"Great experience in Datai Langkawi. The best resort hotel in Langkawi or in Malaysia i would say. Nice atmosphere if you like to be in a quiet and serene place. Great food and great hospitality. A special shoutout to Hafizam for the guest attending service and Gaurav from the The Dining. Also to the Botanists Ms Ezy. Will come back for sure!"

"We are very impressed by the staff at the hotel. They were always friendly and ready to help and made us truly feel like at home. One staff member Sam went into great lengths to arrange the Mangrove kayak trip for us. When we couldn’t get a taxi back, he helped call a taxi to travel across the island to pick us up. For sure we will go back sometime in the future to visit and live in the same hotel!"

"Great value for money! While the hotel is a bit outdated, it compensates with its excellent location, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the staff. However, a downside is the absence of bottled water in the room — instead, water is provided in a carafe, which, in our opinion, has an unusual taste."

"I recently stayed at The Westin Langkawi, and it was an incredible experience. Situated right by the beach, the hotel offers breathtaking views that create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The property is expansive and well-maintained, with a focus on sustainability, including their own organic farming for fresh produce. The breakfast spread was extensive and catered to a wide range of tastes, ensuring a delightful start to the day. While Indian food was available, the options were somewhat limited. However, the quality of the food overall was excellent. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure all our needs were met. I would highly recommend The Westin Langkawi for anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful beachside getaway. My Room was Garden View"

"It was a perfect stay. The staffs are nice and friendly. The ocean view with infinite pool at Horizon is breathtaking. The breakfast at Langkawi kitchen is yummy. Unfortunately HAIYAN was not open for breakfast. Will definitely come back!"

"I recently stayed in one of their Rainforest Chalets, and it was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. Nestled in the lush greenery of the rainforest, the chalet offered a peaceful escape surrounded by nature’s sounds – perfect for unwinding. The chalet had a warm, rustic charm with a private balcony that opened up to the forest. Inside, it was clean and comfortable, with modern amenities like air conditioning and a spacious bathroom. The wooden floorboards were quite creaky, which was a bit noticeable, especially at night, but it added to the old-world feel of the place. One small but thoughtful gesture really stood out – a staff member came by to restock the minibar without us even asking, and when he noticed we don’t drink alcohol, he kindly offered to replace the beers with soft drinks instead. That level of attentiveness and flexibility really added a personal touch to our stay. The resort itself is large and beautifully maintained, with convenient shuttle service to get around. The staff throughout were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Rainforest Chalet at Berjaya Resort for anyone looking for a nature-immersed retreat with great service and comfort – just be prepared for a few creaks and quirks that come with staying in the heart of the rainforest."

"Lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious with a huge bed - a size that I’ve never seen before! The shower strength is amazing, with a filtered tap for filtered water. The staff are amazing and helpful. I’ve read some comments that said the breakfast didn’t have enough variety. I would disagree. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of different options. Their afternoon tea is worth the price too. The location is perfect. A few mins walk to cenang beach right where all the entertainment is. The underwater world is around the corner with plentiful shops and restaurants to eat from."

"It's supposed to be a five star hotel... I would say 4 max. From afar the public areas like the pools and bungalows and gardens are stunning and premium. However the room itself needs a bit of upgrade like the shower system for example (old, rusty and not that clean, the water tap is built incorrectly which made the water leak on the counter then on the floor). The staff however is very professional and friendly."
