The room was quite small, and it was hard to even open a suitcase. However, the location was excellent, just a 7-8 minute walk from the subway station. The breakfast was also decent.

The hotel is super close to Shijo-mae Station, just a 5-minute walk. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and another one a bit further under the elevated highway called Shin-Toyosu Station. From there, you can catch two bus routes: one goes all the way to Shimbashi, and the other takes you to Ginza, so transportation is really convenient. Compared to many other hotels, the rooms here are quite spacious. Plus, there's a convenience store on the first floor, though the prices are a little on the high side.

The location was convient and close to the airport. We took a tax since we arrived late at night, the expenses was acceptable. Then it was walking distance to the market and Ginza, as we are used to walk around a lot. The room was well designed and clean, fit two suitcases easily. The cleaning service was very nice. Convient store everywhere. I had to use laundry outside the hotel since all the four machines were occupied in the hotel. It was only a few minutes away. I also shopped at a local super market and got a super fancy bento box. Really enjoyed it. The coffee machine in the room was a bonus. After we checked out, it was one bus trip to the Tokyo station right in front of the hotel. Definitely recommend the hotel.

The facilities are great, especially the tatami mats, and the shower pressure was excellent. The only minor downside was the 10 AM checkout. Unfortunately, my family caught the flu and had a fever of over 40 degrees. Luckily, I brought medicine, but they still needed to rest. I had to pay for an additional 5 hours, at 1100 yen per hour, for an early check-in and late checkout. It was a lifesaver that they allowed us to pay for the extra time; otherwise, I don't know what we would have done. Tsukiji Market is right downstairs, but the subway is a bit of a walk, usually more than 8 minutes. Overall, it's great value for money.

I stayed here for one night without meals.
There are restaurants nearby, and even if you miss the scheduled time, there are some chain restaurants that are open 24 hours a day, so it's a good option.
The hotel has a nice atmosphere that feels like it's worth the price, and the overall feel is a bit dated.
I stayed here, and it may have just been the room, but the sewage smell in the bathroom was pretty strong.
It wasn't a problem when I was taking a bath, but the sewage smell was noticeable when I was using the toilet or washing my face, so I wouldn't recommend this hotel for people who are particular about cleanliness or who like their bathrooms clean... (There wasn't any mold or anything, just the awful sewage smell.)
Otherwise, the front desk responded quickly when I contacted them around 4pm, which was nice.
I recommend this hotel for people who have business in the area, don't want to stay long, don't want to stay in internet cafes, and want to keep costs as low as possible!

I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Gochome and had a wonderful experience.
• Location: The hotel is in the heart of Ginza, making it extremely convenient for shopping, dining, and access to the metro. Everything is within walking distance, which made exploring Tokyo very easy.
• Service: Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they assisted with luggage delivery efficiently.
• Comfort: The bed was comfortable, and despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet. Sleep quality was excellent.
• Value: Considering the location, cleanliness, and service, I found the hotel to be very good value for money.
Overall, I highly recommend Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Gochome for anyone visiting Tokyo. It combines convenience, comfort, and a touch of Japanese hospitality that makes the stay memorable

Reception staff very friendly & helpful, some staff speak good English otherwise translation apps were used. Rooms are relatively large by Tokyo standards with a huge bathroom including separate bath, shower worked very well. Bed very comfortable and pyjamas are excellent - we wanted to purchase but not available, the hotel could make more business there with exclusive Keihan pyjamas! Good range of options for breakfast, we did eat dinner once in the hotel and it was fine but we recommend exploring the nearby roads and side-streets, we stayed six nights and found many excellent local bars & restaurants which we preferred to the tourist spots. Location is great, my elderly parents were traveling with us and it's a nice, quiet area with excellent transport links. Very close to Tsukiji metro station which is only three stops from Tokyo mainline station so convenient for our onward journey to Kyoto. We also appreciated the efforts to minimise waste, water is provided in a Tetrapak which we refilled from the tap, and using the bedside tablet guests can choose how often they want the room cleaning. We highly recommend this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much!

The hotel is very close to the subway station. They don't provide bottled water, as the bathroom water is stated to be drinkable. There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, which is super convenient. If you're short on energy, you can take one subway stop to Ginza; otherwise, it's a manageable walk. The room itself was nothing special, but perfectly adequate, and good for light travelers, as our triple room didn't have space to fully open our luggage – the aisle was very narrow. However, that's a common issue in Tokyo, so it's acceptable. It was generally quiet at night.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, especially for Tokyo. It's super convenient for getting to Odaiba, and there's a large mall right next door with an Aeon supermarket downstairs, which is great for grabbing affordable food.
Directly connected to Toyosu Station. Equipped with a large bath, offering panoramic views of the Tokyo Bay Area. The hotel is directly connected to the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line "Toyosu" Station, approximately 10 minutes from the Ginza area, providing a convenient location close to tourist attractions. It features 225 guest rooms located above the 33rd floor. The 36th floor offers a lobby, restaurant, bar, and a large bath with an open-air bath, all with panoramic views of the Tokyo Bay Area. Enjoy an elegant stay as if cruising through Tokyo.
GGuest User2026.02.28
The views here are absolutely unbeatable! The lobby is on the 36th floor, and I was already blown away by the Tokyo Bay views during check-in. While the room is spacious for Tokyo standards and has a luxurious design, the night view is especially romantic, making it perfect for a couples' getaway. Plus, the LaLaport mall is right downstairs from the hotel, offering everything from dining and shopping to movies. It's the perfect choice for a date night stay!

Great
MM227909****The hotel's location is fantastic. You can reach the Shinjuku Station New South Exit in just a few minutes from the second floor. The rooms on the higher floors offer great views, perfect for seeing the city lights twinkling at night. Plus, there's an Alexa smart assistant in the room that you can connect to via Bluetooth.
ZZhongguangguangHonestly, aside from the price, this hotel has no flaws. It has its own natural hot spring, free to use after 3 PM as long as you follow the communal bathing rules. After a thorough rinse, you can enjoy a relaxing soak. From 5 PM onwards, there's even complimentary alcohol served on the first floor.
Every day, you can choose free pajamas and pillows, with various softness and firmness options available. There's an ice machine on each floor, where you can also get iced water.
Fresh and clean bath towels and other linens are provided daily.
The service is incredibly attentive and meticulous. Every time you leave, someone at the front desk wishes you a safe journey. When checking out, someone at the door will open it, bow, and wish you a safe trip.
Downstairs, there's a ramen shop open until 4 AM, so even if you miss dinner sometimes, you're in the central Ginza area, with countless restaurants open until the early hours just a few steps away.
The K S Higashi-Ginza Station is right at the doorstep. Across the street is the Higashi-Ginza Line of the Hibiya Line, and just one more street over is the Ginza Station of the Ginza Line, making transportation extremely convenient.
JJohn Zhu ≧◔◡◔≦Thank MIYU
During my trip to Japan, I stayed at this hotel. The front desk staff, MIYU (an intern), left a very deep impression on me.
I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time, and my English is not very good. However, MIYU could already understand what I wanted to say before I finished my sentence. This shows that she truly understands the needs of customers and is very empathetic. She is also very familiar with all aspects of the hotel’s operations and answered my questions patiently.
Her attitude and work performance are truly commendable, and she made me feel very welcomed. I am very grateful for her help.
≧◔◡◔≦

MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob).
Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn.
They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park.
However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around.
2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.
Llion_****I'd recommend this place. For around 1000 yen in central Tokyo, a 4-star hotel is pretty good. The room is small, but it has a separate sitting area and a proper hallway, so you can fully open your luggage.
The facilities are a bit old but very clean. There's an openable window, so you can air out the room daily, and even better, the hotel has a really decent gym.
There are plenty of food options nearby, and a new mall, plus drugstores. It's not what I'd call bustling, though.
You'll need to take the subway. The two closest stations are both over a 5-minute walk away. It's close enough, but you can't say it's just a couple of steps.
LLeeman NowThe location is very convenient to the shopping and food areas of Shinjuku. The room was comfortable and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’d easily recommend this hotel to any couples visiting Tokyo
WWeiHooI have tried a few capsule hotels, this is by far the worst. My capsule was on the fifth floor, but the lockers are located on the fourth floor which is very inconvenient since the shower is on the eighth floor. There is a sitting area outside the capsule room which is an unsightly mess as shown in the pictures. The mattress is hard and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most is the door that supposed to shun off the noise from outside, made a loud noise when it closes. I wonder if they are not aware of it or no one complains to them. Imagine how many people comes in and out the entire night and the cranky noise disturbed my sleep. I hope the management will be made known of this default. I will never come back again.
GGuest UserNice experience!Overall I recommend it for solo travellers. The location is central and it is close to metro stations.
Also, the bedsheets are changed everyday, you get clean pyjama and towels everyday.
One thing that was annoying is the size of the lockes, it is very small and little bit inconvenient with the card sistem.
Also keep in mind that you have to be out of the hotel during the certain hours due to cleaning.
GGuest UserThe room was perfect for our family since everyone had their own bed. The beds were comfortable, which made resting after long days of sightseeing easy. The only downside was limited space if you’re traveling with large luggage. The hotel’s location is very convenient it’s close to the train station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. There’s also a grocery store and a FamilyMart right outside the hotel, which was very helpful. The laundry area was another nice bonus for families traveling longer. Overall, a great and convenient stay in Ueno.
