We stayed in a villa where they will fill your personal hot spring whenever needed. The public hot spring area also has huge indoor heated pools and a wonderful kids area. My children had a blast! Cleanliness and service was impecable all around. Shout out to Derek and Brain who spoke English and were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. As expected, the area around the hotel is quite dead in the winter like the amusement park and beach. Most attractions and things to do in Dalian are about 45 minutes away, so we will probably come back March- September instead.

The exterior of the building may look a little old but the room are pretty modern and clean. Gym well maintained, breakfast selections are decent. Good location and accessible by metro. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel.
