"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The owner is wonderful and truly went out of her way to help me during my stay.
The room was big and clean. AC was nice and strong ❄️ Decor was cozy and well thought out even including sunscreen, mosquito spray, perfumes etc.
The location is within easy walking distance of tourist attractions and easy to reach from the train station. There’s a convenience store and nice restaurants within 5 minutes walking.
I would absolutely stay here again."
"This hotel boasts a prime location right in the heart of Pingjiang Road, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Numerous attractions like Humble Administrator's Garden, Guanqian Street, and Shuangta Market are all nearby, and public transport is easily accessible, making it an ideal base for exploring Suzhou.
The hotel itself features an elegant Suzhou garden-style design, with beautiful interiors, pavilions, terraces, and flowing water, all exuding a rich Jiangnan charm. The serene atmosphere within the hotel beautifully contrasts with the lively streets outside, providing guests with a comfortable living environment and an excellent opportunity to experience the slow-paced Suzhou lifestyle. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff are warm, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel right at home."
"The room was spotless, and the bathroom had no strange odors. The local restaurant recommended by the front desk was incredibly authentic. Xiao Zhang at the front desk was very enthusiastic; they even turned on the A/C in my room in advance and left a warm glass of milk, which was a really thoughtful touch."
"This was my first time in Suzhou, and after a lot of deliberation, I chose Xiangzhiwu. All I can say after staying there is that it was absolutely worth it! The hotel is tucked away in an old alley in Gusu District. The entrance isn't flashy, but it's easy to find – just a few minutes walk following navigation. It's only an 8-minute walk from the subway station, so getting there with luggage was a breeze. It's also super convenient to get to popular attractions like Pingjiang Road and Humble Administrator's Garden, either by walking or taking a taxi, which means no wasted time commuting or changing transport.
The room wasn't huge, but it was spotless and well-organized. The floors were sparkling clean, the cotton bedding was soft and fresh with no strange odors, and the mattress was just right – not too hard, not too soft. After a long day of exploring gardens, lying down on that bed instantly relieved all the fatigue. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the hot water came quickly and was consistent, and all the disposable toiletries and non-slip mats were provided. The attention to detail really put me at ease.
But what I want to highlight most is the service from Tingting and Gloria at the front desk. Knowing it was my first time in Suzhou, they didn't push any of those overhyped internet-famous spots. Instead, they thoughtfully told me which gardens were less crowded in the morning and even pointed out an authentic and affordable Suzhou-style noodle shop at the alley entrance that's been there for over a decade. There was no upselling at all, just genuinely helpful advice. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou."

"Willows are green and reflect the blue waves. Soft silk dances in the spring.
The most affectionate place is Yuejuli, which holds many dreams of tourists.
The town after the rain is like a dream and a painting. The stone road under your feet is a thousand years old at a glance...
Yueju Inn is where the dream begins. The wooden door opens lightly, and you get a quiet world. The smile is warm like the spring breeze. A cup of tea, a lamp, and a warm time.
If you go to Suzhou, you must come to Tongli. If you go to Tongli, you must be in Yueju"
