"Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether."

"After booking, they called me before my trip to ask about any room preferences, which was great service. I arrived past midnight, and they even provided a welcome fruit platter. "This room configuration is perfect for families. It comes with three beds, comfortably accommodating up to four guests, and with bathrooms on both levels, it never feels cramped. The room features a large window, making it wonderfully pleasant to lie in bed and enjoy the view on a nice day. What's more, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – it's right at the subway entrance and surrounded by shopping malls. The breakfast was also very good."

"The room was very clean and a good size. The curtains provided excellent blackout, and the bathroom was comfortable to use. I was very satisfied, and the pillows were great too. I'll definitely choose Atour Hotel again in the future. The staff and front desk were all incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting me. Being able to work out, do laundry, and dry clothes on the 20th floor was a fantastic bonus and made for a superb stay."

The cleaning staff were also very considerate, taking guests' feelings into account. Facilities: The disposable amenities provided were very comprehensive, and they even offered disposable alcohol wipes for the toilet seat, which was a thoughtful touch. Environment: The hotel environment is very good, though it is a bit noisy, but I suppose most hotels have some soundproofing issues, so it's not a major problem. However, I requested a quiet room, and they certainly met that need, which was great! Service: The front desk ladies were all very kind and enthusiastic, and they tried their best to fulfill any requests. "This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I originally booked it for the pool, and considering its age, my expectations weren't very high. But to my surprise, from the moment we got out of the car, the concierge staff proactively opened doors and handled our luggage every single time, without fail. In stark contrast, when we later moved to the Four Seasons, we had to carry our own bags inside before anyone offered assistance! While the rooms are a bit dated, it's clear the housekeeping team does a very thorough job. Even my mother, who is a neat freak, found it satisfactory. In contrast, at the Four Seasons, she immediately spotted dust on the glass and high up in the wardrobe! The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting anywhere. The complimentary fish jerky and candies were delicious! There's also a morning market just a hundred meters walk away. We had a minor issue on our second day, but the Guest Services Manager resolved it very professionally. If I have the chance to visit Dalian again, I will definitely choose the New World! Expensive doesn't always mean best, but we all unanimously agreed that the New World offers the best value for money."

The hotel's children's play facilities are incredibly rich, and my little one had a blast, burning off energy all day, which was super convenient! Adults can also relax well. The heated pool's water quality is excellent, and the hot tub is comfortable and relieving. We enjoyed both swimming and soaking, feeling incredibly happy 💦 Special mention for the heartwarming service! From the moment I stepped out of the car and saw the Bavarian-style castle perched by Xinghai Bay, I knew this trip would be unforgettable. It absolutely deserves a full five-star rating! The location is simply a gift from heaven, nestled on the Lotus Mountain range, overlooking the entire Xinghai Bay. Xinghai Square, Asia's largest, is right outside, and you can walk to the start of Binhai Road. A stroll down the hill leads to Sun Asia Ocean World, making transportation incredibly convenient. The absolute highlight is the panoramic view; from the room, the sky garden, and even the restaurant, you can see the azure sea and the cross-sea bridge. During the day, it's a clear blue sky and ocean; at night, the bridge twinkles with lights. Every photo you take is guaranteed to go viral on social media. There are also adorable deer at the hotel entrance, and feeding them is super therapeutic – you don't even need to travel far to find an Instagrammable spot. The castle guest room experience was exceptional! I decisively chose the deluxe sea-view room. The European palace-style decor is exquisite and elegant, with crystal chandeliers and vintage patterns exuding sophistication. The space is generous and airy. This trip was to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a special cake and fruit, which was a wonderful touch. We were extremely satisfied.

GGuest UserHuazhu Club’s first choice is Ibis! I haven't stayed in many express hotels nearby, but the environment and service are better than those nearby! Especially the staff at the front desk are very patient and enthusiastic. When I was using the computer downstairs at night, I found that some drunk guests were very rude. The young staff member Xiaogui Ning was very patient in explaining and guiding me! This is not easy! If you live near here, I highly recommend it! The TV can also project the screen, and I watched the S14 finals here!

Firstly, as someone who worked in chain hotels for six years, I'm very particular about cleanliness. This trip, traveling with my child, I opted against a chain hotel (which I usually choose), fearing poor hygiene. But this place was surprisingly good! The views are fantastic, and my child was very comfortable. All the towels are disposable, and the quality is excellent, so there's no need to bring your own. Parking is also super convenient, and getting around with Didi (ride-sharing) was a breeze. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Dalian. I forgot to take photos though, so I can only use screenshots from a video.
