitude toward guests. They greet guests warmly as soon as they enter the door. The first impression is very good. It is considered a top-ranked hotel in Qingbaijiang, and I was not disappointed. The room is designed to separate wet and dry areas, which is very comfortable to live in. Even the bath towels are individually packaged and sterilized. It is super safe to stay in Germany. I will stay here every time I come here, haha

The hotel has a good location and the breakfast is relatively rich. There are also many delicious restaurants around. It is recommended to eat in the surrounding area at noon and night. We stayed 4 nights. The experiences were fantastic for us. Location is superb as the hotel is in between Tianfu and Chunxi metro stations within walking distance roughly 10 mins (we traveled with a 3 years old kid). Hotel services are really good. We were allowed to checkout late at 16:00 with no additional charge, still to note that we traveled during December which is low travel period. Our room is clean everyday which is appreciated. Price is relatively affordable. We decided not to buy breakfast coupon due to the surrounding area has a lot of food options, which is of course cheaper. The hotel staffs were extremely helpful. However, be aware that they do not speak English. So having a translator app with you is a must (as always). Another consideration (but for us is ok). Most hotels in China allow smoking. So do not surprise if you smell cigarette in the hotel or even in your room. We asked for a non smoking room and got a room without any cigarette smell though so that is good. In general, if I am in Chengdu again, I know this is a good hotel that I can stay again.

Overall a very nice hotel. Reception staff is friendly and helpful with everything. Breakfast is also very good , much options to choose from. We only had the afternoon noodles one time but it was yummy. The Japanese hot spring-like experience is located at the very top, not much to say, it's a hot bath but it felt nice after a long day of walking. Location is not super good but a nice walking distance for transportation. Room was just as described on trip. Only downside was the shower , the wall started coming off when used the other shower head, did not get a heads up so it kind of fell on me. Other than this everything was nice!!

After comparing the reviews with my friends,we chose this hotel. When we arrived at the lobby, it was bright and spacious. We were greeted by a staff member as soon as we entered. Every staff member was smiling and enthusiastic. The overall experience was very good. There was also a butler who added WeChat when we checked in. He would care about and greet us every day. If we needed anything, we could contact him at any time. It was very convenient. In addition, we were given welcome fruit. Next time we come to Chengdu, we will choose to stay here again.

I had an outstanding experience at Dorsett. I arrived in Chengdu super early in the morning from overseas. While checking in, I asked if it was possible to let me check in a little earlier than normal and the reception staff (English name ”Sunshine”) was graciously accommodating. However, while waiting in the lobby until my promised check-in time arrived, the front desk manager (English name ”Cinderella”) arrived at around 8:00 to start her shift. She saw me sitting in the lobby looking tired and immediately checked with her coworkers on my situation. Then she approached me, said that she found out about my situation from her staff and immediately checked me in, much before the official time. In addition, she upgraded me to a better room. It was quite a pleasant surprise. After a long international flight, I was able to relax in a very comfortable bed. I hope that employees like Cinderella are proactively appreciated by the management for their hard work and excellent service attitude and given more senior positions. She certainly deserves it. And I wish this level of service becomes a common occurrence everywhere. P.S: After I left the room to meet a friend, I came back to find fruits, plates and complementary Evian water laid out on the table for me Another pleasant surprise. The room heating may need an upgrade. Hope that is made stronger in the future. Definitely staying here again next time!
