Guest UserMy overall stay was absolutely perfect! The facilities, ambiance, and amenities were all excellent, but what truly impressed me was the consistently attentive and thoughtful service. I have to give a special shout-out to a few staff members!
Adale and Kayla reached out to me in advance to confirm my check-in preferences. They were incredibly patient, communicative, and considerate throughout the entire process. The room they arranged had a fantastic view and ample space, which I was very pleased with. They even prepared a lovely welcome dessert – all these thoughtful details made me feel so warm and welcomed the moment I stepped in. Their professionalism and genuine commitment to service were truly outstanding.
The breakfast quality was superb, with a wide variety of fresh options. I especially want to thank a wonderful server at the breakfast restaurant, near the entrance. Her smile was so bright and genuine, and she proactively and attentively looked after me throughout my meal. When I was leaving the restaurant, she even walked me to the elevator. Her gentle and considerate demeanor, along with her heartfelt enthusiasm, was incredibly refreshing and helped alleviate my travel fatigue.
The room itself was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing – the quality was top-notch. From the initial communication and check-in to dining and check-out, the entire experience was outstanding. The staff’s service felt genuine and never forced.
I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Dalian. A sincere thank you to Adale, Kayla, and the kind lady at breakfast!

Guest UserThis is our second time here. The sea-view room offers a stunning vista. We booked for six consecutive nights this time, and since it was off-peak season, the price was almost half of what it would be in July or August. The beach is right outside, making it super convenient for kids to dig in the sand and explore for marine life. It's June now, and the water is still a bit chilly, so younger kids might not be able to swim. However, the sun is quite strong; my skin got sunburned after just a few days of playing. After that, I made sure to wear long sleeves, long pants, and plenty of sunscreen. If your child rolls around in the sand, make sure to wash their hair thoroughly when you get back to the hotel. My child didn't cooperate with washing, and later that night, I felt sand all over under him! 🤣

Traveling during off-peak season, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient for kids to go crabbing. The service is also excellent; it's so much better than the unhelpful one next door! A big thank you to 'Eason' (Chen Yixun) who brought us plenty of water when he saw we had a large group – it felt great to have all our requests met. There was also a very handsome manager who gave the kids fun toys. Overall, it provided a wonderful vacation experience. The hamburger and fish and chips were also great and very popular with the children.
On the first floor, there's even a DJI drone available for a test flight, which the kids loved.
The only downside is that because it's so close to the sea, the bedding can be a bit damp. If you're traveling with small children, you might want to bring your own sheets.

Anonymous UserI booked two rooms and they were able to arrange for them to be together. The service was excellent and professional, and all the staff I encountered were very friendly. Breakfast until 10 AM gets very crowded, so waiting for a table is common. For all three days, we were seated at the lobby coffee tables. On the first day, due to the sheer number of guests, breakfast was even extended until 10:30 AM. Food was actively replenished, and there was a good variety. They also kindly provided takeaway boxes, which was a nice touch. The swimming pool is open until 11 PM and has lifeguards. The depth ranges from 1.3 to 1.5 meters, with separate lanes for swimming and a play area, so they don't interfere with each other. I also saw staff monitoring the water quality. There are many restaurants nearby; Sun Moon Rise (日月昇) is just a 7-8 minute walk away. Getting a taxi to various attractions is also quite convenient, but if you're heading to Dalian Station, it's best to allow extra time for a taxi as it's so close that drivers often cancel orders. On departure, there was a small surprise for the children. The kids' play area has strong air conditioning and closes at 6 PM. There's an apartment building behind the hotel that shares facilities, which could also be an option.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and sightseeing. Major attractions and popular local eateries are all within easy reach. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the entire staff – from the concierge to the front desk and housekeepers, everyone was warm, welcoming, and promptly attended to any requests. The hotel pool is a definite highlight; the water is clean, and the facilities are well-maintained. The kids absolutely loved it, and it was a perfect spot to spend some leisure time splashing around. While the room's hardware felt a bit dated, the thoughtful and attentive service more than made up for any shortcomings. This is a great choice if you're traveling with children, and overall, it was a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

The room was fantastic and spacious, with a great view from the high floor. The hotel service was exceptional, and the breakfast was one of the most plentiful I've ever had at a hotel. The intern was very friendly and provided excellent service. My family was also very satisfied. We'll definitely stay at Crowne Plaza Xinghai again on our next trip.

MishidefengshengzhuI stayed here in 2023 when it was still a Kempinski. The spa and bakery left a deep impression on me. Since 2026, it has rebranded to Pullman by Accor, without closing for renovations, so the facilities remain unchanged. This time in Dalian, I revisited the hotel.
Having been open for over twenty years, the facilities are indeed quite old. The room has a lot of heavy wooden furnishings, which must have been a significant investment back then. Many of them are no longer very smooth to use, such as the wardrobe sliding doors and bathroom drawers. They are difficult to move, and any attempt to do so would require major renovation. This also applies to issues like only having a charging port on one side of the bed, which many guests complain about. Personally, I quite like this old-fashioned, substantial hotel decor style; it lacks the cheap feel of some newer high-end hotels. Old is fine, as long as it doesn't affect normal use.
The faucet is a Danish brand, possibly a concept product more focused on styling. It has a strange push-button operation. Some are smooth, others are very stiff and difficult to use, making it hard to control water flow and potentially scratching hands.
The bed and sofa are very comfortable. It took me a while to find the light switches in the room, only to realize they were on the central control panel – a small, inconspicuous box by the bedside.
The service is still good. It's peak season now, but I was still able to check in at the regulated time. This time, I bought a package through Trip.com, which included breakfast for two and dinner at Paulaner. It was a great value. The front desk even upgraded me to a better room type in a separate building, the VIP building, which has less than ten rooms per floor.
Regarding the food: The breakfast variety is decent. The menu listed omelets, so I asked the chef to make one, and it tasted good. For milk, there was hot whole milk and cold skim milk; cold whole milk would have been a nice addition. The bakery, no longer part of Kempinski, has changed its products. My favorite chocolate croissants are gone. I bought some sliced cakes, and they tasted good. Paulaner has an excellent environment with a great atmosphere and live performances. The service is also very attentive, and guests get a 25% discount. However, pizzas take a long time to prepare; I waited over an hour for mine.
The spa and pool are still the same as before, with an exotic flair. Several hot tubs and my favorite steam bath were all open and functioning. The pool is deeper than usual, at 1.5-1.8m, and it wasn't crowded, making it very peaceful.
My main suggestions are all regarding the facilities:
1. The wooden furnishings that are not smooth to use should be repaired.
2. Add a charging port to the other side of the bed.
3. Replace the strange faucets.
4. The two panels of the curtains should not be on a single track; they need to overlap to prevent a gap, otherwise, how can light be blocked effectively?

Xiaomianbao999You can always rely on established hotel chains. We originally booked another hotel for our first night, but it was so bad that we switched to this one.
**Amenities**: Although the decor is several years old, the facilities are still excellent and don't feel dated at all.
**Hygiene**: The cleanliness in both the room and the lobby was impeccable.
**Environment**: It's right next to Zhongshan Square, so the location is superb. Plus, there's a robot delivery service for food orders!
**Service**: The service attitude, from the concierge to the front desk, was fantastic. They even upgraded our room. We'll definitely stay here again next time.
Oh, and the breakfast was delicious!!

Guest UserThis hotel is really great! Most guests here bring their pets. The breakfast selection is decent, not spectacular but not bad. The rooms are spacious, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, plus a morning market where I bought a lot of fruit before leaving.
Buffet breakfast: Good
Minibar: Free

ChanelXoI booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I for the National Day holiday. I know he likes being surrounded by nature since we live in the city. I also thought we would try playing golf (we didn't). We had a great time and even when we left the hotel for another hotel, my boyfriend wanted to go back.
Pros
1. The bedroom was huge!
2. The scenery is breathtaking.
3. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
4. The food was delicious.
Cons
1. The bedroom wasn't super clean. We found rat pellets by the window (at least that's what my boyfriend says. I think it could be lizards)
2. There are lots of activities that seem to be inactive due to renovations (possibly due to the covid era) but it seems they are working on restorations.
All in all. I would definitely go back and when this hotel is in it's prime, it will be even more amazing!
