"The overall cleanliness and room condition of the hotel were good and generally satisfactory.
However, I would like to point out a serious issue with the bathroom floor. It was fine when using only water, but once shower gel or shampoo was used, the foam made the floor extremely slippery, creating a clear safety hazard.
I unfortunately slipped and fell during my stay, which was quite painful and left visible bruises and swelling on my arms and legs. This was very disappointing.
I hope the hotel can take this issue seriously and improve safety measures, such as adding anti-slip solutions, to prevent similar incidents in the future."

"I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it looks exactly like the product photos. We had a very comfortable May Day holiday. The hotel's location is great, not far from Kyoto Station, but without the noise of being right next to the station. The decor and facilities are very new. It offers excellent value for money. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. There's a Chinese-speaking gentleman at the front desk who provided excellent service and explained everything thoroughly. The breakfast was rich and varied, but there was a queue, so it's best to allow extra time for waiting."

"I had a wonderful stay at Tanimachikun HOTEL Kyoto Station Higashi 29!
The location is very convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby facilities, making travel around Kyoto very easy.
A special thank you to Yusaku and Kai for their kind and enthusiastic help ❤️
They patiently assisted us with the luggage delivery process and helped us fill out all the necessary forms smoothly. Their service was incredibly thoughtful and truly appreciated!
One very important thing for me was how exceptionally clean the room was ✨
As someone who is sensitive to dust, I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels, but I was able to sleep comfortably and peacefully here. That alone made the stay perfect for me.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto!"

"● The interior space of the room is very large. It is very suitable for the two of us to stay. There are sofas and tables for eating and watching TV. There is also room for walking when the 29-inch suitcase is spread out.
● Check-in and Check-out are all self-service and very convenient to operate. The room does not provide mineral water and pajamas. There is a water dispenser on the first floor to prepare bottles.
● The room was not cleaned during the stay. If you live for more days, the trash can should not be stuffed enough.
● The location of the hotel is a five-minute walk from the tram station. Nearby 7-11, Lawson, the whole family have it, there are also large supermarkets, pharmacies, Matsumoto Qing, Dachuang, and other attractions can also take the tram or bus smoothly. The location is great.
● Compared with the room, the bathroom space is small, and only one person can stand at a time, but it is quite clean and the water pressure is very high and it is hot quickly."

"The hotel is decent overall. The rooms are small, but that’s pretty normal for Japan. Unfortunately, the sound of insulation is poor, you literally can hear everything happening in the hallway and even the neighbors upstairs. The bathroom ventilation is also extremely loud, and since you can hear it through the wall from the room, it gets quite annoying at night. At the same time, the ventilation in the room itself is not very good, so it often feels stuffy.
The “city view” is basically just a questionable-looking building across the street. The drink vending machine was broken as well, although at least there was water available.
Honestly, this feels more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one.
On the positive side, there was a very pleasant Russian-speaking staff member at the front desk — Kirill!"

"Excellent hostel in the heart of Kyoto! I really loved the Japanese-style common area (open 24 hours). Overall, it was clean, but I did see a cockroach in the kitchen, which made me lower my cleanliness rating! It's a shame they don't provide slippers and towels."

"Loved the room K21. Short walk from the Gojo station, very nice and traditional room with tatami, we always bought our breakfast from the nearby store and enjoyed our breakfast in the room ( with a nice little table next to the window) before we headed out. In general we loved it!
Even tho we were sharing the bathroom but we barely saw anyone else, there were only 4 rooms in the house we stayed. Other guests were polite and kept quiet during the stay, grateful for that!"
Perfect base for group trips, where you can stay like a local. Washing machine and kitchen included.
"I had to wait two hours because I hadn't received check-in instructions. I had to call the special emergency number to get the information.
Clean and quiet establishment."

"Advantages:
The room was clean and spacious, the hotel is beautiful. Great view from the window! The room had a washing machine, refrigerator, kettle, microwave, and humidifier — everything worked well.
Disadvantages:
Over the two-day stay, I was only provided with two small bottles of water— each bottle was about 300 ml. You have to go down to the lobby to get tea bags yourself. Coffee is only available from the coffee machine in the lobby, and the coffee itself is tasteless—I tried espresso and latte. I didn't like the taste.
I didn't really like the hotel's location - it was right in the middle of the crowds.
Conclusion: the hotel fee was exaggerated and there were not enough services for this."
