Overall hotel is decent but slightly rundown. Close to the theme park. Entry ticket is expensive and only allow access to go into half of the park (and blocked before the bridge. Must buy full rides ticket for everyone in order to see more of the light display which seems to be a rip off with people traveling with young kids and elderly whom will not ride.

When I went to Nagoya, I looked for a good inn that was parked reasonablely on the net and booked it on the day. It faces Mikawa Bay and you can enjoy all room sea view. This hotel is located in Mitani Onsen hot spring, so you can enjoy sea view and rising Asahi from a large bath with an open-air bath. I don't know how to eat, but I think it is a fairly reasonable accommodation fee as a hot spring hotel if it is a night stay.

Needless to say, the Japanese service is super good, although the English is not very good, the hotel is far from the train station, but you can take a bus to Yoshida Ryoda. This hotel provides all the basics you need. It’s close to Toyohashi station, it’s clean, and it seems well run with friendly-enough staff (difficult for me to judge as I was only there for one night). Of course, it’s not a luxury hotel so most things are simple, the breakfast has limited choice, and the rooms are a tad small, but overall I had no big complaints and it suited me fine. The one annoying thing was that they make you choose a 25-minute window in which to eat breakfast. They make you do this the day before. I guess it’s because space in their breakfast area is an issue, but it’s annoying because it doesn’t grant you any flexibility. If you want to sleep in, or go out early, it’s difficult because you have your specific breakfast window. Aside from that small grumble, I’d recommend this hotel to those who just want to be in the right location in Toyohashi, and are not after a 5-star experience. It’s probably not for families either.

You can arrive at Mikawa Anjo Station (JR conventional line, Shinkansen) in about 3 minutes walk. The room was double, but both the room and the bathroom are very clean. Breakfast and dinner are also free of charge at the dining room on the first floor. Also, it is limited time, but there is a large bath and you can heal the fatigue of the trip. Please be careful because the towel is brought from the room. I think it is more than the price if there is this service at this price. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
