Hotels near Samsen Soi 3, Bangkok

Truly enjoyed staying here! It is clean and the staff is friendly. They kinda understand English, just be patient with them. They also do laundry if you need one. They ask for 500THB for a key deposit but will be refunded when you check-out. They also offer car and van services if you need one. Just kinda noisy at night if you stay at the lower floors because the place is surrounded by bars and restaurants. Outside they also have an ATM, a pharmacy, a money exchange, and some shops.

Excellent location, lovely ”village” are near kohsan road, which is just 3 minute walk away but far enough away that you dont hear it and not in the main drag of it. Lovely pools, staff were amazing and when we had to lengthen our stay due to flight issues they were more than accommodating by keeping us in the same room so we didn't have to move all our stuff around. My only quam is no kettle in the room and TV very dated with only English news channels. But overall we would stay there again.

The air conditioning is a bit old-fashioned, but everything else is fine. The location is quite ideal, with plenty of local food stalls nearby, a 7-Eleven right outside, and songthaews readily available. The hotel price is very reasonable. I recommend it for families with children and couples. There's an indoor pool, and the opening hours are posted on the door, though I didn't go in – Bangkok is really hot!

I had a pleasant stay at Khaosan Palace and would happily recommend it, especially if you want to stay right in the heart of Khaosan Road. The room was spacious enough, comfortable, and cleaned daily. The hot and cold shower worked well, and having an elevator was a big plus. There is also a pool, which was great for cooling down after a long day out. Location-wise, it is not close to the BTS or MRT, but it is very near Phra Arthit Pier, which makes getting around the city easier. The boat is a convenient alternative for exploring temples, riverside areas, and even getting closer to malls, especially if you want to avoid traffic. If you arrive early, the hotel has a storage room where you can leave your luggage until check-in time. The same option is available after check-out, which was very convenient. If you arrive at night, you may need to walk a bit since Khaosan Road is closed to vehicles. During the day and until after noon, taxis or Bolt can usually get close to the hotel. Many reviews mention noise because it is in a party area, and yes, the parties can go on until 4am or even 6am sometimes. That said, I was surprised that it was not that loud in my room. I could hear some sound, but it was very faint, and the hotel even provides earplugs, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a good stay with solid amenities and a great location if you plan to explore Khaosan and nearby areas.

Was a great place right on Khao San Road with a 7/11 literally next door and a McDonalds and Irish Bar on the other side. During the day it’s perfect location for doing the tourism stuff and then obviously prime position for going out down Khao San Road. From our room you could hear the nightlife slightly but the blinds were completely black out and the air con worked a treat. Rooftop pool was amazing with cocktails and beers readily available.

Great Location Hundreds of restaurants and street food carts. Sidewalk vendors for clothing and accessories. It’s a bustling area but the hotel is peaceful and quiet Comfortable bed, room is good size with some seating bathroom and shower are small but functional Hotel has a relaxed vibe and nice decor making it very inviting. Luggage storage if you need it. Tourist desk in the lobby if you want a guided tour. Airport shuttle available to BKK A4 bus directly to DMK stops about 3 minutes walk $50 baht, track the Bangkok buses live with the APP viabus. Starts running around 6:50 am We will stay here again

Room with a window sounds good unless you’re at psa Khaosan with a boom box, blasting 70ies American country music, all day going and trying to sell some brews, right at front doors downstairs. Add some nice bass, Steady traffic and It’s wonderful daily changing markets just won’t let you getting any shuteye. Impossible to neither rest nor sleep. Other rooms without windows might be more suitable.

Good stay and good value. Location is great. Many restaurants, bars, massage salons and shop just outside the hotel. 1 thing can be a downside and that is the street noise in the evening time! Bars outside produce a lot of noise which can cause disturbance if you want to sleep. Staff is extremely friendly and very helpful.

3rd time staying here. 2018, 2023 and 2026. It's a perfect stop over in Bangkok. Bang on Khaosan Road, in the middle of the most lively road in Bangkok. Has a rooftop pool and bar, perfect for all day sunbathing before hitting the chaos in the evening. No complaints and would stay there over and over again if stopping over in Bangkok.

Pros My go-to hotel if I want to stay near Khao San and the main temples, palace etc. Excellent room amenities from robes and slippers to tea, coffee, lots of water and free soft drinks. A modern safety box, excellent bathroom amenities and a comfortable bed, air con - everything you need and more. Free drink from the bar Very good wifi Relatively quiet location for this area No deposit check in Very informative, tourist friendly service with access to a bar (rooftop) and restaurant Cons If you are noise sensitive (maybe Bangkok isn't for you) - the floor beneath the gym will have some banging sounds during the day. This is Bangkok, you will suffer the incessant noise of motorbikes and tuktuks, constantly. Ask for a room at the back - to be fair, this is one of the quietest hotels I've stayed in, in Bangkok for road noise but if you are sensitive to noise, ear plugs and a room at the back/side will be very helpful. I personally hate road noise but have stayed at Gravitique several times. Some noise from neighbours until around 11pm but after informing reception the noise stopped immediately. Highly recommended hotel, great value.
