"I was very surprised by the hotel. It's located 3-5 minutes away from all the crowds, so it's very quiet. There's a grocery store nearby and supermarkets are a 7-10-minute walk away. The hotel itself is very clean, the rooms are spacious, almost Japanese-style, and have everything you need! And the powerful hair dryer was a real plus; other hotels we've stayed in had weak ones. I definitely recommend it!"

"I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it looks exactly like the product photos. We had a very comfortable May Day holiday. The hotel's location is great, not far from Kyoto Station, but without the noise of being right next to the station. The decor and facilities are very new. It offers excellent value for money. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. There's a Chinese-speaking gentleman at the front desk who provided excellent service and explained everything thoroughly. The breakfast was rich and varied, but there was a queue, so it's best to allow extra time for waiting."

"I had a wonderful stay at Tanimachikun HOTEL Kyoto Station Higashi 29! The location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby facilities, making travel around Kyoto very easy. A special thank you to Yusaku and Kai for their kind and enthusiastic help ❤️ They patiently assisted us with the luggage delivery process and helped us fill out all the necessary forms smoothly. Their service was incredibly thoughtful and truly appreciated! One very important thing for me was how exceptionally clean the room was ✨ As someone who is sensitive to dust, I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels, but I was able to sleep comfortably and peacefully here. That alone made the stay perfect for me. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto!"

"● The interior space of the room is very large. It is very suitable for the two of us to stay. There are sofas and tables for eating and watching TV. There is also room for walking when the 29-inch suitcase is spread out. ● Check-in and Check-out are all self-service and very convenient to operate. The room does not provide mineral water and pajamas. There is a water dispenser on the first floor to prepare bottles. ● The room was not cleaned during the stay. If you live for more days, the trash can should not be stuffed enough. ● The location of the hotel is a five-minute walk from the tram station. Nearby 7-11, Lawson, the whole family have it, there are also large supermarkets, pharmacies, Matsumoto Qing, Dachuang, and other attractions can also take the tram or bus smoothly. The location is great. ● Compared with the room, the bathroom space is small, and only one person can stand at a time, but it is quite clean and the water pressure is very high and it is hot quickly."

"This hotel is just a short walk from Karasuma Oike subway station, and about a 10-15 minute walk (roughly one kilometer) to Shijo Kawaramachi for shopping. Yet, the hotel itself is located on a quiet side street off a main road, offering a peaceful environment amidst the bustle. The soundproofing is excellent, making it perfect for light sleepers who need quiet. While the rooms are small, like many in Japan, the layout is well-designed; you can easily open two large suitcases. There's a 7-Eleven and a 24-hour Fresco supermarket just steps from the hotel, which is a huge plus. The front desk service was fantastic and super friendly, and communication in English was incredibly smooth. I needed to change a restaurant reservation, but the restaurant only spoke Japanese, making it difficult to communicate. The front desk staff were very patient and efficiently helped me sort it out—much appreciated!. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea, along with a co-working area. Overall, it's great value for money and a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!"

"Simple room, shared bathrooms and showers. Cleanliness could be improved; the bathrooms weren't cleaned daily, and the room wasn't cleaned once in 5 nights, nor was the bin emptied. Towels cost extra... I've never encountered that in other hostels I've stayed at. Unfortunately, there's no washing machine available, but the reception recommended some nearby laundromats. There's a well-equipped communal kitchen with all the necessary utensils. Convenient location near the metro and some points of interest."

"A very good hotel, quite well located and quiet. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The only downside was the fluctuating internet connection during our stay. The welcome was warm with thoughtful touches for the guest. I highly recommend this hotel if you're coming to Kyoto!"

"Advantages: The room was clean and spacious, the hotel is beautiful. Great view from the window! The room had a washing machine, refrigerator, kettle, microwave, and humidifier — everything worked well. Disadvantages: Over the two-day stay, I was only provided with two small bottles of water— each bottle was about 300 ml. You have to go down to the lobby to get tea bags yourself. Coffee is only available from the coffee machine in the lobby, and the coffee itself is tasteless—I tried espresso and latte. I didn't like the taste. I didn't really like the hotel's location - it was right in the middle of the crowds. Conclusion: the hotel fee was exaggerated and there were not enough services for this."
